You are finally getting the midfield pieces correct. Onyedika is a must. Onyeka and Ndidi should not play together due to their limited technicalities even though playing them together against certain less technical opposition may hide the flaws of that combo.

In truth, the best 3 man midfield we would parade FOR NOW based on the talents we have available in world football today is Onyedika, Nwakali and Iwobi and a close second being Onyedika, Onyeka/Ndidi and Iwobi.

Will keep saying it as I see it. The right player profiles synchronised together almost always produces the magic we hope to see.

Nwakali? You must be an agent

How are you benching your best attacking player Lookman in the last 12 months just to prove a point?

Osimhen and awoniyi should not be invited for the friendlies. U don't invite injured players .
Also adebayo adeleye in Israel daniel akpeyi in South Africa (h plays regularly in the South African league) madeuka okoye and a good home based goalkeeper should be invited for the goal keeping position. We can't resort to uzoho when nwabili is injured.
Fisayo dele Bashir and ibrahim olawoyin should play in midfield instead of iwobi.
The person who drew up that list is a clown. I dont understand our coaches.ans is even reporting that napoli does not want osimhen to come.
Let us see what dessert and moffi can do.
We shouldbstop playing friendlies if we can't use it to discover new players.
God almighty give us good coaches who have wisdom amen

Don’t realize that we are playing Ghana? This ain’t no friendly game my nig@@

Only mumu/indomie generation will use statistics as the main measurement for a footballer ability. In some indomie generations mind, frank lampard was a better midfielder than Zidane because he scored and assisted more goals than Zidane. Remember that at 18 years, Tobago was terrorizing maldini

Osimehn, Boniface and Lookman are already set. We just need similar available qualities on the bench

Every time bro talks shit of osimhen is when osimhen performs the best

From now on, once he drops his nonsense takes on osimhen instead of arguing with him, I go play osimhen to score for sporty grin grin

Jinx my nyash. Point of correction, I never said that osimehn is a bad striker or isn’t world class. My only issue with osimehn is that he doesn’t perform or score at big games/do or die matches I.e vs Ghana wcq or ANC Final. Congratulations on his performance today. Also, this slowpoke omitted that part.

Every goalscorer is as good as his team mates. I wonder how people expect a player in a team that played 80℅ of a match in their own half to just conjure goals. A striker can only score if he has opportunity of even shooting. If a striker is denied of that he will become anonymous. Carry halland and put in burnley. Play him against Man City. I want check something.

That’s not true. World class strikers are capable of creating and scoring their own chances. If you think I’m lying go and watch fenomeno, Henry, cristiano even drogba will shoot from 40 yards

Emenike is not in anywhere near Osimhem.

Stop talking rubbish.

Stop betting

You must be smoking maragana. Emenike qualified Nigeria and won the nations cup on his first attempt while performing in big games and while osimehn is also a top class performer for the super eagles, he wasn’t as impressive for Nigeria as emenike thus far. You don’t want to perform at big games and you expect everyone to be mute because you be dangote

Go and get a bottle of coke 🍾with a smile , you are getting agitated and all fired up with rage 😡😡.

But why 🤔

It really depends on what unit of measurement will you use to decide world class. For me it's one word CONSISTENCY over time.

When I say Kane, Lewondoski, Mbappe, Ronaldo, Haaland, Salah, Messi, Lukaku, are WORLD 🌎 CLASS what you will notice is CONSISTENCY. These players have been at the top of the goal scoring charts for some over a decade.

VO is an absolute excellent player in what he does with a unique skill set. However, last season 2022/23 after three seasons in Seria A he was the golden boot winner. He did not do that in the Belgium, Bundesliga and French league one.

Now that he has achieved this outstanding accolade the real test is to do it again or at least stay in the top 5. To prove the consistency of world class top quality,it has to be done , in this season and the coming seasons.

Without prejudice I would not call him world 🌎 class yet. He is getting there but has not arrived. Unfortunately this season if he can get to the top 5 that would be outstanding to prove he is truly world class.

Would you call call Martinez, Dusan Vlahovic, Giroud world class ❓

Bro, I disagree on your analogy. To me, a world class player is a player that can play at the highest level and is extremely competent regardless of his consistency. For example,Ronaldinho prime was from 2002 until 2006 and he was world class during that period. Afterwards, he lost form and sadly went into oblivion. On current form, there are not many number 9 better than osimehn and he is presently capable of excelling at the highest level. Osimehn main roadblock has been his inability to perform at big games and once he sorts that roadblock, the sky is the limit. He is the type of player that will guarantee you goals against small teams while being quiet at semi, finals etc. furthermore, he is definitely a world class striker in 2024

Oshimen has nothing more to prove to anyone again. If you’re not satisfied kindly ignore him and look up to other players. Scoring in big games or not cannot reduce his validation. Dude has paid his dues for both club and country whether you ask for more or not

He actually has to win a tournament for the super eagles to be considered the Goat. Don’t deceive yourself. It seems like we have created different rules for SE players. Ighalo scored 5 ANC goals and was chased out of SE but when it comes to other players, expectations is different and you will be gas lighted for highlighting any of their weaknesses

Stop capping nonsense with pride, he won the scudetto for Napoli last season. Even at U17 level, he won the world cup for us.

He won Scudetto alongside his teammates and was definitely a vital member of that squad just wasn’t ranked as their MVP, it was handed to kvara

He scored in the semi final.. was it his fault that the goal was ruled out?
In the final, with the ultra defensive style Peseiro employed, how did you expect him to score?
Since that Ghana game, you have made up your mind that he isn't good enough, so there's really no point in arguing with you.

Which stupid ultra defensive formation? I guarantee you emenike would had won us that ANC. When they crowd the box, cut back and start shooting long ranger. I actually like osimehn but he has to refine his game if not goals will be bountiful against the likes of São Tomé, Cagliari, genoa, chievo etc but at finals or semi finals na AWOL

Osimehn has played over 35 games for Nigeria how many big games has he scored for Nigeria? 0. Yes, the man hustle, never say die attitude, fighter, determination but when it comes to big games, he becomes quiet. Aside of Ghana wcq, he had ANC QF, SF, and final to score and he couldn’t

Meanwhile osimhen casually handed napoli their first league trophy in 30years last season 🤡🤡

Casually handed napoli their first league trophy? You must be drinking. He was definitely one of their most important players alongside Kvara, kim and spaletti and he wasn’t rated as the best. Kvara was awarded the MVP

It possibly did. He was just so unlucky. 4 canceled goals. The one against SA just nailed it. The ref made a good call but do you think if Osimhen had not scored, they would have reviewed that infraction? That's the bad luck I'm talking about

Osimehn not scoring at Afcon was him being humbled because of how he was treating his teammates. If you noticed at Afcon, he wasn’t screaming at his team mates anymore. Next Afcon, he will start scoring again and I hope that, he doesn’t reverts to old ways
