There's something I like about Barcelona's victory over PSG. Some say the referee played a part. But if football is unpredictable as life itself, then those with serial winner mentality can force the rules to bend at all cause to give them what they want. That's what Barca did and it is what those with serial winner mentality do in real life. Are you a serial winner?

Nairaland GeneralMy Heroes And Villains Of The Year So Far by basti1212(op): 9:24pm On Jun 22, 2017
The son of Wes Ham United Football Club co-owner, David Sullivan tops the list of heroes. What did he do? The Manchester arena blast of last month produced an unlikely hero, a homeless beggar, who helped pulled nails from faces of injured children before the paramedics arrived. People came to his aid by donating about 31,000 pounds for him. David Sullivan Jr. volunteered to rent an apartment for six months for him. He has really tried because it looks like British don't know how to give. The homeless beggar, Stephen Jones, came second in the heroes' list. At just 35 years, he found himself homeless and begging on the streets of England - one of the most developed countries in the world. This means there is no place called "heaven" on earth. We should take note and learn. A 25 year old lady that went for plastic surgery tops the villains' list. CrimeUnrest In The Streets Of Eket As Bakassi Boys Rule The Roost. by basti1212(op): 3:32pm On Mar 17, 2017
No one knows the name given to them yet. Since they go about with matchets, charms and dressed in no particular uniform -- people has assumed they are "Bakassi boys". What is their mission? Who is sponsoring them?
One thing I'll you tell is if you are coming to this oil rich city, don't carry dreadlocks or big beards, if you are a male. And don't display tattoo on your body-- both male and female. If you have killed someone before or you are from the underworld, don't travel by night. If you do, their charms will signal and their matchets will go... red, red. Those with dreadlocks and big beards are shaved when caught. If you have tattoos, knife and sand paper are used to scrape it from you. What a shame. Is this lawful. Treating people like animals and violating people's right in the name of fighting crime is such a backward approach. I heard the new paramount ruler is the brain behind this.

I've been a blogger for many years and from my experience, you will need money, time and persistence to make a few bug online. For example, before someone contact you for a job at fiverr, you will need to post the previous job you,ve done and your experience in the job. Or else you won't get any offer. This is applicable to other sites like fiverr. For affilliate marketing, I've involved with clickbank for sometime now and I know what's right. Free ads will not give you what you want! Most free ads are baits for you to purchase their paid ads. One will need paid ads to succeed though most ads package are not expensive. I'm highly against misleading people, especially at this time.

Georgeray1234:
Beauty Queen, Miss Ambassador for Peace Nigeria was almost at the point of hanging herself as her book launch recorded low turnout.

We learnt that the book launch held in Abuja, turned out to have low turnout due the fact that the queen is not so popular...

According to Abujareporters Blog, we learnt that the queen lost faith when the few attendants failed to donate money for the book launch...
If the book is good, it will sell out though with time. Launching a book or any other thing does not mean you will a whole lot of money. You are just trying to create awareness and let people know its availability. Most times the money you make that day is nothing compare to what you will make in future. So let her have patience. By the way, what is the book about? Writing a book is not moi moi. It is more important than that her so call crown.

LiteratureGet Inspired By The Characters In "In Eight Months' Time"- A Book Review(prt.3) by basti1212(op): 12:21am On Feb 19, 2017
Levy comes in as the third character - a black teenage boy with parents of mixed races. He had two siblings - one later married Jimmy Robert. Levy could be described in these words; stoic, believe a lot in life's values - respect, perseverance, pick yourself up in difficulties, compete, keep going.
At 19, he discovered he had a problem that existed since he was a child. Soon, the boy that has been enjoying and living his life just like every other boy his age was faced with a shock reality. Levy decided to tackle his problem the best way possible. He decided to take action, to take positive steps. The act of self mastery had begun!
When faced with problems, difficulties. Do you sit fat in your right and cry over it? Do you leave it to fate? Or, do you look for pragmatic ways to solve your problem and stop worrying about it? Remember worrying about a problem will not help you solve the problem but will only make you weak to face it when the problem finally comes. If atall it will come.
When you worry over a problem, it makes your heart wants to drop. At the end, you find out that you were just wasting your time over sometime that was baseless. Remember also no matter how hopeless your situation may look, something can still be done to better it. Don't you ever forget that!
In an attempt to find a lasting solution to his problem, Levy came to discover things he would never have and consequently came face to face with danger and the life of many depended on his survival.
Levy and Andy Tod had similarities - they were masters of their selves. One striking different Levy had from Andy Todd was that he had good conscience.
There are other characters like Sarah, Levy's elder sister, who went about her life thinking everyone were simple at heart like her. Oh, if only she had paid attention to little things and ask questions, she would have changed the course of events that was programmed to bring pains. Sometimes, it is the little things that we fail to pay attention to that would have made all the positive difference in life. And detective Frank - a find investigative police officer who found himself trapped in an investigation that was heading nowhere simply because he did not know how to head himself. It seems these characters wanted to entertain as well as inspire with one or two lessons but how well that will go is not of them to decide.
LiteratureGet Inspired By The Characters In "In Eight Months' Time"- Book Review(prt.3) by basti1212(op): 2:23am On Feb 14, 2017
The next character is Jimmy Robert - an African American who graduated from the prestigious Harvard business school. He was young and handsome, easily liked by women. Jimmy was one man that enjoyed the company of women and the future looked bright in all aspects for him. But just a day encounter with Andy Todd changed all that he ever believed in. The coming together of these two men showed a classic example of who mastered himself and who did not. They had not known each other or met before except that afternoon in the subway. How then was mr. Todd able to change his views and believes all in one day encounter? The answer must lie in who these two men were. Don't you think so?
Andy Todd wanted Jimmy Robert to conform to his way of life and view life from his angle. Though Jimmy offered initial resistance but he gave in even though he knew it was not based upon justice and fairness toward others. He also knew it would mean betraying his love ones. And yet he could not resist. Why? Why did his resistance wear off? Maybe Jimmy Robert was not sure of what he had believed in all this while. You need to know what you want out of life, have a concrete plan and how to execute your plans to achieve what you want. And you also need to constantly review your stance on your plans and how to execute them. Or else people, situations will push you around. They will detect the direction while you follow. This is what happen when you do not master yourself. It will be extremely difficult for a man who has mastered himself to be pushed around by people or situations. How true is that statement? Keep in touch for the continuation. Bye!
LiteratureGet Inspired By The Characters In "In Eight Months' Time" - A Book Review(prt.2) by basti1212(op): 2:57am On Feb 10, 2017
Remember Andy Tod was someone who had great control over his life; spirit, soul and body. He was a firm believer in his abilities - a great thinker. And, by far he is the humblest character in his assumed world. You should understand that without his brain, his vision, his stubbornness and his daring the storyline in this his so call assumed world would never have happened.
When he had an encounter with a spirit called Elm, it did not happen by chance. It happened because of who he was - not just because he was a meta-physicist. But because of his deep lying interest of doing things nobody else around him does.
In the law of nature, you can only attract what has your interest or what is like you. Have you ever wonder why negative things happen around you? The answer may not be far fetched. It could be in your mind set. It could be you've built a wall of negativity around you - you are thinking, seeing and hearing negative things. Those things will in time manifest in real life things causing you pains. In the same way, if you think positive, build a positive wall around you. You begin to see positive things happening around you - things that can make you smile and relax. When what you want in life is aligned with the force of nature, you can be rest assure you will have it wrapped with peace and harmony. Or you can still force it to happen even if it does not align with the force of nature like Andy Todd did. But the end of it will be disastrous.
The world was built on the foundation of love. Note that love is positive, love is bold. Anything that you build or create that does not portray love, impart the people positively means you've failed in making the world a better place than you met.
Terrorists, suicide bombers, kidnappers, etc are busying creating something but the sad reality is they are only destroying the world.
The whole truth is, if we do not do things that will affect others positively , that thing will rise against us in the long run no matter how big or small it is. Andy Todd - this imaginative creation that lords over his fictive world is a classic example.
Keep in touch for the continuation, bye for now.
