Juliusmalema: Nice write up
Ekweremmadu wants to be vice president
Can't u see he is a greedy man. Where is the greed? Igbos owe ekwremadu a big gratitude. It was his zoning recommendation that made igbo VP sacrosanct otherwise yorubas would have highjacked it. But since Obi is favored, he should calm down. I recommend he negotiate with buhari and move to APC in case buhari wins again then he will likely emerge Senate president since saraki is now in PDP. Let us not assume that Atiku has already won. We can't afford to put all our eggs in one basket again |

nnamdijonathan: How many people even have their PVCs in Ebonyi state? Disturbing ourselves over the number of votes from Ebonyi is total waste of time. Lol. One vote can win or lose election |

nnamdijonathan: May God bless you. I have been following all their annoying comments here against Nnamdi KANU, one even said he was released by Buhari. No election was declared by Nnamdi Kanu even before Atiku decamped to PDP so why would a person who claimed to be very updated say that NK is working for APC? NK speech this evening is an automatic loss for that AtikuObituary or whatever you call him and his running mate. Atiku should not waste much money on campaigns because, he is going back to Adamawa in 2019. No matter how bad you feel NK's speech was, it will surly have its effect on over 20% of all PVC holders in the east and that is "bye bye" to Atiku in 2019 because, Buhari's supporters are solidly behind him while Atiku just lost over 20% of his' without any hope of getting any reasonable amount of votes from the SW. I humbly declare #AtikuObituary dead on arrival after today. Wailing on nairaland can't save #AtikuObituary come 2019. Atikus ambition is not a SE affair |

Funnicator: And? How powerful and influential will Obi be in the constituted government to ensure we get massive infrastructural deals and not get relegated by Wike-controlled Atiku?
Hope he won't be another Osunbade that will just be a common errand runner?
Trust me if SW didn't have minister of finance, minister for works and housing and couple others osinbajo wouldn't have stopped north from relegating Tinubu and sw in the scheme of things.
We shouldn't have a osinbade representing us, just in case we don't land our preferred parastatals such as transport, he may be of strong influence in drawing us our needed infrastructure
(Niger bridge, AIIA, Rail tracks, FG roads). Remember ekwueme era. Don't under rate the power of vp. Wike was neutralozed in PH how much more in abuja |

Funnicator: What are our deals with Atiku?
Our votes in exchange for VP position only?
If that is the cut then SHAME on us.
The cut must not end with VP position.
We also demand full and complete upgrade of Enugu airport. Enugu-onitsha and enugu-aba. As well as link of Aba-onitsha-owerri-enugu-abakaliki by rail tracks.
These are what responsible SE leaders will demand not just VP position.
Shame on them if anything beyond this. Whatever deal you have can easily be reneged unless you plant powerful people in the administration |

Why are you crying on my neck this inferior low class wawa igbo.
Obi has visited Abia, Ebonyi, and others dignitaries. Enugu visit was the last. And presently he is in Anambra to meet the real Igbos from there he go to Onitsha where he stays. Enugu people are inconsequential that was why Ekweremmadu was dumped.lol
Enugu airport is a local airport, it is a useless airport without air traffic. Ordinary Owerri airport has by far more traffic. Attention whoring troll. Get a job |

Funnicator: Wike has carried out his threat of "dealing with PDP"
SE delegates massively voted for Atiku after they reached on some consensus before the primary election based on
"Key parastatals" "VP position "Single tenure and handing over to SE in 2023". Wike made attempts to bring SE delegates into meeting and have them vote Tambuwal, the meetings were not honored.
Atiku emerged winner.
In order to carry along the main financer of the party and the state of the party chairman along, he worked with Wike and Secondus to select Obi and I am sure some government positions and parastatals may have been ceded to Wike to select when government is being constituted; in compensation to get his support and alongside that of SS PDP.
Igbo people naturally have no respect for leaders so Obi failed to consult with SE PDP delegates lest that they substitute him with another.
Selfish desires took over Obi so he hastily accepted the position whole heartedly.
SE leaders saw the acceptance on media and got infuriated they were used to win primaries and afterward got dumped maybe because to Wike and Atiku, we don't finance the party and also our 5 percent vote can be won with VP position given to any South easterner. Regardless if he was annointed by us or not.
If Atiku could do this before elections proper.
Then Wike and Secondus may be in control of his government when he wins. Trust me, Wike will deal with SE more than amaechi deals with SE via Ph airport.
Remember, Wike threatened to deal with pdp if they disrespect him. I think he's carrying it out on the SE PDP. One need to comprise where necessary at least till you get what you want. Once obi takes his office wike will be neutralised |

Atiku emergence favours obi. Saraki emergence would have favoured ekweremadu. Ekweremadu needs to shut up and join the moving train. We stand with Obi |

onuebonyi: You are very correct. PH is truly the capital of SE and SS. PH international airport is for the SE and SS. Enugu and Yola will be concessioned by Atiku Ph-maiduguri rail will be modernised passing through aba and Enugu the heart of igboland. Even as we speak Peter obi has literally relocated to Enugu for all negotiations towards his acceptance as vp candidate |

oyatz: The FG can build an International Airport (in name) BUT can't force international air traffic on the said airport.
Economic forces determine the volumr of air traffic. In truth, there are only three and a half airports international airports in Nigeria located in ; 1) Lagos=> Commercial capital 2) Abuja=> Seat of Government 3) Kano=>Islamic Pilgrimage Half In't Airport )Port Harcourt=> Oil city Enugu-SE capital. FG can't have airport in every village. |

WHO IS AN AIRPORT IN PORT HARCOURT MEANT TO SERVE?
THE ATLANTIC OCEAN?
ENUGU IS AN INTERNATIONAL AVIATION HUB BECOS IT HAS THE PROSPECTS OF PROVIDING RELIEF TO LANDLOCKED COMMUNITIES BOTH IN THE SOUTH EAST AND THE NORTH EAST CENTRAL.
THIS IS Y A SECOND TERMINAL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF NSUKKA IS CRITICALLY NEEDED.
THE AIRPORT WILL NOT JUST SERVE THE LANDLOCKED SOUTHEAST BUT ALSO, KOGI, BENUE, TARABA ETC.
I hope Chino, Abagworo, Omanbala, Globemoney, NnamdiJonathan CJRANE, investnow2013, spyder880, ILoveAnambra Raker300 Ezeagu pazienza have noted this Enugu and Aba remain the most strategically located igbo cities. IkpuMmadu: Its simple, Asaba shares it with Owerri and Enugu ..Owerri is high because Owerri is a tourijst city ans Asaba is just ripping off Onitsha and also Deltans aren't known to always visit home ...i know this.....for a long time Owerri airport would be busy Kano route into SE was given to owerri. It's not those things you are saying. Same way enugu got all international route into SE. These are govt policies and not the economic strength of the city. |

IkpuMmadu: Where I come from Anambra I could remember people contributing money to build churches , hospitals , schools and even tar their roads ! They assist each other ..go to places like OraUkwu , Awkaetiti , Orsumenyi and Nnewi environs they compete with titles like onwa Na etiri it's and ochiri ozuo....these are titles for men that have made impacts in their towns ....till date Anambra man still brags and ask you how many people have you trained
In Anambra they understand the group economics and group efforts ...we don't wait government to give us electrification....this is what the Ebonyi man has refused to understand
Even till date they hate education..go to izaa , and other inward places and you would see
They the Ebonyi must look inward and know that they had the opportunity...Akuanu Ibiam was there ...I can't even remember anything we Anambra did that was bad..the eastern capital Enugu was in their zone , it was if recent that Anambra had Awka ...Afikpo has always been a district
So what do they want. They must measure up ....look at Enugu has come up Your last sentence is what people like chino don't know. Enugu is no longer the Enugu of the 60s anf 70s |
Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 7:40pm On Oct 20, 2018 |

There are more rich population in Imo than there are in Enugu state. I am talking of indigenes now Why is Asaba not the highest since anabala "bilonaires" use it |

Do you know why the airport was left to rot away? It is because they want the Ethiopia airline to withdrew. For more than 5yrs, it is just one airline and that tells you that the FG is interested in it? Enugu airport run way has gone from bad to worse, Ethiopia will pull out soon. Better than bush clearing for decades |

Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 5:28pm On Oct 20, 2018 |

Even if Atiku-Obi succeeds I trust Obi because he knows the economics of investment. Any investment that cannot pay for itself is not worth it----that is Obi for you. E go do you like film. Obi is not a villager like you. You need to understand that. He knows the ripple effect the airport will create on anambra. Politics › Re: . by basilo101: 5:25pm On Oct 20, 2018 |
onuebonyi: LOL..that is why the airport is now allowed to rot. Now FG has left it behind because other Igbo states understood the politics behind it. Owerri airport traffic is more than twice Enugu airport traffic. The enugu airport has been abandoned, so it is now left for your state govt to take it and run as a local airport. Enugu remain the only FG recognized international air route into SE. Igbo states can go an die. The airport is FG property for the whole world to use |
