It was gathered that the suspect had been stealing electric cables in both Ipokia and Yewa South Local Government Area of the state.
Luck, however out of him when he attempted to steal cables in his hometown, Itoro along Oja Odan road.
He was handed over to the Ilaro police and would be charge to Court soon.

Twitter drama! Lady who trolled short men and later married one gets into a really dirty twitter fight with her ex-friend, expose each other's secrets

There was a really dirty twitter fight between two ex-friends last night. One of the ladies, Olivia involved in the drama had earlier made headlines last week after someone dug up old tweets where she made fun of short men but got married to one.
The whole drama started after Irose (lady on the right) shared a tweet subbing Olivia (lady on the left). Olivia collected her shade and the whole thing blew up from there.
Irose who accommodated Olivia for 6 months when she was having accommodation issues accused her of sleeping with her ex two weeks before her wedding. She claimed that Olivia's father raped her nanny while visiting her in Abuja
Olivia on her own side accused Irose of seducing married men, scamming them out of money with fake pregnancy stories and also doing juju. She claimed that Irose's mom trains her on how to seduce men.
A popular Twitter relationship expert, Uncle Sola Adio was dragged into the mess after Olivia claimed Irose told her he was tried of flying her out for sex.

The Edo State headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been badly affected by the massive flooding that overwhelmed some parts of the state on Saturday.
According to INEC's website, a section of the building’s perimeter fencing collapsed after two hours of heavy downpour, pushing in muddy waters that inundated vehicles, files, computers and card reading machines.
Registration data were however not affected because officials had forwarded those that had been concluded to the national headquarters in Abuja, while the ongoing collations were being backed up or shared with registration points at local government level.
“Remember we had completed the first quarter of continuous voter registration in July and the information had been backed up as well as shared with INEC HQ in Abuja,” Obo Effanga, Edo State Resident Electoral Commissioner stated. “The current CVR information are shared daily between the registration points in the LGAs and the state headquarters and a comprehensive data compiled and shared at the end of each week.”

A man accused of marrying his stepdaughter when she was only 12-years-old, then holding her prisoner and repeatedly raping her for 19-years and having nine children by her, has been arrested in Mexico and extradited to the US.
Henri Michele Piette, 62, has been charged with first-degree rape and other offences by authorities in Oklahoma after his step-daughter, Rosalynn McGinnis, now 33, made her way to the US embassy in Mexico and reported the attrocities done to her by Piette.
She told investigators at the embassy that she was "married" by a then 15-year-old son of Mr Piette’s in the back of a van the day before Piette was supposed to marry her mother.
Ms McGinnis’s mother later left Mr Piette because of his violent behaviour and lived with her daughter in protective accommodation,
Piette allegedly kidnapped Ms McGinnis, who was then 12, in 1997 while she was at school.
The newspaper reported an FBI agent saying in court:
"After being introduced to Piette's other children as their new mother, they began travelling to numerous locations throughout the United States and abroad including ... Texas, Montana, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona and Mexico."
Mr Piette is described by investigators as having “deep ties” to Central America and Mexico and criminal organisations there.
He allegedly went to great lengths to hide his family’s location, including travelling to locations they had already left, to post letters to indicate they were still there.
Ms McGinnis says somehow, he was able to get them to Mexico where she was subjected to near daily sexual assaults and bore him nine children.
She said she suffered beatings, torture and was even stabbed shot during her time in Mexico.
She said it was only when a woman who lived near their home in Mexico brought a cake for her children, that she finally told her that she had been kidnapped at an early age and needed help immediately. Mr Piette was out the room at the time she asked for the neighour's help.
The woman found Ms McGinnis "missing" poster online and immediately contacted the authorities.
“I knew that if I didn’t get out of there, I’d either go insane or I would end up dying and leaving my kids with that man,” Ms McGinnis told People magazine.
After she was rescued from Mr. Piette by US authorities, she returned to the US and waived her rights to remain anonymous. She said:
"I want the world to know. I want him to be stopped and I want justice to be served."

A member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Dare Pelemo, has been accused of sexually and physically assaulting a widow at the Assembly complex.
Following the allegations, the Ekiti State International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) has demanded the arrest and prosecution Mr Pelemo. He is accused of handling the breasts of Mrs Ilesanmi on September 6 at the Assembly complex.
Mrs. Ilesanmi said she raised an alarm but the lawmaker mobilised thugs to beat her in the Office of Majority Leader Mr. Tunji Akinyele, where she lodged a complaint on the alleged sexual harassment. She went on to allege that the thugs tore her clothes and provided a photo as proof.
Narrating her ordeal, Mrs. Ilesanmi said: "I came to visit a member representing my constituency, Samuel Omotoso but he was not around. On my way out, I met Pelemo and we exchanged pleasantries. Immediately, he fondled my breasts and I asked him what was the meaning of that. I am a married woman for that matter, and I don’t like how he touched my breast. He now said that I am an enemy of government, that I am not supposed to come to the Assembly. I now asked him, is that the reason why you are touching my breasts, a married woman for that matter? I challenged him that this is too much.
"I went to report the matter to Akinyele and I met the Clerk in Akinyele’s office with two other visitors. He was on phone but I waited. Before I knew what was happening, Pelemo came in with some miscreants and they started beating me and destroying things in that office, asking what I was doing in the Assembly Complex."
Mrs. Ilesanmi’s lawyer, Adeoye Aribasoye, said he has forwarded a petition on the assault and sexual harassment to the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Chafe.
Aribasoye said: "Our petition is receiving the attention of the commissioner of Police. Besides, FIDA in Ekiti is also investigating the case and I believe that soon, an action will be taken on the matter."
Ekiti FIDA Desk Officer Mrs. Kemi Atitebi said the organisation received the complaint against Pelemo but the legislator ignored the invitation to defend himself, The Nation reports.
She said: "FIDA Ekiti received the complaint of sexual harassment and assault against Dare Pelemo and the complainant is Mrs. Ilesanmi, that she was assaulted and stripped naked on the premises of the Assembly Complex.
"FIDA wrote a letter to invite the respondent for us to hear his side of the story and to mediate in the matter. The woman is a widow and mother of children and her dignity has been violated for the fact that she was stripped naked."
But Pelemo denied sexually harassing and assaulting Mrs Ilesanmi. Pelemo accused the woman of "attempting to frame him up and destroying his name."
Pelemo, who is the House committee chairman on Security, said Mrs. Ilesanmi did not wear visitor’s tag when she visited the Assembly Complex on September 5, which prompted him to challenge her on her mission. He accused Mrs. Ilesanmi of working as an agent of the senator representing Ekiti South, Mrs. Biodun Olujimi, who is no longer in the good books of Governor Ayo Fayose and leadership of the Assembly.
Pelemo said: "It is not true that I touched her, I did not touch her breasts but I suddenly saw a petition from FIDA last Friday but I had travelled to my hometown, Ilasa-Ekiti, after which the FIDA people called me and I told them that I would be coming back on Monday.
"It was not as if I ignored FIDA, she is trying to frame me up and destroy my good name. She is being sponsored by some people but I will still honour the FIDA invitation."

The Nigeria Police Force on Tuesday, paraded 31 notorious and vicious suspects arrested for alleged kidnapping, armed robbery, rape, illegal possession of prohibited fire arms, among other crimes.
Addressing newsmen in Dikko, Niger State, the Force spokesman, CSP Jimoh Moshood, said that the suspects were arrested in their hideouts and camps where some of their victims were rescued and the listed items recovered.
"In the operation that is still ongoing, four (4) different vicious and notorious Kidnap for ransom gangs including those dealing in illegal possession of prohibited fire arms were dislodged and busted," said the spokesman.
"Also arrested is a gang that is responsible for the killings of some security personnel on Kaduna – Abuja road and Abuja – Lokoja road recently. They equally confessed to have raped some of their victims. A total number of thirty one (31) suspected kidnappers / Armed Robbers were arrested in the operation
"They confessed to the offence and admitted to the various criminal roles they played in the commission of the crime. The arms and ammunition, kidnappers operational vehicles listed above and other properties belonging to some of their victims, who were rescued from the gangs, were recovered from them. Most of the suspects were identified by the victims and for being responsible for their kidnap. Investigation is being intensified to arrest the other suspects at large. All the suspects will be arraigned in court on completion of Investigation"
CSP Moshood further revealed that five suspected kidnappers died during exchange of fire with with the police personnel attached to Operation Absolute Sanity.
"The police lost SGT Sherri's Abdulahiwhen the team came under ambush attack by the suspected kidnappers in the early hours of of Tuesday, September 26."
"While the operation is being sustained, the Inspector-General of Police has directed the Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) and Commissioners of Police (CPs) in the zones and commands to introduce new strategies in curbing kidnappings and other violent crimes on the highways and major roads in other states of the country.
"They are also to beef up security in their Area of Responsibilities (AOR) and ensure massive deployment of Armed Police Personnel, Patrol Teams and undercover operatives to black spots, flash points and other vulnerable criminal spots to nip in the bud all forms of crimes and criminality nationwide and make sure that detection of crimes are prompt to serve as effective deterrent to who-will-be criminals. The ongoing raids on criminal hideouts will be sustained throughout the country.
"The Inspector General of Police wishes to extend appreciations and gratitude to the communities, towns and villages along Abuja – Kaduna and Abuja - Minna highways for the supports and assistance being rendered in terms of prompt information and complaints to the Police Personnel deployed in their localities that have led to so many successes for the Nigeria Police Force. The renewed commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to reduce crimes and criminality in the country is yielding positive results and remains unwavering."

Nigerian lady, Moni Onibat a took to her IG page to share her testimony on how she gave birth to a boy and a set of twins despite being told she couldn't have kids because she had PCOS. Read her story below...

I was told shortly after I got married in 2012 that I had PCOS and I would find it difficult to conceive because I wasn't ovulating. I refused to let the doctors report sink in but held on to God's promises. Few months after my period flow changed, instead of having the normal blood flow of 5 days, I bled for 60-90 days and had just 2-3 weeks break. How I survived that period, I don't know but God kept me. At a point, my GP said I was Anemic. And then people began to ask when we will be having our babies and my constant answer was, we were not yet ready.
Then came August 2013 during the Holyghost convention( I watched the Live transmission on TV) and Pastor Adeboye asked those who had their babies within the period of the Last convention and dat service to come with their babies. While they danced to the altar, I cried to God silently asking for my own baby..then my hubby #kaykums who was oblivious of my prayers just spoke and said by this time next year, we will have a son and he named him.
And yes, God honoured it. Exactly what time the next year we had a son. It was A miracle.
Two years after I began to panic, I wanted to be sure God had healed me and I could have more children then we began trying for another baby...I saw my period again.I was devastated and I wept..( I am sure God must have been laughing at me) the next month, I had a dream where my mum was telling me I was pregnant. Few weeks after I was confirmed pregnant. Not just that, I was carrying a set of twins. I was in awe of God...a set of twins!! From being told I was not ovulating to carrying a set of Twins.Haba this God!!! And after 9months, a week after our wedding anniversary they were delivered.
I don't know what you have been told but One thing I know is if God could bring to nought a negative report he is able to turn your situation around....Nothing can STOP him from fulfilling his promises concerning you. I have decided to share my testimony of God Mercies today to bring Glory to his name and encourage someone today.
