montelik:we gonna bounce back. its all good [flash=400,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZJyvBolGBM?fs=1&hl=en_US"[/flash] even the GOP has to be embarrassed at what some radicals have turned the party to these nuts won't even let me jack off anymore ![]() |
JeSoul:i have my moments from time to time ![]() Secondly, you make good points when you say there aren't really that many 'new' alternatives or "ideas" coming from the ABE guys, but I point to the mess that is the country now - Bawo what have the established geniuses that went to Harvard done for us? I am willing to give the nobody's a shot. What have we got to loose?we are in a mess now but who says those ivy leaguers can't get us out of this money or the ABE folks can get us out. obama had ideas and didn't rely soley on empty rhetoric like most of these abe guys (although he has sold out on lots of his promises). history has shown the populist movement would die down as soon as the economy gets better. There was a similar movement during the depression. As simplistic as "spend less, tax less" sounds, it is true when you get down to the bare bones.bare bones is the key word here, the american government would have to work on bare bones for that ideological to work. say hello to streamlined medicare/medicaid. say goodbye to student loan subsidies and last but not the least, defense spending has to be drastically reduced (like they plan to do in the UK) I wonder how our tea-party folks would react when the US armed forces becomes a deficit reduction casualty. americans love to talk all about small government but i doubt if they are ready for it. Stop watching MSNBC dudeyou know i'm the no.1 consumer of CNN and MSNBC. rachael maddow is my wife to be ![]() i believe most of the tea-parties were sarah palin backers rather than obama supporters. don't get me wrong, i believe uncle obama has sold out on issues such as health care and don't-ask don't tell (i'm NL's gay rights activist ) but the tea party with their conservative approach doesn't appeal to me. heck they scare me.america is pretty much centrist and it's likely their primary election success would be met with doom in places like delaware during general elections. You have me typing all these words, i need to charge you a consultancy fee or something ![]() |
amingafar:but i thought we had equal recognition. who told you i was christian? |
Tosinville:stop back from the computer and relax |
amingafar:if all religions should be respected, why does islamic law get to dominate the north? what an hypocrite. maybe i can start an ifa court in bauchi state. |
anyone who respects the secular constitution of nigeria, should be against sharia law. cutting someone's hand off for theft is cruelty and not a form of rehabilitation. |
I think the latest talk of independents/moderates will not vote for a Tea Partier is conciliatory pep talk intended to inspire the uninspired democratic base. I'm registered independent and even I will not be voting republican. I will be voting ABE - anybody but the establishment. I don't care if ms Delaware Tea partier or any other candidate only has a middle school degree or WAEC certificate. What have the harvarders and yalers done with all their wisdom?the thing about voting for ABE is that most of these ABE guys have little to offer in terms of policy making. it's easy to moan about high taxes and family values in a town hall but these guys have little to offer on how to combat the deficits most america cities and states are facing. the racist extremists among them aren't helping either. these ABE guys are just preying on emotionally sensitive americans who have little knowledge on how government works. these are the same people who want tax cuts to be extended but somehow want to keep medicare and medicaid. how is that possible without a deficit they claim they would reduce. the GOP is wise enough to dissociate from tea partiers before they turn it into a niche party. i know i'm generalizing but you can't run a country alone on populist rhetoric. its hilarious the people who were most in support of the wars became fiscal conservatives overnight. [flash=400,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b1GWqjRyrQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"[/flash] the tea party is a movement that would run out of steam considering it has no ideological backbone besides stop spending and obama is a socialist rants. we still pimping in the white house ![]() |

[quote author=pres-elect link=topic=514190.msg6760997#msg6760997 date=1284584552]Next month? Thought it will be November? Anyway, demochickens would loose seats in the senate but may hang on a slight majority. In the house, the republicans will likely take over, sending my darling pelosi home ![]() there's a slim chance the dems may hold the house still. I wish dems will loose both houses. That may spark the base and add some comon sense into the Washington democrats and Obama et al.[/quote]stop democratic playa hating https://images.huffingtonpost.com/2010-04-12-obamaspaladinoemail.jpg thanks to the surge of the tea party, the GOP may struggle to get moderate votes. there is still hope for the democrats. pimping in the white house aint easy |
