It's been a very long time of waiting for appeal but I just want to announce that it ended in praise and I have my visa and ticket booked already.
It can only be God.

Collected Visa 27 April 2018.

Don't lose hope no matter the matter.
With God nothing is impossible.
I am a living testimony though my case was looking bad but God saw me through.

@justwise thank you for the response,
it's a federal government establishment and even when the approve for you to go, you'll have to sponsor your self and after Ward's get back your money due the one account stuff President Buhari introduced, my HOD said he is recommending me for it if I can foot the bill for now. He will give a covering letter to that effect.

Please what do you think?

Justwise and all gurus in the house please help me out

I was refused my settlement Visa in March, went on appeal in April and the court has written us that the will get back to us on 28 August, but i work for a government establishment and I was nominated to attend a pre workshop in May which I did and the certificate was given which am supposed to use for the international workshop application coming up on 17th August in the UK. For the workshop am expected to pay for my hotel fee and the workshop fee.

My question is

Can I apply for the workshop while my appeal is till on or will they be another refusal due to the fact that I was refused settlement in March even though I have been to the UK before on visit.

Will i still mention my husband in the workshop application?

What documents do I need for this application?

@Blaz, Justwise and Lex thank you so much for your comments and advice, I really do appreciate.
Hubby's account is OK because he used it in May last year to get his settlement which was granted same day. We will gather every other documents that have been mentioned and proceed from there.

Hubby thinks we should appeal while we prepare for another application because right now he is doing his masters which has a huge effect on his finances.

Hi justwise, Lex and everyone,

I got the refusal letter today and the Visa was refused for 3 reasons.

1)communication (that we provided only one year communication evidence whereas we have known for more than 5years, that apart from my wedding pictures they are not clear when those other pictures I sent were taken. That hubby has didn't give reason why he has not visited Nigeria after the wedding in January lol( hubby just got settled this 2015, he was facing he own settlement which he got with out stress).

2) no letter from land and

3)account (hubby is self employed).

I sent pictures we took at the UK but I didn't send my flight ticket but my passport page has the stamp of the entry date and the day I left,

We only forwarded our chat from January to December 2015, we have emails we have been sending since 2009 but did not include them.

I don't understand the account part but I know that hubby made more £18,600

Now hubby want to appeal and contest the decision while we plan to reapply,

My question now is can one make an appeal and still reapply at some point or do you have to wait until appeal is over before you reapply if you are not successful.

I want to be able to make the best decision as to which option to take either to reapply or appeal.

Can we send other documents like email, flight ticket, letter from land Lord and others during appeal.

All documents were returned completely.

@Blaz thanks for your response, will wait till I get my visa and see what they did in it, am staying positive and taking this hard pills gradually, even if they refuse today, they ve got to accept me tomorrow, it also means am one step to my success, if you are going through kind of distress please stay strong and be positive for with God nothing is impossible.

@ justwise and Lexusgs430 thank you for your response, please dose anyone know why an application can be declined or rejected as in this case? In such cases is there hope for appeal or is it better to reapply,
Sorry am bothering you this morning just trying to ease off this high tension am having since yesterday.

@Lexusgs430 hubby has received his documents and my original university certificate which was even lamented was not there amongs other documents, that makes me to worry the more.

They are all original documents, I sent both original and photocopies.

Hello justwise,Portsmouth and every guru in this house I need your help and way forward cos am really worried ,
I applied for spouse on 29 December and only to get decision email on 16 march and on 18 March IHS was returned into my account, also supporting documents was returned to hubby same day 16 March but am yet to receive collection email.
In our supporting documents, my university degree certificate, UK Naric certificate which I used as prove of English, TB certificate, call log print out, WhatsApp chat history over 200pages and some other documents were not returned to him.
I have visited him before in the UK before our marriage,
Please my good people what those this indicate?
Will I receive the remaining documents here because we sent all the documents together in one envelop.
Ones I pick it will let you know what I have.
Please I need your response. Thanks

Am in Nigeria and am trying to make my visa application to join him, we ve gathered all the documents required by God's grace and have booked a date on 21 of this month but we having issues on the health sur charge when filling the form on line, its showing that we are to pay $2800 USD which is just out of place because before that application I checked on line and it's 6000 pounds and the major problem is that there is no route of going back to make corrections on my application, please am confused and I don't know what do and how to go about it.
Secondly I want to pay for the visa fee in Abuja but it seems I can not directly to them here as it must be online, please I need help as time is not on my side.
