yes, you re very correct i mostly hibernate my laptop instead of shutting it down, so invariably hibernating a laptop can cause it to crash? any way please can u suggest to me where i can get it replaced and for how much, thnx

hello , recently my dell inspiron m5030 just recently stopped displaying. when i power it on it doesn't display it jus shows the power on light and no booting sound . i took it to cvillage i was told its a processor issue. apparently it came with an AMD core duo processor, and since its a nu generation laptop its rare to find such processors in the market.pls can some one assist me, anyhow,

i recently tried installing oracle 10g client on my win 7 system. initially i installed the plsql software to connect to a db, then i installed the 10g client, every thing went successful but when i tried connecting to the database it keeps flagging an error;
"ORA-12154:TNS", I thought it was a tnsnames.ora error, then i put in the correct parameters as regards the tnsname, but it still keeps giving same.
please can ne one with ideas, assist.

i recently installed SUSE linux 64-bit on vmware on my laptop, which originally runs windows 7. i have some softwre on my win 7, that i need to transfer to my linux and install therein. i tried using a flash drive copying them out of win 7, and mounting it on the linux, but the process is quite slow, and even though i decided to wait it out it never really completes. pls i would appreciate it if some one with a better idea help me out.
