Ilorin is among the 14cities in Nigeria recognized by Wikipedia. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/.../List_of_citi... Also, if you consider definition of a City in UN standard (which is in term of resident population) Ilorin will qualify. And even many other State capital in Nigeria will qualify too. Beside these, the Political, Economic and Educational institutions in Ilorin also qualify it as a City. |
There's a Yoruba adage that says: To won ba'n tan e, ma se tan'rare. That is - If you're being deceived, don't deserve yourself. I wonder the metrics all these Economy Analyst use to arrive at these deceptive conclusions. Because this our growth contradicts my elementary Economics knowledge. Economy growing and no Jobs, no amenities, etc. Even if insecurity is a world wide challenge what about high cost of living. It's better we wake ourselves and work on our issues. Else these western world will continue to deceive us till $1 = N1000. |
Is she trying to be descent? Too late... Let somebody tell her say no packaging for 'things fall(en) apart'...lol! |
If some are still crying B. Kasamu should be extradited I hope they are ready to crucify the Gov - who's so dumb, foolish, incompetent and stupidly said "the situation is beyond him". I saw this coming when he started all the 'O-this-O-that' projects. You're not improving IGR but wanna do all those nonsense with Federal allocation. Stupid government want to serve lunch in schools when parents can't afford to give their wards breakfast and dinner. Its better other states start taking cue from this and stop reckless spending of their (now) limited fund. |
Thanks gabbytabby! Your recommendation was timely. And that baba just did my German floor at a very reasonable price, gave me good advise and also did a thorough job. One thing again, he keeps punctual to appointment(s). I second your recommendation here! |
Pls make Una stop dey play with my favourite food na... ![]() |
Welldone OP... Concerning DPC, I'll suggest you to do it. because it's one way you can be sure dampness won't affect your building in the future especially when you use DPC Membrane/Nylon with it. Also, for the solidity of the entire building. And for me: the beauty is also nice (I'm doing 1 small place like that too and just did the DPC recently...). It'll look costly though but the benefits pay off. May GOD bless our hustles. |
Thank goodness you can still salvage the situation now. I will advise you monitor things closely throughout. Because aspect of the construction is important and besides you're spending money. Also, correcting errors means spending more money. I started a two-3BR recently too. Though I have a supervising Engineer but work will only happen when I'm available - which is usually weekends. It might seems slow but I'm happy/satisfied with the steady and quality progress. Also, learning some bits in the process. |

I wish we can know the marital status of some pple advising here. To the OP - Pls, heed to only the positive advises you've had so far. Also, add tho lil one. Don't expect 100% perfection from your hubby sexually and be ready to give in some of your sexual desires too - simply put get the balance gradually. Appreciate him in 'action' on other aspect of your family life that he done greatly e.g. your child/children raising, family projects etc. |

There are so much 'issues/challenges' we need to clear before we talk about bringing in Car Manufacturers. 1. Power - The power will generate/transmit/distribute is not even enough for domestics/cottage businesses nor our scanty industries now were're talking about heavy industry like Auto-assambly. 2. Market - Dont be surprise that Nigeria auto-market is importing less than 180,000 units of cars/annum (both brand new and 'tokunbo'). And for a production to be cost effective and profitable it has to produce average of 20,000units per month.*Do the arithmetics. Where will they sell the excess? 3. Quality System - Knowing that Nigeria is a low quality society/economy and a third world country, you'll be surprised that Ghanians sef wont buy our products. Besides, many Nigerians wont. 4. Value Chain - Note that most of the cars you see today use average of 2500parts to become a car. How will they source for the glass parts (windshields, mirror etc), the eletricals (for your info - Siemens makes eletricals for Honda). We can go on and on... My submission: Let's fix our Power/Energy sector, Bring back the likes of Michelline, Dunlop. Bring in sub-assembing companies. As all these improves our economy grows and we are inching towards our dream. #sorry, its so lenghty! |
Apart from the Winner: Germany, Runner Up: Argentina and 3rd Place: Netherlands which are not disputable. What's your take on the following individual awards at this World Cup: Golden Ball: Lionel Messi (Argentina) Golden Glove: Manuel Neuer (Germany) Young Player Award: Paul Pogba (france) FIFA Fair Play Award: Colombia Name your preferred winner... |
Its was waited for with all enthusiasm and divers preparation - i.e. The World Cup 2014! Now, its done and dusted. Thanks to Brasil (the Host) and congratulation to the Germany (the Winner - their 4th actually). Can we relates our different 'lessons learnt' from this particular edition of the World Cup? Mine are: 1. A team should not be about (/around) a man: Many team failed in this World Cup because of this particular flaw - a good example was the host Brasil, Portugal and some others with latent flaws. If Apple Inc. has been built around the co-founder Steve Jobs (either partly or wholey) may be it would have experienced something similar to this after the death of the genius inventor. 2. Look less on the monetary gain in any venture: We saw and heard how some teams disagree over allowances and other monetary concerns during the campaign. This in one way or the other causes some distration. Apparently, a serious team goes to the Mundial for the TROPHY and nothing less. What will be the worth of the cash prize after a decade? So look more for the main prize when you're going into that next veture. There are more lessons I'm sure...let's share them! |
Such legnthy writeup without a single puntuation...lol! I suspect he's translating from another language. |
Pls guys, can someone guide me . Is it that the present 10% of CIF of the vehicle (5% duty + 5%levy) to be cleared is not relevant in determining your clearance fee. Because I have not heard anybody mentioning the value of the car he wants to clear. |
Sir, What is the maximum paper size for the AR5618 series. Also, can we have a better price. |
