As usual... Play the "you're destroying your land card". The truth is the land is already destroyed so you all should stop using that line. Nigeria's problem is structural and till we all come to agree on the issues that affect us, we'll keep running round in circles. Again, I know Buhari can't deliver on the current useless change agenda, there's no arguing that and if the NDA can make him get his thinking hats on, it's all good for the country. |

DropShot: How? It's attitude. Times are harder for majority of Nigerians, cost of most goods and services will increase in days. Since more money would now be available to the FG, I thought I'd hear of plans to increase the minimum wage of the Nigerian worker cause their purchasing power has now been reduced by this increase. You can't just tell the people to endure the pain if you can actually do something to lighten their yoke. |

bejeiodus: This is not about being anti-Buhari. Any objective observer would see that there is a tinge of persecution in the trial of the Senate President....Those who seek to hang Saraki by the neck have as much baggage as he does. So why the sanctimonious posturing? There is no similitude between what is happening to Rouseeff and what is happening to Saraki. Besides, each nation has its own political peculiarities. Politics is all about intrest and the earlier you understand that Saraki has built enough bridges to take care of his interest the better you will understand how difficult it is to unseat him. True, there are many way to skin a cat, but Saraki is a cat with nine lives! Haha! I like that line. |

obailala: I was simple clarifying to you why the power generation dropped drastically when it did. It is left for Buharu to take appropriate steps to checkmate the economic saboteurs going forward. You weren't clarifying nothing, you said Buhari can do nothing about it. That line "and there's nothing Buhari can do about that" just shows the kind of people supporting this government. He has their support even if he does nothing, That's good to hear, anyway. |
Politics › Re: EXCLUSIVE | Nigeria Goes Broke: FG Exchanging Crude Oil For Refined Petrol by Bassee(m): 5:40pm On May 09, 2016 |
obailala: When you continue praising and glorifying people blowing up pipelines taking gas to power stations, power will continue to drop, and there's nothing buhari can do about that. Kontinuu! In countries with servant leaders, every problem is to be solved. But in Nigeria, we have people who justify inaction. Shame! So if the vandals go on till 2019, Buhari will be right to campaign saying, "sorry Nigerians, no power for you because you've refused to fight the vandals". Just how pathetic! |

amaechi1: I hear much of this tyrant. Please, what has made PMB a tyrant? If man should stand firmly on his principle would classify him as tyrant, I think we would have had that tyrant long before now to avoid this [b[culture[/b] of impunity that has perverted our society. Yes we need this culture of power dropping to 0MW, fuel scarcity persisting for weeks with no sound from the presidency, cost of living of the average Nigerian hitting the roof. The Buhari story will be a lesson to all Nigerians. Next time we'll request that he explains what he means by "change" |

bigboss80s: There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. As a matter fact this is exactly what should a have been done all along. when you take cash out of the equation it starves corruption. This is the same thing Buhari did when he was head of state. Nigeria exchanged crude oil for medical supplies, etc. Good job! And how successful was his tyrannical military rule |

PiccoloBrunelli: Christ!!!! At least tell me that part I bolded isn't true. Is this regime really that callous?
Still waiting for PMB to tell us this was all a joke all along...that he really isn't the President...that Satan himself has been ruling us all along.... How is that shocking? PMB padded the budget to settle his friends who helped him get to that seat, Did he inform Nigerians when he did that? He says he's refused to remove subsidy but Nigerians thank God for buying fuel at the official price, has anything been communicated to Nigerians? This government is a one man squad that's on the road to destruction. It's just unfortunate the destinies of Nigeria and Nigerians are the casualties |

maclatunji: Fulani do not respect borders. Nigeria breaking-up will not solve the problem.
In fact it will make it worse because the successor states would be weak and in the power vacuum, non-state actors like militant Fulani herdsmen would hold sway.
Current conflicts will be like a joke compared to what will happen then. They do respect borders. They just have zero respect for communities with weak and ineffective security systems. |
