thank you sir…OSIMHEN DRAGGED US TO THAT FINAL
Scored 1goal and made 3 struggling assists….
person wey be say his disallowed hustling goal against SA sent like 3 rich men to their early grave…..
-Kudos to lookman for being spectacular and always at the right place to pounce on begging chances.
-Kudos to Ekong for stepping up to slot in cooly our PKs
-Kudos to osimhen for not totally fading away even when he was not scoring…..if e sure peseiro he for drop am to the bench after the group stage matches….wether no be beaten cameroon go use purse us like thief….
if Osimhen had been dropped to the bench, its most likely lookman will score but Nigeria will not cross that stage…is it lookman that wanna keep those rugged african defenders on their toes?
Osimhen would have been heavily criticized if he had been a ghosted passersby at the afcon.
It was a team performance but ademola look man was our best player and dragged us to the final. Without look man performance, we wouldn’t had reached that final. Moffi couldn’t even get any minutes until the semi final

To be fair, dessers has been given numerous chances similar to boniface at the SE and none has capitalized on it. Presently, due to injuries, the position is open for grab

This is the lie of the century, anybody who watched Afcon knows that Osimhen dragged us to the finals, strikers are not only judged by goals but by there performances also
No it was a team performance but Ademola lookman was our best player at the ANC. Let’s not rewrite history for our favorites

This platform is getting filled up with what Patomiliki terms "football know-nothings". These kind of people are the ones that also come here to tell us that Kanu was terrible because he didn't score at AFCON, yet in most cases it was a simple brilliant move or assist from him that won us most crucial matches.

Lol if we didn't have Osimhen in that team, especially with the type of anti-football tactics deployed by JPez, we would not have beaten CIV, Cameroun and even SA.

Till tomorrow, people praise Emenike for his goals in 2013 and rightly so, but to me, Ideye was also a Trojan warrior. Osimhen did not only shine, but was also the person who watered the garden for the likes of Lookman to thrive too.

Too many mumu takes in here lately. Sometimes I wonder if someone has introduced this thread to these Facebook boys 🥱
Story for the gods. Osimehn is a hardworking player for Nigeria but at the last ANC, he worked hard and created chances but his conversion rate and chances missed was atrocious and it cannot be negated. His ANC performance contributed to bigger clubs being skeptical on paying that release clause. Although, his still an extremely useful player and our best striker but that ANC performance was average

Which fact exactly? The fact that he scored just one goal at the last AFCON? The fact that he missed the most chances at the last AFCON? The last time I checked, Osimhen missed about 13 chances at the last AFCON. He probably also scored the most offside goals(haven't checked) because he just couldn't keep himself onside as usual.

Rules are changed for certain players

The thing with you people is that you're trying to redefine the GENERAL definition of a Striker/Centre Forward.

Osimhen didn't win African Player of the Year by marking players, winning penalties or creating space for other players. He won it because of the goals, assists and trophy he won with Napoli.

I expect better from him and that's why I'm calling out his flaws, but it seems like people like you who act like you love him more than anyone else are hell-bent on preventing him from improving. Since you want to talk about agendas, then perhaps that's your own agenda. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The trajectory that salah is going this season, he will probably win the next APOY and has a good shot at the Balon D’or and if he wins the latter, he will become the African GOAT

You have mental issues. Whose fault was it that south Africa left their airport behind schedule?

Whose fault was it that Libya chose to cut costs and be dramatic instead of landing directly in Uyo like others.

Sorry man, but you are quite retarded. So, Algeria also came with those pillows in 2017 because we were gonna deny them pillows in their hotels?

Of all the African giants we have hosted, it was those Libyan rats that we would play gimmicks on for some cheap points? You are a real cunt. I wish this site had a block button just like twitter, I for dun block your dumb ass a long time ago.

As of right now, if osimhen becomes unavailable, Nigeria are toothless upfront. Boniface who was initially a talented player is playing horribly for Nigeria and dessers has been underperforming. Suddenly, it’s quite possible that we might not qualify for the World Cup despite having back to back APOY. It might be time to give some inform backwater league strikers a chance

Nigeria is about to have back to back APOY playing at Seria A prior to winning that award. This is a sign that we need more of our players at Seria A and it’s not epl all the time. Lookman shouldn’t leave Seria A except signed to an Historical big club

I never praised the performance of the team today, if you followed the thread during the match, you'll see my comments regarding how bad the match was.

I'm only celebrating Osimhen's goal, you're talking of the team. If not for Simon's brilliance and Victor's goal, this is a lost match for Nigeria but a big win for you and your anti-Osimhen squad. The fact you've deleted your initial draft on Osimhen is a win for me. Stick with the missing sitters one.
Bro, you have every right to celebrate his goal and I don’t have an issue with it. My only issue was people celebrating the team performance individual and collective when they were Average except Onyemachi. It’s disrespectful to label anyone as “anti anyone” simply because of an opinion

Wilfred Ndidi is a seasoned midfield General. I respect his contributions and all but he doesn't make this midfield two fly the way Onyeka did alongside Iwobi.

Personnel combos matter.

Ndidi still outdueled everyone today though. Won the most duels (10) in the game and completed the 2nd most passes (69) in the game (1st was Bassey). But I know for certain Ndidi in a balanced midfield 3 will be more appreciated in the GWG.
Ndidi is not a better player than Onyedika or even onyeka and is only starting due to seniority

Use your brain sometimes... You whine too much. I know you edited the rubbish draft you wanted to post that he didn't score, now it's "he missed two sitters" oshey, Joseph the Carpenter... Keep counting seats.
You must be crazy so you want me to be excited that the Giant of Africa were held to a stalemate by one the Historically Giant of African football, Benin? We have to be truthful devoid of any emotions when analyzing Games. Todays performance by the super eagles was an eyesore and everyone except Onyeamachi were Average or Below average including my fave Ademola lookman. You won't talk about Lookman?
Lookman Who is my Boy was also Below average today. Eguavoen needs to realize that lookman beat position is Centre and not the wings. You watch a world class player terrorize seria A defenders playing Centre and you decide to play him on the wings? How do you expect him to perform at his best. Like I said, the entire team were average or below average except “Bruno onyeamachi”

Leave the clown, the thing wey dey vex me pass na the "remove the goals against..." are you that slow? The Ronaldos and Messis them, the highest number of their international goals are against Luxemburg, Andorra, Bolivia, San Marino etc...

We played Zimbabwe and Lesotho in the WCQ without Osimhen, na midfielders dey equalize 1–1 for us, when Osimhen scored two and gave an assist against that same Lesotho in one match the previous year.

Person go just wan feel intelligent start dey jam talk anyhow.
You didn’t see the two SITTERS missed in the first half? Clear cut chance from bruno or you want to be a Pathological Liar? Anyway, he scored and rightly deserves commendation but he needs to improve on his “Offside trap” and “Conversion rate”. The entire team except Bruno were AVERAGE maybe it was because they were aware of secured qualification. We can not be celebrating todays performance or draw against Benin IDGAF they’re a small team in African football history

Aside him not contributing anything to today's match, he was also cut off his position on numerous occasions, I started asking myself if he even knows his position on the field.
Them say make he play AM, he will leave his position and be seen on the left, the right, leaving his AM position empty
The entire team except Bruno were average or below average let’s not single out Iwobi here

Osimhen despite his well deserved goal (Good goal) was AVERAGE today. Multiple offsides and 3 missed SITTERS is unacceptable at this level and will be punished against world class team. (Don’t listen to the PR campaign going on here) infact, the entire Team except Bruno onyeamachi were AVERAGE and Below average today. Eguavoen will have to improve on that midfield because today’s performance wasn’t acceptable. Additionally, against rwanda, I expect a 4-0 Win in addition to coherent football. Bruno and Moses Simon just focus on delivering precise crosses because we have the best header of the ball in the world
