30 minutes to your appointment time is ok. You would be allowed entry. The biometrics process period depends on the number of people you meet before you. It also depends on where you doing your biometrics.VI center is pretty much faster than Ikeja. Either way, you should be done in one or two hours max.

Please did you submit the hard copies or they were uploaded before going for biometrics?

I have a friend who got her visa within 9 days of Biometrics with Standard Visa Application. I got mine within 12 days as well (last year). Just a tip for everyone who wants to apply for theirs soon. These are the documents I submitted and advised her to submit:

- IELTS (Test certificate not online score)
- Police Certificate (no need for fingerprint)
- TB certificate
- Passport data page
- CoS
- Visa Application Form.
- Statement of Account for PoF (if you're required to)

2.self introduction letter
3. Spouse sponsorship letter
4. Pay slips
5. Marriage certificate
6. Child birth certificate
7. 6 months bank statement
8. Side income contract letters
9. Spouse SOA and bio data page
10. Color coded cover letter explaining inflows and out flows.
11. House documents
Visa outcome was positive.
N.b I stated previous uk and us refusals

Are fixed deposit accounts different from current and savings? I just checked that account and it showed INVAL.ID. Besides first bank accounts usually start from 200.... for current and 300... for savings, please let them educate us

Was at work this evening when a friend informed me that Captain Sa'ad is dead! I couldn't even fathom the situation but he confirmed it.

I underwent NYSC orientation in Niger State, Paiko camp to be more precise

The most popular name on camp was captain Sa'ad, his reputation preceeded him. At his name corpers trembled and fell in line, ensuring they weren't found wanting.

A young but capable officer who served as Camp Commandant. Every platoon that made presentation during the camp nights had something to relate to him.

He was complete fun yet completely stern. We hated him, but we loved him even more. He never hesitated to take photographs with Otondos as long as it was during the free hours.

Even caught a randy married female corper and just when we believed she was gonna be sent home, he pardoned her.

The terrorists have indeed taken a hero off Nigeria's defence but I pray others will spring up and defend this country till we are free from this menace.
