History has it that most of the people who has this title in our lands turned out as the worst cowards. Afonja, MKO all died in shame.
You think that is cowardice.Go and study your history again.Iku ogun nii pa akikanju.Thank God they dont run away like ojukwu and nnamdi kanu.

u're wrong!
Babasuwe was neva overrated, wen he was @ its peak...he was second to none.
He was TO ME.

it was because no one was competing with him then.when latin came on board, although he actually mentored latin, his popularity gradually start decline. These are babasuwe methodology:

1.pronouncing english word poorly to sound funny The most stupid is calling london "gandon"

2.Crying like a baby when unpleased to look funny.

3.Abusing people to sound funny.

4.Singing and dancing hip hop or behaving like a young adult. He thinks people will find an adult behaving like a child funny or a local old man dancing hip hop or behaving like a child funny.

5.Painting himself black and wearing costume kerdigan.

Latin and muyiwa adegoke will be making a normal conversation, making sense and still be funny without wearing costume. The new generation of comedians are trying to take after them not after babasuwe.people like lanko, ijebu, kolade odunlade and sanyeri.

listen to muyiwa adegoke, you will learn thr use of yoruba language and laugh your ass off.

If he had to drink that poison to make sure he won the case and make all his generation live and enjoy good life then I think he's a brave man (abi u won do case with a dead man?)...lolz he's better than that sophisticated soldier that left his beloved ppl when they needed him most and caused them total famine and death. Instead of him to rather die to liberate his ppl as he promised the coward ran away... and yet another albino is towing his path. God help u ppl
...
I still find it funny how some ppl still claim his their number 1hero.
You too self dey fall hand.

A 78yr old drank poison for what?

Igbo race just want something to allay the humiliation the bravest man in igbo history,a runaway general ojukwu, suffered from Awolowo,a bloody civilian.

Ojukwu later described Awolowo as the best president Nigeria never had.

Ordinarily Igbo has opportunity within the next five years to groom someone with influence across the ethnic divide. The person who enjoys respect now is Ken Nnamani. There is no dirt on him and he hasn't made much enemies. Foreign Minister Onyeama has played behind-the-scenes roles in packaging successful international and multi national agreements for PMB. But he is not a politician. Mr. Ekweeemadu doesn't have the clout, not even when PDP was in power. Okorocha is not trsusted in Imo State where he is governor.
Ken nnamani has no dirt in himgrin

Tinubu the tissue paper. Yoruba's always used and dumped by their Fulani lords. What baffles me is that they will never learn from history. Anyways that's their cup of tea.

*spits on all afonjas for bringing this calamity called buhari.*
Like hausa fulanu used nnamdi azikwe and dumped him by fighting civil war against his peoplegrin.Like sheu shagari used and dumped alex ekwueme in 1979 and made ojukwu to loose ordinary senatorial election in 1983grin.The way Abacha used arthur nzeribe in 1990s but transfer power tp yorubas via abdulsalaam abubaker in 1999 grin.Nigeria politics is beyond GEJ loss in 2015 election.Real tissue paper in Nigeria politics know themselves.grin grin grin

Bases on my own observation,Dele momodu is always wrong on his political prophecies, calculations and permutations and understanding of politicians body language. The same way he thought he could become the president at a time.Bisi akande statement could also mean they are stylishly giving atiku abubakre go ahead to challenge Buhari at the primary election.I dont think tinubu will be so daft to think northerners will allow a southerner to rule in 2019 after the south has ruled for 14years out of 18years.

Meanwhile from the tribe that thinks anything opposite to southwest stand is the best even if its not reasonable and not in the interest of their people: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/01/igbo-apc-leaders-rebuff-obasanjo-endorse-buhari-2019/

Brov. The area where that pix you posted was taken had been in existence before you were born. It's evidence of an ancient city. Compare it's mordenization with other newer cities even states then you will appreciate Ibadan.
Those guys are unintelligent.

The modern part of ibadan is bigger than that of any city in Nigeria including the overhyped portharcourt except abuja and lagos. And also has bigger brown roofs old part than any other cities, because at a time when ibadan and kano were called cities, other Nigerian cities were called towns and villages!

Abuja ,lagos and ibadan are the only cities in Nigeria with central business districts

The last time someone tried to open portharcourt pictures thread,I was so dissappointed.

frankly speaking, I like Ibadan. I intentionally relocated from Lagos to Ibadan in 2012.
Cost of living is very cheap. What is annoying me about that city is Its dirtiness.
Ibadan is one (if not the dirtiest) of the dirtiest cities in Nigeria. Who then are to be blame? 80% of the blame goes to the Govt. while the residents take the remaining 20%. This is as a result of the irresponsible people that have been in governance in the state, especially, the present administration.

May I use this medium to advise the Oyo State Govt to go to Lagos State to learn good governance.
Ibadan is not the dirtiest city in Nigeria.

for condemning Ajimobi on Ibadan.definitely you've not relocated to ibadan when akala and ladoja ruled the state. The only aspect ajimobi has failed are lautech issue,Arrogance and poor salary payment.I reside in this, long before you relocated in 2012,The last time ibadan experienced real growth apart of ajimobi time was during awolowo and bola ige regime!

I moved to Ibadan from Lagos last year and I don't regret it. First and foremost, no traffic. Lagos traffic almost drove me crazy...driving from surulere to Egbeda and spending 4 hours on the road.

Also, the cost of the living here is low compared to Lagos, and it has a lot of the same facilities as Lagos...Parks, Malls (Two Ventura Malls, Three Malls with Shoprite, and one De Palms), Clubs...I am at Platinum Club in Ibadan right now.

Fresh air...no polution like Lagos. Cheap food and fruits, accomodative people...all my neighbors are Deltans and Benin people, and they are landlords.

It is just such a great city.
mY own neighbors are senegalese!

They are many here in agbowo axis and fvcking rich!

These are old pictures. Ibadan has no good roads presently. Highly disappointed with the present government for such a huge amount of neglect towards the maintenance of the roads.
I reside in the city and I disagree with you.Ibadan fastest growth since 1999 happened under Ajimobi especially with his standard 6 lanes roads, security with his "operation burst",increased FDI(5 shopping mall, largest palm oil refinary etc) and road markings. There is nothing like road markings in Ibadan before ajimobi came on board. If you want to slam him for LAUTECH issue and poor salary payment,I will totally agree with you on that!

To a lot of upstarts, Lagos seems to be a heaven.
