I think it's better for the PTA association to handle the security of secondary and primary schools than one insurance or wen police officers.

Let them contribute that money to get vigilante groups like opc to guard the school down west and all other areas like south, north.this is better as the security is in the hands of parents and vigilantes. Donation money to the government to secure he livs of our kids is just like giving your kids to an unknown entity to watch. Let them hire ciglantes to guts schools. Goveent can secure our kids. Simple. No to this.
but you will agree with me that under a corruption free Nation, this is a very good trend?

Any negative news is PDP but when EBOLA was fought to a standstill under PDP government the glory went to Fashola.

My question is UNA NO DEY TAYA TO MESS UNA SELF UP?

Even some founding members of PDP who are now in APC are talking too.

Hmmmmmmmm!
like seriously,i wonder if we ''the youths'' are really the leaders of tomorrow nd if we are,i wonder what leadership we will present..we hav completely let our emotions cloud our observations, judgement and conclusions....
Well, the leaders are not helpin either...
What will you expect when someone who is happens to be a leader ''in his own category'' will come up and say The federal Government did not Fight Ebola but the state in the name of opposition...

Better. I heard it on radio. So is unity school students the only ones that needs insurance?most of this government workers have their students in unity school and who owns the insurance companies?

They do not have the love of common citizens at heart that's even why chibok girls are still missing by and they are all concerned about unity schools?so all those is fggc schools are not students?primary shool students are my human beingshuh

God will save Nigeria from this heartless people.
FGGC----Federal Government Girls College is a unity school
The insurance scheme is supoze 2 be a good project if there can use the money for what it is meant for.
And it is also the duty of the states and private sector 2 adopt the project and provide maximum security for the students...
Federal Government dont have 2 do it all
.
Remember during the Ebola outbreak, some private schools had to hire Medical doctors to carry out test on their students.believe me,it was not because there really wanted to do it but because since the federal Govt had ordered that all schools be shut down indefinitely, there were not goin to be shut down when there should be making money from the students.

bros ,just dey watch them oo. I now know the reason why wole soyinka gave the idea that a state of emergency should be declared on nigeria educational sector. as far as the op is concerned decried means to ban. Infact I think a total clamp down on social media in nigeria will be good so that majority of nigerian youth will stop exhibiting their stupidity to the outside world.
I just pity some of us that come here to be informed and Educated

Jonathan decries use of social media to cause anarchy

President Goodluck Jonathan has decried the use of the social media worldwide to create social discontent and anarchy in the society.
Jonathan said this when he met with a delegation of traditional rulers and leaders from Bayelsa, on Tuesday, in Abuja.
He said that the social media initially meant for good had become a tool to disseminate evil.

Cue in audio

‘‘ These days, there are all kinds of stories. It is all over the world, leaders are being lambasted, especially with the social media now.
’’People use what knowledge had created for negative reasons.
‘‘Just as I was told that the person who invented dynamite, later regretted that invention because he thought he was coming up with something to solve human problem.

“ But when he got to know about the level of destruction, human lives that are being blown up because of explosion, the man regretted that invention.
“What is supposed to be used for the common good was turned to negative purposes.

“I always say that I will not even expect praises now because hardly do people praise serving leaders. It is when you leave, people will begin to know.
“When you leave, they will begin to compare what you have done over the period vis-a-vis what others have done.

“Then they will compare you with whoever takes over.’
