[quote author=Sessanvandy post=93717850]Good evening Nairalanders, please i need your sincere opinion on this issue bothering me.
I have been dating this guy for 9 months and our relationship has been going well except for this issue.
My boyfriend or should i say fiancé ( he has introduced me to his family as the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with and my family is in support of the relationship) has been in contact with his ex-girlfriend who is married with a son.
My man spends 1-2hrs on phone with his ex girlfriend in my presence and when i confronted him, he told me to bear in mind that he can never stop talking to her because she didn't offend him and if she needs any monetary support, he won't hesitate to help.
They have no intimate relationship maybe cus of distance, He agreed not to call her but promised to take her calls when she does and she calls frequently.
Her husband also warned him to stay away from his wife but he wouldn't listen.
He is a nice guy with a good heart and we are planning introduction by December
I told him that if he can't stop communicating with his ex girlfriend the relationship is over but he still insist on maintaining contact with her... Pls am i overreacting, How do i handle this??....mature advice needed!
sorry for the long post.
[/quote
This is the present condition of your husband. I will advise u to leave this relationship now or regret letter.

Romance › Re: SHOCKING: Nigerian Woman Divorces Her Husbands Because Of Underwear. See What Ha by BanRobinson: 12:29pm On Sep 10, 2020 |
5Ebiscoo: A Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan on Wednesday dissolved a marriage involving a trader, Sadia Abass, and her husband, Azeez.
The wife had petitioned the court over allegations that Azeez stole her underwear for ritual, NAN reports.
Sadia expressed fear for her life if she continued to live under the same roof with a man planning to use her for something diabolic.
The trader said her husband’s attitude had made the marriage miserable and unattractive.
“When the ill-treatment reached its peak, I discovered that my underwear was missing. He denied seeing it. Three days later, the underwear resurfaced where I had checked over and over and I made him realise his evil intention toward me.
“Only God knows what would have happened or might still happen to me because I have made it clear to him that I will not continue with the relationship. From when I got married to him, he has not been responsible. Even during my pregnancy and after, he never showed care.
“Despite his irresponsibility, he usually attempts to rape me even when I’m not in the mood and I reported him to his parents. Besides, Azeez has been monitoring me all over the place,” Sadia stated.
Azeez refuted all the allegations while under cross-examination.
He claimed that the wife repeatedly plunged him into debt.
“Sadia does not wish me well, all the money that I was supposed to spend on my business usually fall into her hands. She always returns home around midnight.
“It affected our child negatively. His teachers told us that he sleeps when other children are learning. Most of the time, I buy food to eat when she refuses to cook. Every now and then, she nags and packs in and out of the house.”
Ademola Odunade, President of the court, in his judgement, held that there was no more love between the duo.
He pronounced the marriage dissolved “in the interest of peace and harmony”.
Odunade granted custody of the only child to the plaintiff.
He ordered the defendant to pay N5,000 monthly for the child’s feeding, in addition to being responsible for his education and basic welfare.

damilola4162: There was chaos in Ikotun on Tuesday afternoon as a lady, identified as Linda Majekodunmi slumped on Oja, Bus Stop, Ikotun Old Garage, after her boyfriend, Fabian failed to propose.
Eyewitness said the two young people have been head over heels in love with each other for a long time with marriage in view.
But it seem the guy had a change of mind as he refused proposing Linda.
The scene attracted onlookers as so many people found the scenario funny and pitiful.
Linda became scared and begged the guy to marry her, dragging his Jean trousers.
The guy who didn’t seem moved with her pleas tried to lose himself off her grip as she threatened to kill herself.
When Linda noticed her boyfriend was adamant, she slumped on the ground.
Passerbys managed to rush her to an undisclosed hospital while the man ran for safety.
Residents of Ikotun slammed her for acting in such a childish and irresponsible manner no matter how heartbroken she had felt earlier over a failed marriage plan.
