I don’t understand. My friend works in NB already but he applied for this management role and he said he received it last Friday (the form). The ad came out the 1st of this month. Wait, are you saying they applied earlier than the 1st of April?
not really. I think the advert came out on the 3rd of April.

I know I am not supposed to do this but I have no choice.

I have an uncle, who is in his 30s, who though not educated has been doing well financially until he married a lady who made life a living hell for him.

Now he is unable to fend for himself and he is getting depressed by the day.

I will appreciate it if anyone can assist him with a job, he can drive or any other type of job, if possible that comes with accommodation.

I work in one of the financial institutions and I am ready to stand as surety for him.

Please if you are the one God wants to use kindly contact me on 08124890654

I was finally able to do it. Change Highest institution to hnd, fill the spaces and upload your olevel, then change it back to secondary school before you submit.
The problem now is with test. The test platform isn't opening.

Haha. Just as I submitted the reply, the test portal opened and I had to rush and take the test to avoid stories. Got 75%. The questions were fairly easy. I wish I could see the answers cos I'm pretty confident in the answers I gave. I'd like to see the 5 I failed. Plus it was really good I used my lapi to take the test. Had to use my phone as a calculator and to quickly Google some stuff I wasn't sure of. Took me 10mins and I didn't even have to rush or feel any panic.
u just did the test?

Modified

If we can still remember vividly about a post I made some days back concerning how I lose a job because of righteousness. Till now I'm still not at my best mood. But I have decided to move on and trust God for better days ahead. So bro just relax and see God perfect his will.

Op, I empathize with you. But before I state my position, I will need you to answer these:

-.When you said yes, were you asked who the person is?
- Were you asked about the relationship between you and person?
- Was the person even on that panel?
Sure they ask me and I told them.
They didn't, but I told them myself for clarity sake.
He is a junior staff too just like the position I applied for. So he was not there.

I feel you could have answered more smartly, you could have said.. "sir with all due respect, I wonder what that has got to do with my interview" or "yes I know someone working in one of the branches, but my being here has nothing to do with him" or something like that, instead of plainly telling them "Yes" and leaving them to their imaginations.

Better luck soonest tho.

Thanks for this. Although I told them he is just my fellow corps member during my youth service. And he didn't even have idea that I applied for this job. I still don't know why embarassed

We all know getting a job in this country is another hell graduates is going through till date, talk more of getting a dream job.

I will try to be brief as much as I can.

Haven applied for so many jobs and attended some interviews, I finally saw one graduate trainee job (my kind of dream job tho) as at January this year. Although is a banking job which is actually my dream job. I wrote their aptitude test which I passed. We were eight that was invited for their interview out of over 70 candidates that applied and I was lucky to be part of those eight. To the glory of God I scape through at the first stage of the interview. At the Final stage of the interview (One on one interview) was where my righteousness or should I call it "Being Truthful" deprive me of my dream job. You may ask how did I know, but the truth is, that is what deprived me of getting the job. I don't want to explain further on that just to cut the story short.

The question they ask me that lead to my disqualification was: "Do you know anyone in this bank?" And my reply was "Yes". And truly I know someone working there but he wasn't even the one that ask me to apply. I only came across the job and I applied. But I never knew I'm suppose to say NO, I also never knew the answer will snatched the job away from me.

After all the sacrifices, sleepless nights on night journey from one town to another, After almost getting an accident on these our bad road, not to talk of the time and resources I have invested in getting this job. look at my life?
See where my righteousness has brought me into?

Just yesterday some of my colleagues got invitation for their medicals. And since that yesterday I have been so deeply down. I feel depressed. I feel like just giving up. Why me? What is really wrong somewhere that I don't know?Just imaging the kind of opportunity I have missed even when I know age is no longer on my side when it comes to this kind of job...

Honestly I'm tired. I feel like not going to church today. I am confused and feel like it's over. cry
