Why do u guys like to drag anambra to pieces?

Why are u guys he'll bent on splitting this small state further?

Kedu ife na-eme unu...?

Oochim...
Anambra is the most pieces state in the east. I am not agitating for a new state to come from there. Just pointing out that it is a mere geographical expression contrary to monolithic claims. It will interest you to know that my ihiala friend is onyekwere instead of onyekwelu

I totally agree with you. This is the first 5-star or even 7-star hotel to open in the SE.
Lol @ 7star

It is a 5 star hotel and the only one in the SE. The building aesthetically and architecturally on point and 21st century design, the interior is dope and super. 5-star facilities has SPECs and this facility has the specs. It is presently the best in the SE.

Nike lake is now a poultry farm, stop crying enviously here like a mad man.

Which authority rated it as such? This an ugly Scottish matchbox as someone said earlier. The dope interior is courtesy of Golden Tulip. It would have been another village sitting room if done by ANSG

I am not saying you cant make your mother farmland a state but please leave Anambra out of it. No propaganda can ever cut an inch out of Anambra. Even if Nigeria go regionalism Anambra will remain as it is. I will support you with even money to create whatever you want but the thought of partitioning Anambra can send you to an early grave. BE WARNED!!
I hope you know anambra is very heterogenous. Anambra is not a people as most of you try to claim. Ihiala is 100% Imo stock and if they want form new state with their orlu kith and kin you can't stop them. In anambra every town is distinct and have little or nothing in common with a neighboring town. So be warned. You only speak for your town. This different in Enugu where the whole state is made up of only 5 groups: Nsukka, Udi, Nkanu, Awgu and Oji. With Nsukka accounting for nearly 50% of the state in both population and landmass it is unarguably the largest igbo sub group. Anambra is just a mere geographical expression

Please stop, the design is quite good. This is actually the first truly 5-star hotel to berth in the southeast Nigeria. GT has done wonderfully well with the facility. It is a new dawn for hospitality industry in the southeast. Dalu
How can you call this thing a 5 star facility? And claim it's best in SE? Must you all always do this? This building has zero architectural sophistication and aesthetic appeal

Easy to assert in the abstract. Prevailing realities are very different and the fact remains, in the whole of ala Igbo, no single prominent son running for elective office supports the Biafran cause. I've been asked a few times here what I have done to progress Igbos because I was critical of IPOB. Maybe I should start asking why all these people with their radical solutions don't seem to be running for even their Ward councillorships to make a real difference. Then I would really start believing they have real plans, rather than vague abstractions.
If you think their methods are bad start your own good methods

Why would you "hate" Umahi because he does not share your Biafran vision? Which Igbo governor, senator, Reps member or even LGA chairman has a different stand on Biafra from Umahi? Why would he support a fruitless venture that would impoverish his own state which generates barely N5billion a year in IGR? You're the one that will pay his workers' salaries or give him money for projects, abi? You think Governors have the luxury of agitations without practical considerations?
He can generate over 100billion if given power over mineral deposit in his state but abuja has declared it exclusive list

I recall that some people who joined Army in the early 60's, which is around the time Buhari joined, were not required to have maths. Also, the standards were lowered then so as to allow the North, who were educationally backwards to the South, enter the civil service.
Recommendation letter with which buhari joined the army clearly promised that buhari would credit English and maths. Since he later failed maths he should have withdrawn. He is not even supposed to enter with mere recommendation letter in the first place

It won't cause any gbege unless igbos want to make trouble. It's clear that Atiku can't be President of this country, and to make it worse, he chose an igbo VP. How would he win?

Anybody that forments trouble next year will be dealt with severely. If igbos want to go to war because of Atiku, I wish them well.

BTW, there is a syndicate that specialises in arrainging these awards but it costs a lot and yo have to have looted enough funds to pay ebough money to cover even the Mayor and other individuals involved, not to talk of the "Endowment' you have to make to the city.... to make everyobody happy.

That suspicion wasn't about Midwest Igbo's participation (a Mid-West Igbo was already the first Premier of the Region) but against Ojukwu's motives.
This served as an impetus for majority of the peoples of the Mid-West and Western Regions to rally round and supported the Federal side.Prior to the invasion, they were neutral.

With that invasion, the international communities started seeing the Biafra struggles as 'bands of militants/rebels' who wanted to overthrow the Government of Nigeria

If Ojukwu had driven out the Federal forces from Biafra and manned the borders effectively to ward off possible attacks from the Federal forces, many international powers would have sided Biafra or remain neutral.
So what was ojukwu's motives? Igbo domination? Was ojukwu there when osadebe became premier? Look at how Nigeria has become a mess because lazy people prefer suspicion to merit. Even till today anioma remain the highest achievers in the old Midwest

My first Statement was that Biafra INVADED Midwest and as corroborating fact, Ojukwu went ahead to appoint an Igbo officer over them as a Military Administrator (fueling the already tensed suspicions against the motives of Ojukwu and Igbos)
So what's your point? Midwest Igbos should not participate in Midwest politics to calm suspicion or what? This nonsense suspicion is why Nigeria remain backward. Instead of others to work hard and be better qualified they take to stvpid suspicions

You are replying from a fixed mindset which makes it difficult for you to view things from other (and equally valid) perspectives.

It was difficult for the Midwesterners to accept that the 'President of Biafra', Gen Ojukwu appointed a Governor over them after Biafrans forces have invaded their State and sacked their Government.

In a similar way, it was difficult for Ukpabi Asika, whom Gen Gowon had appointed to function as the Administrator of East Central State in Enugu, rather he was 'ruling' from Lagos, then moved to P/Harcourt towards the end of the war before finally moving to Enugu.

Till today, many igbos hate Ukpabi Asika for accepting the appointment.
You are clearly shifting the goalpost. Your problem initially was not the fact that he was appointed by ojukwu but because he was igbo.
