I'd like to find out please, is it possible or advisable to get into any of the pools when decision has not been received on a visiting visa already applied for? |

Big congratulations to you Speedily PR approval... By God's grace, i will share my testimony soon too! ! luckygirl02: It's PPPRRRRR
ITA: Feb 14 healthcare draw AOR: March 13 BIL/MIL: April 17 Gave Biometrics: April 19 Medical passed: April 24 No update until today FD and Passport request: June 6.
We tried in the year 2019/2020 sitting in the pool with 466 crs. Couldn't get ITA and COVID also damaged things. By the time IRCC started draws after COVID, we had lost significant points due to age. IELTS also expired. We sha packed our bags and enter UK early 2021.
Then IRCC introduced category based draws. Second chance at Canada leyi ooo. So we started again. Had to write ielts 3 times unfortunately. Each time, I am 0.5 short in either listening or writing. I wrote the final one on February 10 2024. Got my CBT results on February 13 with LRWS 9,8,7,7.5. I updated my profile immediately and my score jumped to 440 from 384. The next day, February 14, IRCC did healthcare draw and boom our ITA.
Hang in there everyone. Yours on the way. |

I am not seeing any steps online as to how I can update email on Nin, I have contacted NIMC, no response. Please what other alternatives can I use to procure my PCC .. Kindly advise |

braine: To send your passport to Kenya, here are the steps I followed.
1. Passport request letter 2. 2x Photo Passport 3. International passport 4. CVAC form 5. Receipt of transmission fee payment. 6. DHL Return label 7. Eye and height chart 8.(optional) two photocopies of passport data page with email address and phone number.
You need the 7 documents above
Step 1: print out PPR letter, consent form (CVAC) and eye & height chart.
Step 2: make a passport according to the specifications (it’s on your PPR letter, also try to look fresh, I heard that picture will be used everywhere for a long time)
Step 3: Pay and get Kenya VFS transmission receipt. (It costs 32k now, but dollar rate might say otherwise). You can reach out for the contact i used, as I cannot just put the contact here.
Step 4: Have a DHL 'to and return' waybill documents (it costs 78k normally, it might cost more currently). You can reach out for the contact i used as well.
Step 5: put all documents asides the DHL Lagos-Nairobi waybill inside an envelope
Step 6: go submit the documents at any official DHL office close to you. ( they’ll ask for the DHL waybill document (Lagos-Kenya)
Step 7: buy coke and 3 puff puff, you deserve to spoil yourself. @mrkong, This should help... |

Congratulations to you and yours 🎊 👏 Bassman14: Guys!! .. I finally received my stamped passport with COPR letter this week! It's been a journey of patience and hope.
Story: I initially planned to start the process in 2020, even took the CIIN exam for additional degree, but one thing led to another and I moved to Dubai instead.
I got married to my wife in January 2023 but couldn't bring her over cause of the Dubai ban on Nigerians hence we decided to attempt the express entry program again with me being the main applicant.
Timeline:
IELTS July 2023 WES evaluation August 2023 Entered pool August 2023 with CRS score 488
Got invited and accepted Alberta PNP September 2023 (sibling lives there)
ITA - October 2023 AOR - November 16 2023 (used sale of land and salary account as POF, Upfront medicals)
Biometrics - January 16 2024
ADR - April 3 2024.. Payslips for a year, Educational diplomas, IMM 5669 Schedule A, RPRF payment receipt
PPR - May 2
I submitted my passport to Abudhabi VFS and got it back within 2 weeks. My wife submitted in Lagos, it's still at Accra OC, hoping to get it back soon.
Thank you all for the support and to everyone still hoping and trying, no give up oooo!!!! |

mhizsimi: In 2020, I heard about Canada PR but I wasn't serious with it, I was scared of writing IELTS
I kept telling my brother I have not studied enough for the exam. January 2021, I finally wrote IELTS and got in the pool, then came the long pause of ITA. And when they resumed in 2022, the scores were so high, that I had to start learning French but my French tutor suddenly increased her price .
At some point I gave up on this journey, but last year after the elections, I knew I had to get back in the pool. And then CBD came, I wrote IELTS again and got in the pool.
ITA: 26th Oct AOR: 2nd Dec BIL: 2nd Feb MIL: 4th Feb Biometric done and linked: 12th Feb Medicals done: 14th Feb PFL: March 26 PFL: POF topup submitted April 21 MEP: 14 May FD: 15 May RFV: 16 May VO: RROC/Accra
I did sputum test, my medicals took three months, crazy and depressing period... Another thing that showed me shege is exchange rate, it kept going up
Thank you to the elders on this thread who have been responding to my questions from the days of WES evaluation. Congratulations 👏 By God's grace, I will soon share my testimony too |

NuCypher: Absolutely. You can go ahead and submit your application, as long as you have provided all the required information up to the point of submission Yes, you can do biometrics and medicals in different countries. Doesn't matter. Go to IRCC website and you will see the approved hospital list for each country. You can raise a webform anywhere you are. That's location independent. The webform is not going to ask you what location you are present in. Thanks for the detailed response. |

Good day Fam,
Please I need your advice.
I have completed my ITA application but I will be traveling out of Nigeria by 5th Feb and I may be in different locations/countries in the next 2months due to Job while my family remains in Nigeria.
Can I go ahead to submit my application now? Can myself and family do both Biometric & Medicals in different countries?
And is it necessary I raise webform whenever I get to a new location?
Kindly advise. Thank you |
