Mzubuluzu, please go to school. Mtn has 140 million subscribers world wide, Nigeria has 63 million in that number.

Is every south African too short to carry the weight of truth ? SMH

Yes, 63 million slaves under the complete ownership of their Master, MTN. That's what happens when a nation cannot think for themselves. They become the source of wealth untold to more clever nations. Lesser beings you are.

"its ok that our products are inferior, because a black man made them"

Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic

Your products are inferior beacuse YOU are inferior.

Also, you are basically saying whites are better than blacks - disgusting

Your country is inferior, BECAUSE YOU ARE INFERIOR. This is nothing but an attempt to excuse Nigerian failure in all things (Other than civil war, genocide, dictatorships and breeding)

Leave this forum you vile, pathetic racist

Self flattery!

Another characteristic of oyinbo priviledge.

Don't get mad. Get even. Create privilege in Naai-geria.

Sadly, thought will be required before you can do that.

Once you start thinking farther than your nose, you'll realise it's not so tough. Chuck the passport into the sea. Forget about the Visas. Build up your dump.

Tis strange how those stats are close to the percentage of "oyinbos" that control the SA economy.

That sure doesn't erk you a bit now does it?

The effrontery of priviledged oyinbos is astonishing.

As always, the stench is impossible to recognise for those who live in the pigsty.

Here are notes from the frustrated heart, conflicted soul and defeated mind of a naai-gerian. cry

dsaynt:

Thanks for the info. I like the way you CLEARLY spelt it out and it made a lot of logical sense. This is the way things should be explained. You are obviously an educated and exposed South African that understands African/Black unity. Some people both NIGERIANS and SOUTH AFRICANS took this too far and once national pride is at stake everyone throws decorum to the winds. The person that started this thread was probably curious given the much documented history of help that Nigeria gave SA. The whole thing now degenerated into a fight...Nigeria vs SA (with external fighters like the Kenyans and Bots peeps that weren't even invited into the fight making inputs...Lol).

This has gone far enough. Lets sheath our swords (If i said hurtful stuff I'm sorry...it was a good fun fight though...hahahahaha). So pleae please, lets look towards developing our respective countries. I am sure we don't like the bad stuff some of our people do to spoil our countries so lets channel all this energy into stopping it.
As someone pointed out..the whities aka europeans don't fight like this...they direct their energy into developing themselves or fighting us. Lets learn to do the same!

have a great day peeps!

It got out of hand when the thread was opened. Now there are a lot of road-to-Damascus comments because nations have defended themselves. This enlightened reflection needs to happen before finger meets keyboard. Not after people have been beaten up and bloodied.

As for Europeans, they don't start negative threads about each other's countries.

Now, why the obsession about race? Will you now withdraw your comments about AndrewZA's understanding of black unity if you discovered that AndrewZA was very white? Or is the idea that white people also understand black unity? Or is the idea simply that AndrewZA made sense - in which case "black unity" is totally irrelevant?

Logic is logic and it has nothing to do with race. Good governance is good governance and it has nothing to do with race. Hatred and murder is hatred and murder - and it has nothing to do with race. Corruption and selfish leadership is just that. It has nothing to do with race.

Which brings me to a more important point: Just because people are all black, doesn't mean that they do not oppress and steal from one another. People need to start looking at the way people act and forget about the colour of their skin. That way, the thieving governments of Africa will not thrive. There's no comfort in bad leadership from people who happen to look like you.

They are severally outnumbered because bad news sell! Unfortunately, many nigerians online are not doing a good job to change the heart and mind of foreigners about their country. No country is perfect, but comparatively Nigeria tops with mediocre achievements. Just like me, I believe many foreigners spend 80% of their time on Nairaland defending their countries.

Tribes IN Naai-geria spend their time defending themselves from attacks and accusations by other tribes. It's the Naai-gerian way.

Cursed and doomed is this nation.

They have a surplus of venom, so they export it.

Cry us a river, Naai-gerians.

I'm sure you received a thank-you letter in the post for whatever role you played - alongside other nations.

Now, sod off and get drunk on a calabash of cheap beer.

You're upset because you weren't allowed to be ogas at the funeral? What is this moaner-in-chief rubbish anyway? What a disgusting culture! You want to be ogas even during bereavement?

Now, go and show love to fellow Naai-gerians before you demand it from others. You can't even love each other, you losers. Loudmouthed cowards who can't value themselves enough to fight for their rights. Millions of good-for-nothings who take their frustrations out on other nations.

2. When will Naai-geria fight for itself?

ocelot2006: Ladies and gentlemen, I must say that I am totally disgusted by this thread. And I'm sure as hell pissed off by both warring parties.

To my fellow Nigerians: some of you folks need to STOP being petty for pete's sake!! Yes we played an important role in SA's struggle against apartheid like a number of countries, and no one can change that. But we must stop all these petty and disgraceful complaints just because we werent allowed to give a tribute in Mandela's burial. President GEJ's presence there was enough tribute, so STOP WHINING. Besides Most countries werent allowed to do same. And I'm glad Namibia was chosen 'cos the then Rascist SA was its colonial master.

As for sweetcheecks and co, I suggest you buffoons dial down your insults. If youre all tired of Nigerians, why the f@&k are you still hanging round a Nigerian forum. The logout button is there, hit it for christ sake. And enough of all these SA BETTER THAN NIGERIA posts. Yes Nigeria has tonnes of flaws, BUT SO DO YOU. In case you havent noticed, your economy's stagnant, and you have a ridiculously high crime rate from armed robbery, murder, drug trafficking, and rape (particularly of babies). And we all know the high HIV/AIDS prevalence rate in your country. Keep in mind that the same Nigeria you insult is about to kick you off the position SA held as Africa's largest economy. As for the Kenyan who ran his mouth here, I suggest he zips it and go deal with the al-shabaab terrorism and tribal clash issues his country faces. Even his president's in court.

And for this thread's MODs, SHUT DOWN THIS USELESS THREAD!!
