Chelseafan1: Actually, this is where u got it all wrong, I don't hate Neymar as u making it seem, on this same thread and on the Chelsea thread, I have praised Neymar in the past, when he plays well, I say the truth, against Atletico, he messed up until he scored that freekick which I commended, u can hardly find any barca fan say anything good about Hazard.
You are the one bringing Hazard's name into this discussion, Neymar has been shitty, barca fans at the viewing centre are all saying the same.
Its only on this thread, his excesses are overlooked. I never said Neymar has been perfect in this match. He's had a poor performance so far I agree (he just scored as I'm typing this ) but my point is; It happens. There are days like that Hazard is a wonderful player don't get it twisted. The arguments come in when Chelsea fans say he's better than Neymar |

Chelseafan1: Can't I say the obvious about a player?? for a player who u guys claim is better than Ronaldo, he shouldn't be playing this shitty.
I don't need to compare him with Hazard, as they grow older, we wud see who wud be rated better than the other.
Just as in many matches, he losses possession, miss chances buh u guys will only come out to shout his name only when he scores. Anybody can say a player is better than another, especially on social media. You only get to judge when professional players and governing bodies judge with awards Your track record regarding Neymar speaks for itself so I know where you're getting at. You can keep up with the comparisons but you and I know who's better Any player can lose possession, it's part of football but you seem to never see anything good in anything Neymar does |

Johnpaul88: Roberto's breakthrough as a fullback will relaunch him to being a better midfielder. I'm certain about this. The enormous confidence he's gained from the coach and players around him in this period would see him slot seamlessly into the middle of the park when next he plays there. This is what had been lacking in his game I hope for the sake of the team that you're right. We're really short in the middle, especially with Rafinha's long lay off |

darkenedrebel: yet the same busquets is nowhere near the name yaya toure in the football-stratum currently.. Your opinion. He's better in my opinion you are the only one that thinks he hasn't proved himself or copped a shirt, because soccer pundits in Marca think otherwise- the adjective they used in describing him was- indispensable They thought the same of Thiago too remember? And we both know how good thiago was. Marca pundits don't play the game, their job is what they're doing. If Roberto plays well enough to earn his respect, he'll surely get it that's part of the reason why his improvement would be stunted. if we don't trust him with big responsibilities, how then is he supposed to develop those xavi & iniesta-esque qualities needed to boss the midfield
Lucho needs to return him back to his original role & give him more playing time... or what would happened when rafinha leaves in january? He should know he can't just get into the first team with ease at a club like Barca. The stakes are always high so he should make good use of the few chances he gets. The manager sees more than we do, he sees them in training, so he gives the ones who deserve playing time some. Rafinha had minimal playing time last season and he did very well |

dmcdad: There are different factors that play either in favour of a player or against him. If you wanna look at it from such angle, at Samper's age, why is he still playing in the 3rd division? Does that mean he aint good? Of course not. Thats to tell you that opportunities differ, and so do other factors.
Anyway, like I said, he is not as bad as some of us make him seem. Not saying he is great at midfield, but definitely not at the level some of us degrade him to be. Plus, some players can be great at a position and thats just it, some others might not be that good in a certain position, but coud be useful if not more in other positions. Such players should be appreciated too. I wonder if Roberto had not been there to cover for Dani and the other RBs, what would have happened?
Certainly, he played the Busi role last season and he did great in nearly all the matches he played in that position. I even thought that was the best that could be done with him, to make him a make-shift DM. But alas, he came this season with another surprise to debut at RB. Lets just see how things evolve. He could play in the middle against lowly teams like Levante, Las Palmas and the likes... I dont think he is that bad that he couldnt be featured in midfield against such teams.
Meanwhile, useless Sevilla dey lose 0-2 for their home against Celta. If them see Barca now, all their body go strong. Wednesday's game against Celta would not be a cake-walk. Na only God go help us ooooooo. The few games he played last season, he never filled me with confidence TBH. He can surely improve I admit but that doesn't mean I should rate him higher than he currently plays Yes I agree he can play against the lowly rated teams to improve his game and I hope for the sake of the team that he does You dey mind sevilla? Yeye team. Na to dey form commando when dem meet us dem sabi |

darkenedrebel: how much play-time did he get to prove himself & how old is he? all these things should be put into consideration before judgement is passed...
he's one our brightest students from La masia, so I'm quite shocked when i saw you undermining his capability of playing as a midfield. you obviously don't know who Sergio Roberto is & what he can do when he is in his element How much play time did busquests get to displace yaya ? That excuse is stale. He should make use of the little minutes he get to claim a shirt like rafinha did last season We can use him in midfield of course but definitely not against the tough opponents. I judge him based on what I see him play, there's no bias on my part. Or would you say lucho is being biased for not giving him more games ? |

dmcdad: TBH, he is not as bad as some of us have made him seem. Maybe we expect too much from him. Think about it... I judge a player on what I see him play, not what he can improve to be. If a player is good, there's no ifs or maybes, he's good. Rafinha is about his age and we both know he's better. Busquests and Javi Martinez at 20 were already in the Spanish national team playing against the best teams |

Awesome01: With the recent lack of depth in the midfield now and inconsistencies and injuries. Which would you prefer? Sergi Roberto moving back to midfield while Lord Douglas or Adriano having another chance at right back? The guy (Roberto) is wack in midfield TBH, he might play midfield in some copa del rey matches sha. Adriano at right back is not bad. Dani Alves will be back soon, and I think Mascherano will get some minutes in midfield till January. or Messi dropping to partner Iniesta in midfield while Sandro partners Suarez/Neymar upfront? Ehn? No go there oh. Our beloved MSN? No matter the midfield/defensive crisis we have, once MSN is available and in form, there's a very good chance we're winning |

dmcdad: The weight of such a legendary footballing nation shouldn't be resting sorely on the shoulders of a 23 year old guy. Its just too much, and it is evident when he is not there.
If only Dunga would be wise enough to make Coutinho a cog in the wheel to work alongside Neymar, things would be more rosy than they are. Coutinho is high quality, and if you integrate a player of his calibre to the team, with Ney the engine, not to mention the likes of Douglas Costa and Hulk, they would be something else. Hulk is a very good player too, but I find it surprising that they are yet to make him an integral part of the team.
I believe Brazil have the raw materials. They need just a coach that would turn those into finished goods. If they can get the "5-time world champions" and " the only country to have played every world cup" out of their head, Brazil would be a team to beat. They have even more skillful players who play in the Brazilian and south American leagues. The ones who move to Europe too early lose most of their skills (especially in the EPL) maybe because of the training methods. Neymar's case would've been similar if he had moved to the EPL too |

marqueetim: For me he performs better in a Brazilian shirt, just that other players let him down there, the opposite is the case in Barca. Brazil have good, albeit overhyped players though. Oscar, Willian, Douglas, Hulk et al are gifted footballers who can win a game on their own. If Neymar had played in the 2000-2006 Brazil team, he would probably have had less pressure on himself and won a laurel |
