Good afternoon House,
Please i need an advise, i have to choose between sheridan college CCTT & canadore college pls which is a better option.
Also, i have almost 10yrs visiting visa, i want to know if a student visa cancels the visiting visa. can i go in and out of canada during the academic year.
lastly please, is it better to apply from here or in canada since i already have a visiting visa.

I Received my admission letter yesterday for sept 2017, Thank God.

please what is the next step after confirming my place and paying the fees. I will be paying for the first semester while I plan to pay the other later.

I will be staying with my cousin, do I still need to show prove of accommodation in my account?
I will be getting a huge sum of money in my account before applying, do they frown on that?
what is the ideal money to have in the account. is 7m okay after paying the first tuition fee which is 7580cad.

please advise.

Good Evening everyone, thank you for all the info as regards study in Canada. am new on this thread and would like to make the below clarifications.

I recently applied to a uni to study supply chain mgt (I have over 5years experience as an admin officer ). I have been given a student number but they are yet to get my transcript and English as a medium ( I have applied for this is my uni ). These are my questions below please
1) Is IELTS compulsory? I am hoping to use just English as a medium as Nigeria is an English speaking country.
2) I will be 33 this year before the fall session and am applying for a post graduate certificate, does this matter?
3) I have a little over 5 years experience, is this an advantage.
4) I will be sponsoring myself and partly my cousin who stays in Ontario, his married and has a good job. is this okay?
5) I hope to get a study leave letter from my office but they will not be sponsoring me. is this also okay? as we are allowed to study leave after 5years.
6) I will have 5m after paying for my first semester tuition fee and will not be needing accommodation as I will stay with my cousin, is the money okay to convince the consular that I wont be a liability to their country.
7) is it compulsory to include my parents in the documentation even if they are not able to sponsor me but to show that I have family ties?
I do pray to get my admission letter before the end of march and apply in April, how long does the process take as my session starts in Sept
9) Most importantly I have a 10year uk ban due to a forged document (a) how do I include that and still prove am worthy of the study permit (b) does this affect their decision (c) what strong documents do I need show to over shadow all this. please note that I had written to the uk embassy stating I didn't know the documents were forged as I had used an agent then.
10) can I show money from two accounts, my dorm and naira?

hello just wise, I am doing for my recent student application that was denied but I was refused based on the ban from 2011. and they need me to prove that it was not an online application as at Nov. 2011.

please I am in the middle of a administrative review and would need to prove that as at Nov. 2011 the application was done on paper not online. I have been trying to get the details online but nothing concrete. I was assisted by an agent so I did not fill the form myself and cannot remember the process as all I did was just to sign for it.
please assist.

REFUSAL ON TIER 4 STUDENT VISA
hello @ just wise, I am new here and have read your comments and advise, you are doing a good work. I have a case at hand. I just recently applied for a post graduate course in one of the universities in the UK. I applied to several schools, one of the schools asked if I have been refused a visa before and if yes I should send the refusal notice. yes, I had been refused before but did not have my refusal note so I wrote a letter of consent to them advising the embassy to state reason of refusal. now this is where the shock began, I got a mail from the school saying I had a 10year ban for deception and non genuine documents. I was sad, angry and just confused. I really want to further my studies. this must be the hand of the agent I used as at that year. I also ddnt notice the refusal as I was more particular about a visa, when there was no visa I just ddnt bother reading why (very irresponsible of me).fast forward, I involved an immigration officer who wrote to the embassy on compassionate ground and they replied saying that the decision made as at then is correct and in accordance with the immigration rules however if I wish to have fresh documents considered I may make a fresh application, I am welcome to make a fresh application any time at our visa application centers and I should attempt to address the concerns outlined in the refusal notice. Gosh I was so happy and went ahead with my admission, got a good school paid my fees in full, had enough money for maintenance and was so happy to apply(another mistake I made, I ddnt address the issue I only stated that the ECO was not statisfied with my documents, as I thought they will have the response on their system. I waited the normal 15 days got a mail that decision has been made and was too happy to go get my visa (note I had booked my flight but of course I had not paid, I was just waiting for the visa) and there it was gbagaun, no visa. I scored the 40points but was still refused based on the decision on the ban. Now am more sad, so so sad and confused. I was given an administrative review and that's what just am doing. Now this are my questions; how long does an administrative review take? what are the chances it can be overturned? are there cases like this and what do you advise. its open to the house, honest answers plss
