Tanx for your posts, ihave 2 start dates 2 Aug and 6 Sept,i will be there by next week by God's grace.My job shedule is making it diffcult for me to travel to Lagos.let me wait for one week and see.

I ve contacted them via email,when I didn't get respond from them I realised that I did not include my email in the application form that I filled.am just keeping my fingers crossed hoping that a favourable decision will be made soon.

Are u sure July is the month they take decision on fall session? Mine is d 14th Week dis week.I hope they decide soon because d waiting is slowing down my plans on other options.

Have you asked why most of the violence and terrors are concentrated on improverished and poor countried like Pakistan,Afghanistan,Somalia,Sudan,Northern Nigeria among others. Why is it that Rich Islamic countries Like Saudi,Qatar,
Yemen, Kuwait,Brunie,UAE among others are less free from this violence and Terror.You can draw an analogy from here that poverty and hopelessness Play huge role.

The last email I sent to CDHC was 6 of June this is more than 2 weeks now that is why I sent onother one today.It seems they do it batch by batch because the auto reply I got then was that they are attending to June now its july in the next 2 weeks it will be for August.

I ve contacted d second time today,while the first time I got a auto reply saying “auto reply out of office". This time around there was no auto reply am wondering why.Do u have any observation on this?

I sent them an email 7 days back but no reply from them yet, i intend to go to the commission after 2 weeks of sending the email.I would like to know what days they attend to enquiries as i based in Abuja.In my case a Lady called me on 9th of May asking me about where i work and my sponsor, she said she would like to know where i work as the details is missing in my file,am wondering why, because i submitted my employment letter and in the form that i filled i gave enough details about where i work.I felt may be she is trying to confirm if am actually working where i claimed.
This is more than a month after the call not yet from them.

Today marks 60 working days since i submitted my application yet no information from CDHC.It seems as if am the only one waiting this long,is there anyone that has been waiting like me? My school starts August 2nd, is the time left still enough? Please experienced guys here i need your contributions.

Am so happy for, i pray your medicals turn out successfully. you are really fortunate to get you medical call ahead of some of us who submitted earlier. when is your resumption date at your school?

I have a feeling that we are all going to be called for medical soon, the experience of kingsley has given me more hope,but what i dont understand here is that it is usually Medicals then interview but in kingsley case just interview, what do you guys deduce from this scenario?.

Pls @Ayoalade, @delta, @all, u guys are doing a wonderful work on this forum. I want u guys to advise me on this matter.
At about 3pm on tuesday i met a missed call on my fone. I tried calling back, i later realised d call was from the canadian visa office in lagos here and they dont entertain phone calls. Last wk makes it d 10th wk i applied for a study permit. Since on tuesday i ve being waiting for their call they refuse 2 call back. Pls tell me what 2 do. Any body in the house that has an idea should enlighten me. Why do u think they were calling instead of them 2 contact me thru sms or email


My case is the same as your,I submitted my application 9 weeks ago, am to start by August, they called me on the 9 may and they asked about my sponsor and where i work,thay was what they asked me.Since then i have not heard from them. May be later i will call them to ask

did you mean that it was your uncle or your uncle's company that is sponsoring you, to me,there is nothing wrong using your uncles company as your sponsor as long as you can convince the VO why the company is investing on you.if you had taken your time to read through the trend, you will come across a guy whose resumption was in august and he was advised to do a mail and also get to the embassy to lay his complain and when he did that, guess what, they thought his start date was in sept and that was why they were delaying him, be patient and pray,the month of June holds something good for you.The ball is in your court, SUCCESS AND GOD'S FAVOR

Could you please tell us the exact questions they asked you about your sponsor so that we can put heads together and figure things out.

She asked me where i am working and who is my sponsor that just what she asked. My sponsor is a different company from the company where i work.I used my uncle's company as my sponsor. Is it wrong to use a different company as a sponsor ,if you work with another company?

Hello House, am new here just across this great place lately.Please can someone tell how long it takes to get a study permit.I submitted my application on the 23rd of March and it got to CDHC on the 24th of March.I got a call from a lady asking me about my sponsor on 9th of May since then i have not heard from them.My School starts 2 August,is there hope for me,is the call a sign of hope? Please experience member explain to me,
