With a good coach, we can dominate Africa for (atleast) five years. We have the players✌️

From the look of things, it’s realistically only PSG that would put in a serious bid for Osimhen, because Chelsea are now focused on signing a current EPL striker…

Osimehn will give you goals but won’t win you tournaments. He is the type to score a lot of goals against small teams and goes missing at big games. To capitalize on players like him, you need another big game player next to him

Excuses. Lame excuses. With the potato pitches and wicked tackles they had to play on.

Wicked tackles was because the defenders then could not defend. Today, defending is on another level.

Goodjoe you're overlooking the point that I when you can drill your team to get into good positions your opponents would also come up with tactics to nullify such player placements leading to stalemates or games based on attrition football.

Now this is where a player with X factor comes in. Someone who comes in with outrageous ability which completely befuddles whatever structured play your opponents have put in place. I've seen such as players many times win so many games for their teams.

I agree that tactical play has leveled the playing field but when you have a player who through a moment of genius or dribbling skill can win you a game is unfair to call it playing to gallery.

Actually, you are supporting my point.

I said we have clever geniuses in today's game, however, solo dominance is becoming harder due to deep and organized structure.

Salah for instance is brilliant when it comes to ability with the ball. He can make insane runs and has crazy dribbling attribute.

Still, he must play in a structured pattern to get the best of the team and unleash his magic periodically. That does not mean the ability is dead but it is used with more direction and purpose.

Welcome to the Salah Show.
