lolawilliams:Babes, Lebron is the problem of the Cavs. Everyone on that team plays to please him. He never takes blame but blames his fellow players. He was the reason why IT and the other guys were sent packing. Watch how the present team plays, everyone plays to please him. No bold or clutch moves so you don't get to be blamed. How can a fellow player hold other team mates to ransom. |
I see a slanted support for the Cavs here. Even if they trump the Pacers, they are not winning the east. Lebron and his gangs got the weakest team in the east in the pacers yet they are bouncing. You can not play that bad during the regular season and hope to win the east in the playoffs. |
Manonamission:Oga, you, wil you release more than is required to move the price? The ticker was on suspension for 117 trading days, traded an average of 3,446,745 units per day and a total of 403,269,217 units exchanged hands while it was on suspension. The day sellers will press the sell button, it is going to be heavy, however, it will be a case of wealth changing hands. The worst days are over. One of the benefits of trading with a world class book. Bet365 actually dashed me $2,200. Those guys played 70 points, the correct odds should have been over 75.5 as against the 77.5 I played. Once I noticed that the points was adjusted after placing the bet, I monitored it and cashed out at $300. They've however voided the slip and returned my stake.

I get your point. Whoever has gotten to the point of going for a masters especially an MBA should be aware of the dynamics around getting visa and other related matters. My position is get out of the US if you are out of status. I however beg to differ on the position that the present administration is anti immigrants. While that submission holds true on a general note, Trump has not implemented any anti H1B policy. The quota is still 65,000 regular and 20,000 masters as it has been since year 2005. You are bound to see more cases of unsuccessful H1B applicants as the demand far outweighs the available 85,000 slots. For the 2018 fiscal year, the USCIS received 199,000 petitions, 114,000 are not getting approved and when you consider the fact the many of the 114,000 might file again next year, then we have a case of a mounting demand with fixed supply and the woe tales would only increase. |
Jesusbabygirl:There is a reason why there is loan and lenders are aware of the risks inherent in granting loans. No lender would give you a 100k loan without the necessary risk assessment. They look at your GMAT score, your undergraduate degree (they like STEM graduates), your school, your pre-MBA work experience and post-MBA career aspirations, your Pre-MBA salary, etc. So the idea that taking a loan is bad must be properly situated. Treasury Bills and Bond yields are around 14%, if you are from Nigeria and barring FX risk, it pays to find your MBA with a loan and earn the spread between the lower cost of debt and the higher yields. It is a worthy risk to fund your education with a loan if that is the only option you have. This especially true if you're a Nigerian. All MBA grads have a one year OPT and can be employed and file for H1B. But you have to picked at the first trial else you can't try next time. The difference is that the STEM guys can go for the H1B lottery three times while an MBA grad on 12 months OPT goes once. Another point is that things are changing and many MBA concentrations are getting approved as STEM designated. So the submission that MBA degrees are not STEM designated is being disrupted. |
Arizona042: Arizona042:From your submission, Chinedu is not doing well that is why stays low when he enters Naija. It is also because of this his financial misfortune that he can't lend you $300 and can't take care of his parents. Yet you want to risk it all to go study in the US when you do not have a sponsor. You are hating on someone that is even trying to show you the way. You came online to malign his person thinking that you'll not be found out. well done unfriendly friend |
Lala234:They are independent events. The strength of your application when compared to other applications is the major determinant of funding. |
Sorelee:Your degree certificate issued by the school. The one that states your class of degree and has the shool stamp. |
onegentleguy:Thanks for the update on this, the Lord will grant our request. While still praying, has anyone come up to claim responsibility or request for money? Thank you. |
locodemy:Oga, being new here does not give an indication of my experience. I repeat, my game is tight when it comes to investment management. When you understand asset allocation and risk management or exposure limits, then there is nothing like the market humbling anyone. You all have looked away from the impression I was trying to correct. And it is that the Japaul/Milost deal is not a scam and it is not illegal. Like all business transactions, there are risks or uncertainties around it. There is what is called distressed company investing. If it suits your investment style and stage of life, you'll not be in the wrong adopting it. Even if the investment in Japaul goes to zero, I've not breached my risk limit. Nothing is sure in this game as cases of many corporate failures abound, and these were companies that were given a clean bill by auditors and regulators. No be everything we know. When Japaul was at 50kobo, you only need 300 million naira to get 10%. I kid you not, you can use that holding to get contracts from the company and get profit of over 300 million naira in just one financial year. Is the above not similar to what RabbiDoracle was proposing about investing to take board positions in some companies on the NSE? You can also invest to get contracts. So you see, what we know is different and our aims also vary. |
pluto09:I've gone through the annual reports but couldn't reach the same conclusion sir. What makes it a badly managed company sir? |
wanaj0:To all of you quoting me, the post above lead to my subsequent posts. And for the records, I might not know many things in this life, but managing my funds and investment management can never by any of them. The aim of my post is that people have different investment appetite and invest accordingly. That an investment does not meet you style doesn't mean it is wrong. |
sellydion:How did you arrive at the conclusion that I am loser sir? Please check my previous posts on Japaul since yesterday then you'll have an idea of the post you quoted. |
Mcy56:Thank you. That is what they know how to do in this country: pulling people down. It is a scam. It is illegal. I am a shareholder. Are you a sleeping or an active shareholder? The answer is in the quote above. The goal should be making money, irrespective of the company. |
rebekah2011:Compare apples with apples. How does MMM compare to my buying Japaul on the back of a major cash injection. How am I scammed here. Can this deal go bad? Yes. Does it stand the chance of succeeding? Yes. There is a reason why equities are riskier investments than gilt-edged securities. |
wanaj0:Please where is the scam in this transaction. Is Jegede selling his holding to the market? Which major shareholder do you know that is selling his shares after the news? Who is being scammed here? The trades that are being filled on the floor are between retail investors; proceeds don't go to Japaul or Milost. Average volumes in the last one month is around 15 million. For a company with an outstanding shares of 6 billion. Do you know the investment horizon of PE Firms? You're only being biased by assuming a linear draw down amount. Can you please quote any part of ISA that bars a company from entering an agreement without shareholders' approval? When Mecuria wanted to stake $200 million dollars in FO, did FO seek clearance from its shareholders? Did the company not make the announcement through the Exchange? When you are in a dysfunctional clime like Nigeria, you're living in self denial if you use illegality as a point of defence. |
wanaj0:Part of the unwritten rules of posting on public forums is to strive to be unbiased. How does a first and second draw down of $21 million dollars become the committed $250 million dollars. That you don't deem some investments suitable for your style does not warrant disparaging same. Our risk appetites are different and there are those that are comfortable with investing in distressed companies. |
