I just finished reading this story, and I must say it's a fascinating one.

I noticed a lot of the chapters have been removed. Please can someone tell me why Authors do this on nairaland.

2)ielts Liz for writing
3) ielts daily on YouTube for speaking
4) career zone IELTS for listening
5) I used past questions for reading- a friend gave me hard copy past questions

My mistake. It's actually British Council

Do you mind sharing resources you used in preparation for the test. I am referring to past questions, practice questions, textbooks e.t.c and not tutorials

I would advice you to learn the following
✓Bootstrap
✓Jquery — Ajax
✓JSON
✓ React — for web apps and UI/UX
✓PHP — don't let anyone deceive you. It's by far the most popular server side language on the web and powers the best CMS(WordPress) and compatible with MySQL.

Learn it's framework for better performance. Codeigniter or Laravel

✓API

✓ A lil bit of server administration — domains, hosting, web mail, internet security e.t.c

These are all you need for a solid foundation in web dev. Every other language/library/framework/web technology you learn is an added advantage.

Anything you should learn after the aboved mentioned languages/library/framework should be based on the area you wish to special in
