Let me go more theoretical with u:pneumonia is too common in the flock due to our weather,so keeping gc is a mirrage in nigeria,even farmers in benin republic that started the trade are gradually going into extintion,secondly,traumachosomeism is another thing,this implies gc showing its 90% domestic trait even in captivity,if the farmer is not observant,can wipe out a whole generation from a farm.lastly,its long gestation period & low production sequence also combined with the high rate of capital for its establishment makes it discouraging compared to other agro-ventures.

very difficult to answer ur question,let me just answer tactically like this;if u buy a basket filled with tomato here for N2,800,u can sell for btw N6K & 9K in benin/warri.

Please note that i am not the seller,i am not also craving for any gain here,all i want is d progress of my fellow brothers & sisters.

My people,i took tomato farmers in my area to benin/warri this sunday,it is good to know that you can make at least a net gain of 3k after all expenses,if u are a rugged biz man,u can key into this business!buy frm anywhere in ekiti state,sell in benin,i will offer u accomodatn if u dont mind.tomato dealers in these areas can take 200-300baskets in a week.
