I stand with the team come rain come sun. This does not mean we should not call a spade a spade rather than a mere working tool.
We have not been playing well at all this season and we have often times been bailed out by individual's brilliance. Our midfield has been completely off it and it calls really for concern.
Most of our players have been performing below expectation if you would agree with me. Alba, Neymar, Suarez, Busi, Rakitic, Masch are all not doing well, and these are the major guys in the 1st team. Messi was out for months and we suffered because Ney and Suarez couldnt live up to expectation. 32yr old Iniesta is out injured and our midfield has been in shambles.
If we continue this way, it's only a matter of time before the team collapses especially when Messi's brilliance is not enough to bail us out.
Lucho needs to sit up and find solution to our midfield. He takes the credit when things are fine and should definitely take the blame when they're not.
Im all for constructive criticism, not all this EnriqueOut rubbish anytime things don't go well. I mean, for someone who has helped us win a lot, he deserves better

When are you going to stop sucking Enrique's cucumber? The team is performing woefully and you are saying this.
Imagine Barcelona playing first half goal-less draw with a struggling team, also conceding goals unnecessarily?
Smh for some fans sha.
When the team is doing well, we all sing their praises, if it's otherwise, we shouldn't be quiet. Xavi,Iniesta and Messi being the heart of Barcelona is better than MSN combination. our midfield is empty.
Enrique should #BringBackOurCruff/PepBarcelona

ALL IZZ WELL
So wat do u suggest? Go bring xavi back nd heal iniesta and put dem on d pitch? Problem wit u guys is u expect us to thrash evry team we face cos ure used to it. i got news for u, things n times change, xavi s era is over, live with it. We played similar football last 2 seasons in d ucl against psg nd lost, we had to beat dem on d last group stage match day to secure top spot, we went thru a difficult phase in d league wen we lost to RM n Celta nd slipped to 4th frm 1st, lost @ d anoeta wen a win would av made us top. Was Enrique not d manager den? Did he not get it right eventually wen it mattered most? angry Gosh pple hav short memories, all of a sudden Enrique is mediocre jst cos d team isn't playing well, and its not even as if our bad game play has seen us get dumped out of d ucl or put us 8pts adrift d league leaders. Enrique has earned d board s trust, U can take it or leave it
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by BarcaBlood: 11:21pm On Nov 01, 2016
Sum pple on this thread will jst kill themselves over nothing, so we lost a match, BIG DEAL. We r still topping d group, and enrique aint going nowhere. If we dis meet dis same man city in d knockout phase, dey r out. Why hang ur neck over an irrelevant match wen d league is throwing a big match @ us dis weekend. Enrique out on monday, we miss xavi on tuesday, neymar should be sold on wednesday, grimaldo should come back on thursday. All bunch of irrelevancies

Are we gonna qualify frm d group? Definitely. but its not enough, enrique out

Are we league favourites? Yes. but its not enough, neymar has to go

If you kill urself, life will continue, and Enrique will remain Barca manager angry angry

Everybody has a reason for supporting any team, you don't just wake up and start supporting something or someone. As for me good foot ball is why I started supporting FCB and am sure you also have a reason for supporting any team you are supporting -Many chealsea fans started supporting chelsea because of MOU and/or Drodga.

This is why I enjoy football, after all what use is watching them play if there is no entertainment.
which is why I rather watch two bottom teams in laliga play than watch any EPL clash (except the current MAN CITY and LIVERPOOL), I usally feel like am watching two chess masters play becos of the tactical contest.

Brazil was dorminant because of thier great, fine and amazing football event when they are losing they still entertain their supporters.
Fair enough, we all have our reasons for supporting a team but the term "good football" has different meanings to different pple. Good football to me entails winning even on a bad day, wen d team isnt in form. It might mean something else to anoda person

So if we start playing our possession football and losing, ull prefer it to playing badly nd winning?

C'mon, are you trying to say our display this season has not been far less appealing than previous seasons?

Didn't you read the Guillem Balague article I pasted here? He also insinuated it there! Busquets presence doesn't change anything, he is even suffering from the midfield rot that is happening now!
U can look @ it in 2 ways; we're off form OR opposition teams have found ways of playing against us, and anytime teams play well against us, especially in d middle, its going to look as if we have midfield crisis but truth is, we can't expect to be beating teams black nd blue everytime

i admit d team isnt playing as well as we know it can, its a temporary slump and we ll get over it, good thing its happening early

The Sevilla game is very important tho,.. 3 points at the Sanchez Puzjuan would be massive.
i'd rada we play badly and still com out wit 3pts, seeing how well we played there last season and still lost

This your question even lays more credence to what Goldeno said!
Chelsea are just like the Man A in Goldeno's post! They reached there first luckily and many years later, they can't cross the forest again! Since they won UCL in 2012, how have they fared?
U make it sound like d ucl is child's play, like a competition dat is won easily. Ok if u say Chelsea is man A, which team is man B who has d map and is crossing the forest easily and winning every year. When ucl winners are being mentioned, Chelsea fc will be called, and trust me, nobody (not even uefa) gives a fvck how dey won it, weda dey played well or not, and we all knw their triumph story

The problem is that if we continue to play this way, its only a matter of time before we start losing.
dats a mere hypothetical statement. Haven't we lost games where we played very well? U guys seem to be underestimating the importance of 3pts in football. ure all waiting for us to start losing and den ull come with d "we told u so" line. Football is about winning, that point can't be overemphasized

So Man City is resting easy now? We did what we had to do to win . No one knows how the next match will play out. But we created chances in yesterday's game but the players, for whatever reason, were unable to take advantage. Season is long. Perhaps the players were saving there strength to avoid the recent spate of in-game injuries that have beset the team. Maybe it's a strategy to play with low intensity, maybe it is not. We got 3 points. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see similar game plan against City. 3 points lost wouldn't be a catastrophe. We still top the table regardless.

As it stands now, Sevilla game in Seville is of utmost importance. Lose that game and we might be 5 points behind Madrid, who host Leganes.
Thumbs up

Can't actually believe a barcelona fan will prefer we play well nd lose rather dan play badly nd win. As if a trophy is awarded for playing well

We did not get a point in that Celta Vigo match, so it doesn't qualify as "grind out".

During the last 2 seasons, we won some games while playing badly, I can always remember the excuse I gave - that they are not machines!
But this time around, I'm very concerned because all these bad displays signals one thing - Deterioration! The team is clearly deteriorating! Or do you think the team is improving?
I pointed out dat we didn't get anything out of d celta game. I checked d meaning of deteriorating and i dnt honestly see hw it relates to d current barca team. D team might be going tru a rough patch but dats not an abomination, sh!t happens, we went tru it last season nd still won a double. In yesterday's game, iniesta nd sergio B were not dere, dat wil surely affect our play in d middle. Surely i want us to improve, play better and score more but i dnt see any disaster in d team nonetheless

I started supporting FCB simply because of their good football -something I haven't been seeing recently.

bykebyke is right you know, playing good footy and lossing point is better than playing bad footy and gaining 3point WHY!!!? is like a man "A" who scramble is way through a dense forest without knowing they way and a man "B" who knows the foorest and has the map. man "A" may cross the forest but there is no garanty he will be able to cross it again but man "B" even if he miss is way will alway get back on track with confidence an certainty.

When a team play good footy there is always the confidence that the next match will be better but when a team play any-how footy to win the certainty of the next march is not garantied .....for example look at Mourinho and Guadiola, MOU always played win-any-how possible no map at all, we can see how it always pan out for His teams. they last only one or two seasons.
But Guadiola teams even when they loose, their next opponent is still scare of them -this is how FCB was and this was why I started supporting FCB
Your reason for supporting FCB is what will makethe average nigerian call u an "ashewo fan" because it has a condition attached 2 it. So ull stop supporting FCB once d good football isn't guaranteed anymore?? A good fan is supposed to support d team tru thick n thin, thats by d way

Ur example of a man in a desert has its context which doesn't really apply here, it will only apply wen d reason for both men being in d desert in d first place nd looking for their way out is to win a price, THEN it won't matter weda man A smuggled his way out without a map or not, point is he won. U might not be a mourinho fan bt weda his teams play beautifully or horribly, dey win trophies, which is wat d owners employed him for and is wat history will remember. Even Guardiola's teams dnt play gud football jst to amass possession alone, dey do so to win. Pep himself said this

"I loathe all that passing for the sake of it, all that tiki-taka. It's so much rubbish and has no purpose. You have to pass the ball with a clear intention, with the aim of making it into the opposition's goal. It's not about passing for the sake of it."
Answer dis question honestly;
Do you think history will remember Chelsea for not playing good football enroute their 2012 ucl triumph? Or do you think history will remember Portugal for not winning any match in 90 minutes enroute their euro 2016 triumph?

This is not what you call "grind out"! This was a pot of hot mess.
In grinding out - there is this passion to win the match, for example - against Valencia, that's a perfect example of grinding out results, not this pot of hot mess that we were served today grin
at d end of d day, we got d win, dats my point. Of cos i knw d team played badly but @ d end of d season, if we win d league, this pot of mess would be 3 extra points dat made it possible. Oh u think d valencia game was grinding out, well GOOD bt critics wil still think otherwise cos we didn't win 4-0. they'll rada praise us for fighting back against celta vigo even tho we still lost, and laugh us @ our back

Where did we get this weak mentality from?
see? i knew ull still find fault
i hope u know d way teams approach play wen dey face barca differs frm other teams. Xavi had to bail us out against dis granada team in pep's final season and even the following season, it took us around 80 minutes to score against dis same granada in a hard fought win @ d camp nou, tell me, does it make pep a bad manager? id rather we play badly n get 3pts rather dan play possession football n drop valuable points. Beta appreciate wat we av i lucho who understands d team beta b4 we lose it. man utd are learning d hard way

Yeah
Imagine after 9 matches only 3 points separates the top 6 teams
Villarreal is same points as Barca
Atletico Started the weekend tops and ended it as 5th

Imagine these teams having slush funds like RM and Barca. It would have been tougher to win the league
You can say that again. Plus Sevilla are also doing well in elite europe, think they're tired of setting for europa

The Epl is sure a "money miss road" league, wish la liga teams apart from barca and madrid had that much money
