Apart from the fact that the grammars are so confusing, they are not needed when you are suppose to be writing a simple apologetic letter.

First a letter of apology must start with a sentence stating the apology at least in a line or 2 before explanation and then the conclusion buttress the apology.
Let Nigerians learn that you do not need grammar to communicate, it neither makes you smart or well trained... we can see from Obama and Romney debate.. though they only speak one language which is English, they never and would hardly abuse the English language with grammatical hypocrisy.
