But, my concern is, many of the B team have had one or two chances of playing with the 1st team while their promising captain has never been given any. I think a buy back clause should have been included in the deal to make it easier in case we still need him in the future.
By the way, we have not seen Dongou this season. The guy reminds me of a young Eto when ever he plays.

Maybe Lucho doesn't truly like Grimaldo, maybe. The most important thing should be that he gains experience, I don't know if there was any buy back clause in his transfer deal but we can still get him back nonetheless.
Now that you talk of Dongou, I just remembered the few stints he had under Tata Martino, showed promise then but was still not ready. He's still 20 years and I guess he's doing well in the B-team

We've conquered Europe twice with the pique/mascherano CB pairing and they're playing the exact same way, it's about form, they're not too old. Although I agree we have to replace old legs, it's only matthieu and maybe Vermaelen I'd want us to replace, the rest are still doing very well for me. English players don't really do well in Spain btw so I just don't buy the idea of stones, not that he's bad, just their orientation. I'd go for Laporte though, he's spanish and knows la liga very well. I actually thought we were gonna get him last season cos we were strongly linked with him

I actually saw it and though it's possible, I think it's a rumor. Once these players turn pros, the decision to sell them doesn't depend on the club management alone anymore, they have a say too. Many of them are in a hurry to play

He will obviously not get a lotta playing time, but when it comes to playing leftback the way it's meant to be played, only Alba is ahead. Mathieu and Adriano shouldn't be playing left back for Barcelona, but for Leeds United or Northampton.
