Objectives of war differ... that's why sometimes you need ground troops to consolidate. Especially when the war is territorial like what Russia is doing in Ukraine, unlike isreal's objective which was different in Iran.

What are isreal's ground troops on Iran supposed to do catch the missiles launched by Iran with bare hands or with their boots?

Your response shows limited understanding of what you are even saying and the more you talk the more you expose your ignorance.

Missiles aren't intercepted by ground troops but by air defense systems which the Iranians took out and overwhelmed with the large numbers of missiles it launched.

The isreal's defense systems could not keep up.

You should read more and enlighten yourself more before arguing in public so as not to keep embarrassing yourself!

This takes me back to the initial post I made on this thread.

I will indulge you a bit to teach you a few things.


Modern warfare as I said in my initial post has evolved past the traditional boots on ground war.

The purpose of the war will determine the deployment of number of ground troops or no ground troops.

Wars are fought today more with drones, cyber attacks and technology generally than the traditional boots of soldiers.


Full scale wars are fought today without a single soldier setting foot on enemy territory but by the push of buttons from command centers.


Taking it further they are proxy wars... much like what the US and her allies are doing against Russia through Ukraine.

The scope of modern warfare has expanded to include various forms of conflicts which even includes economic and psychological warfare.

They was a cold war between the US and Soviet Union.

Wars are no longer fought with large number of foot soldiers but by these things listed.

Inform yourself and stop making embarrassing statements in public!

We are the ones that praise these countries for having working systems but will also be the first to expect them to circumvent their system for our own selfish interests. Now I used "selfish interest" not to be inconsiderate but because that's the appropriate term to use.

First question, did she notify the relevant authorities when her dad passed away? And did she even list her dad as her sponsor initially because if she didn't, his death his meaningless to her stay except she wants to take leave to travel down for his burial.

Secondly, is she doing her 1st degree or Msc because I don't think Msc lasts for 3 years. I may be wrong. If her program is still on, I don't think the UK would have arrived at the decision.
