Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Theatre and Film Studies Department yesterday show paraded the campus with their style to celebrate their final day in school.

The graduating students in an excited mood, showed up in a Primary schools uniforms, socks and bag pack for their final examination.

They all marched, danced and sang different nursery and primary school Songs.

Lephoi Mankwe is a 47-year-old car mechanic who is making an unbelievable claim.



Lephoi from Orlando in Soweto, South Africa, has revealed that he is being guided by his ancestors.



According to Daily Sun UK, the man said he is inspired by a calabash which represents his ancestors and the calabash replies him every time.

According to him: “I don’t work on every car that comes to this workshop. I speak to the calabash, my ancestors, first so that I know whether to fix the car or not.”


He said it has made people mistake him for an inyanga (a traditional healer)

“I guess this makes me an inyanga for cars, not human beings,” he joked.

Lephoi started fixing cars in 1996 under the eye of the late Jeff Mandlazi, and they specialised in fixing Beetles.

“My desire to be a mechanic developed while I was still at school. However, due to financial problems, I couldn’t study after matric.”

Instead he worked as a baker for seven years but the working hours were so bad that he decided to pursue his dream to be a mechanic.

Today Lephoi is well known as Mosotho Wa Pitsa, who can fix any car.

Like every business, fixing cars comes with its own challenges. He said he only deals with petrol cars.

“I do not fix diesel cars because I do not have any knowledge of them,” said Lephoi.

Mokete Thulo (22), who is Lephoi’s assistant, is an up and coming apprentice.

“Working with Lephoi has taught me patience as a mechanic as some jobs can take more than a day,” he said.

Phillip Kanta (44) is a happy client who had taken his car to five different mechanics without being helped.

“That was until I heard about the mechanic with a calabash. I took my car to him and he fixed it within two days,” said Phillip.

The brutalized man in the photos above is believed to be a Nigerian man accused of being part of a robbery gang that terrorized citizens in Monrovia, the Liberian capital. He was caught after an alleged botched robbery on Monday August 15th. A Liberian, Arrington Ballah, who put up the pics wrote;


"This guy is alleged to be a member of a robbery group that has a black four-door pickup moving around Monrovia. Unfortunately, on Monday, August 15,2016 they had an unsuccessful mission that led him to how you see him in this photo. Before I arrived on the scene, it was said that one of the guys managed to escape into the 72nd Community swamp (directly opposite the new health ministry in Congo Town with with the fire arm they use for operation. He was never found.

However, the angry crowd managed to get this guy (believed to be a Nigerian National) and brutalized him as you can see. Thanks to the LNP for having this guy transferred to the Police Station and listening to my advice. The unidentified black car escaped and on lookers alleged that the car was taken off by on quote-un-quote white man. The young lady who was victimized, after being thrown out of the car, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Hummmm! Liberia, Where are we now in terms of security?".

I was within the Abeokuta Metropolis this afternoon when I saw FRSC Special Marshals on duty checking Motorists' License. Is this constitutionally appropriate? Are they empowered to do that?

The baby was supposed to be sleeping on the mat behind him, but in a miraculous way, he was moved from their some few minutes before the incident.

Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo needs to understand that she is a mother of a grown up girl. What would she expect the girl to emulate on her, if she continues to dress like the girl herself. Apart from the fact that she is uses excessive cream, which is already giving her black legs. Her dressing sense is nothing good of a role model and a mother.


She needs to get a tutor and then work on the multiple colour skin she is beginning to have. Nollywood actresses, especially the Yoruba movies stars have not seemed to have gotten it right when it comes to the lightening game. I guess they go for the sub standard creams. 23-year-old Chierika Okogu, who made history as the first rower to represent Nigeria at the 2016 Olympics Games, has advanced to the next round of events.

This is a big one for the country and we hope she represents us fully well and maybe get to the finals. She looks fir for that anyways.
