Naijinfos.com is today presenting some of the less competitive courses in Nigerian tertiary institutions for our brothers and sisters who are seeking admission to select. Advantage of this is to avoid a mistake of choosing a high competitive courses that in many cases cost you an admission. Another advantage of this write up is that it highlight some of the professional courses that are neglected by admission seekers because due to lack of career guidance. It will also guide our admission seekers who wish to Change their Jamb course/Institution a chance to choose an appropriate course to avoid previous mistake. 12 Less competitive courses in Nigerian higher institutions 1. Languages : If I say languages I mean our native languages like Hausa, yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Efik and others. With your required credentials it is easy to secure admission into any Nigerian higher institution to study languages. Teaching job and other offers are always available for languages graduates. 2. History: History is one of the underrated courses in our tertiary institutions which make it less competitive and easy to get admission in any higher institution in Nigeria. 3. Surveying : Surveying is one of the most lucrative courses in 21st century. However, it has less competition in Nigerian higher institutions, this may be unconnected with aim of the students to study professional courses like architecture and likes. I recommend this course you because we have less number if quantity surveyors In Nigeria plus high Chance of employment and less admission competition. 4. Agriculture: Agriculture needs no introduction to an average African man. The fact that our people now ignore agric make it less competitive in our Universities. With your required credentials you can easily get admission to study agriculture. The truth is agriculture remains one of the best professional courses on earth surface, with strong ability to be self dependent. 5. Education Courses: Education courses (double honours) are among the less competitive courses in our higher institutions. While honour courses are suppose to have high competition than single honour courses, the reverse is the case. This may be unconnected with strong believe that if you study education you will end up in classroom, which is simply false. Related: See how to Check your 2017 WAEC Result 6. Zoology/Botany : Zoology and Botany are two different branches of Biology. While zoology is the study of animal, botany is concern with the study of plants. May be because zoology is related to “Zoo”, some students assume if you study zoology you will end up in the Zoo, which is also false. Desyner:. I wrote this,l many days ago let me share it with you, may be your brain can work again: When it comes to this matter the real illeteracy of nigerian xtians is exposed 1. All courses from primary to university are being taught in english the languange which nigerian xtians are reading their bible, yet nigerian muslims never cry of chrisanization. 2. Muslims must go to work on fridays but saturdays and sundays are declared weekends for xristians to go churches. Yet no muslim cry of christanization. 3. 70% of federal workers are xtians yet muslims never cry of christanization. 4. Of 16 years of pdp rule: 14 years are for southern xtians and only 2 years are for muslims, yet no single muslim cry christanization of nigeria. The most annoying thing is, the people shouting for this islamization are not even true true xtians they are just politicians. Eg when did ffk become CAN spokeperson? Another annoying thing is the so called men of god (men of money) who are misguiding their gullible and illeterate xtian followers. I wonder what is the meaning of literacy if the so-calle xtians are literates. Joel3:. It is not about Christians and Muslims, it is about north and south, it is about Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo, don't alien it with religion. Muslims are never afraid of secession, it is only polical leaders of this country that are holding us. www.nairaland.com/3852085/what-really-south-east-contribute let me repeat what I said yesterday: It is only in Nigeria that you have Acting President a Christian; Speaker of the House of Representatives a Christian; Finance Minister a Christian; Chief Justice of the Federation a Christian; CBN Governor a Christian; Minister of Petroleum a Christian; Deputy Senate President a Christian; Secretary to the Government of the Federation a Christian; Chief of Defence Staff a Christian; Chief of Naval Staff a Christian; DG of Nigeria Intelligence Agency a Christian, and Head of Civil Service of the Federation a Christian, yet you hear lies and propaganda that the President wants to Islamize the country. Please, what is wrong with our elites? Must they continue to support and enjoy corruption at all cost at the expense of the nation? |
Themandator:. out of point. my question is that, how many Christians in Nigeria can speak Hebrew language talk less of teaching it? |
. Themandator:. For Gods sake, how many Christians in Nigeria know a single with in Hebrew language? It is only in Nigeria that you have Acting President a Christian; Speaker of the House of Representatives a Christian; Finance Minister a Christian; Chief Justice of the Federation a Christian; CBN Governor a Christian; Minister of Petroleum a Christian; Deputy Senate President a Christian; Secretary to the Government of the Federation a Christian; Chief of Defence Staff a Christian; Chief of Naval Staff a Christian; DG of Nigeria Intelligence Agency a Christian, and Head of Civil Service of the Federation a Christian, yet you hear lies and propaganda that the President wants to Islamize the country.
