Hello, as you are applying for jobs in Nigeria, let give you my own advice. For you to be first class in chemical engineering..hats off and congratulations. My advice would be for you to apply for scholarship outside Nigeria in either Australia, US or Canada. The chances of you getting it is high. I am very positive about this. Unfortunately my school is not in the list. Believe me you admission is not a problem. Just go through the schools process of admission. It is very easy.

A family friend of mine did his masters and PhD in the UK and was sent back to Nigeria as soon as he was done. They hardly retain people there, well, Nigerians to be specific (that I know of). Here's the link. It explains much better. . .was on the front page a few weeks ago.

Yes...The UK system of immigration is not favourable to international students..however just because someone/majority come back from the UK after their PhD/masters doesn't mean it's applicable to all. I know people that got jobs after their Masters even though it might be difficult. You have to be proactive in your search, have the experience for that specific job and pray. We all have different destiny. Pray urs is in UK.

Apply to any of the schools listed above, apply to ptdf also. Get your admission from the school, then wait on ptdf.

Admissions is not an issue got mine in three days. Get your international passport, statement of purpose, and transcripts. Go online to the listed schools and apply. Apply for ptdf, read and pray.

Hello...... don't always go for past question paper, it doesn't always work. I wrote the exams and passed without studying any past question paper. Just read all round about HSE believe me you will pass. I wrote HSE too and I can tell you I was sure of getting a good score after the exams. All I did was to pray that I'm among the top performers...and God answered my prayers. I don't know anyone but God did it for me. So just study and shun past questions. Though what worked for me might not work for you....wish you the best

Have a look at Cranfield University and tell me three courses in order of priority which you are keen on. I know someone who works there and you may be able to be fast-tracked into a course there— with the right qualifications. When some, DM me.

Hello people I need your advice on the oss scholarship. I got shortlisted but don't have an offer/admission yet, most schools I contacted for my field of study said till next year. Please I need your advice on this.

Your getting everything wrong about what the guy said. I wrote the test today and what he said was true. There are some questions having grammatical flaws, I came out and heard people even talking about it. Questions differ,if urs was very OK then I also experienced it today and others too. Mind you he isn't a loser coz he doesn't know his result yet, why are u judging him? It baffles me how u tag him a loser and you a winner......you killed it *clap* ..all the best

Just finished my test. Snapnet is the worst vendor ever. The questions and options for fill-in-the-gap questions were constructed badly. It got to a point that I was wondering if the questions were set by an illiterate ... How I wish Dragnet had conducted the test.

I thought I was the only one who noticed it. The gap questions were badly constructed, at a point I was even wondering who set those questions. I was really dissapointed too.

I find this appalling that people will suggest a whatsapp group. Can you tell me what's the problem with nairaland? This forum helped you, now you know want to abandon it. Well it's an open world you can do whatever you like but be rest assured we will keep the forum going with useful info whenever we have one. One more thing plz get ur minds busy with other stuffs, don't cling yourself to Dpr recruitment, and not all of us will work there o , coz this ride is a long one. Apply for others and engage yourselves till the invites rolls out. What will be will surely be.....my two cents

I think what Zarah said might be true with regard to Senate delaying it but as of the number of slot am not aware. A reliable person in the top management informed me that the list is with the senate. He said they have finish the shortlisting but Senate is playing politics. So let's keep praying....it is well
