I’ve come to realize it’s all about laziness and impatience else why follow one way

Going wrong way on a street where you can't even exceed 30km/hr doesn't put anyone's life at risk.

I've Experienced this in other states as well. The traffic officers behave like ambush predators.

They wait for you to bite the bait then jump out of nowhere and pounce on you.

But trying to kill someone for driving against traffic is another level and I've never seen it in another state except Lagos.

I swear I'm tired. Person manage to narrowly escape poverty legitimately only for some leeches/animals/oppressors in uniform to make life unbearable.

Today I was driving in Lagos and suddenly I saw the car in front of me make a U-turn. I didn't take it serious then the car in front of me signalled to me to make a U-turn.

Before I could make a U-turn this towing vehicle was already in front of me. As I turned, the next thing I saw is the towing vehicle reversing straight towards my car at high speed. The speed was high enough to crush my car and and even give me and my passenger serious injury.

Thank God, I managed to dodge the towing vehicle.

Firstly, there was nothing to indicate that it's a one-way.

Secondly, this car could have injured me or perhaps killed me and even gotten away with it.

Thirdly, it wasn't even on a highway or expressway. It was on a local street, why put people's lives at risk in enforcing a "crime" that doesn't put people's lives at risk?

Now, I'm wondering:

1. How does the Lagos State Government justify this act?

2. Is this how the Lagos state government impounded all those cars they show on the news?

Diversity is a killer and a stealer. What diversity does is to take the opportunity meant for natives and give it to non indigenes, then you and non natives start fighting for resources and opportunities in your own land leading to ethnic tensions.

Those that praise the south west for diversity will never allow it in their land, go to their universities and ministries, only natives works there.

They preach diversity when they want to take what is meant for you and then preach you are not from here when you go to their own land to seek opportunity.

I've always wished for that too. Our public transport system is full of unprofessional hooligans (to say the least). They lack understanding of basic safety, security, customer service, courtesy etc. They're unrefined lots.

First observation
I put the car AC in auto mode today and discovered that it chilled well. The auto mode basically tells the car to choose the best settings for the AC based on the temperature in the car.

So I was wondering what I've been doing wrong. The auto mode is chilling but when I set it manually, it's not chilling. That's puzzle number one.

Second observation
Another thing I observed is when I turn on auto mode, the car also switches to the recirculation mode.

Recirculation mode basically means that the car only recycles the air that's already present within instead of taking fresh air from outside.

Now I have a second puzzle; why's the car switching to recirculation mode anytime I turn on auto mode.

Solution
As usual, I went to check the car's user manual but found no useful info. The user manual is a great resource but it didn't have an answer to this particular situation.
So, I decided to check Google and here's what I found.

Why the recirculation mode is cooler:

Using the Recirculation button helps get your car as cool as possible when it’s hot outside and you have the A/C on. It recirculates the kind-of-cool air that you get from the A/C when you first turn it on, and the longer it’s on, the cooler you car gets until it’s as cool as the system can possibly be. (If your A/C doesn’t get very cold even with the Recirculation button pressed, get your car to the shop right away, there’s likely a problem.)

If you use Fresh Air – the air from outside that’s much warmer in the summer, the air conditioning must work continuously to cool the hot air from the outside when pulling it into the vehicle, so it’s definitely not ideal. You are also putting undue wear-and-tear on your A/C compressor and getting less fuel economy as a result.

Why the auto mode switches on the recirculation mode
I found this on a Honda forum.

Our automatic climate control systems will select recirculated air when it's safe and efficient to do so based on outdoor temperature, cabin temperature, cabin humidity, and desired temperature (it's much easier to cool 75°F recirculated air than 100°F fresh air).

Not all brands and models of vehicles give you a visual indication of fresh or recirculated air when this selection is being made automatically. Most Hondas do, but my Regal didn't and my brother's Colorado doesn't.

It's still Summer. When temperatures start decreasing in the Fall, you'll notice that recirculated air will change to fresh air once the cabin cools down and the outdoor temperature is more than about 4°F below the set temperature.

So, auto mode is choosing recirculation mode because that's the best for the present weather. Most likely, it will not choose recirculation mode when the weather is cool like during harmattan morning.

Bonus
Another question came to my mind.

Now we know it's better to keep the car in recirculation mode on hot days becayit reduces workload on the compressor, saves fuel and gives cooler air.

But if the car stays in recirculation mode for long how will it regulate CO2 concentration especially if there are up to three people in the car?


Short answer:

Most cars are designed to avoid this. If the car is moving forward, while recirculating or even with fans off, a small amount of air is exchanged.

Ask them to check the filter to see if it’s still good and not dirty . If the filter is okay then your car compressor is getting weak , manage it or buy another one ranging from 25-30k workmanship should be like 3k or 2k no let dem cheat . Tell them no need flushing na just to change the compressor and add gas won’t cost u more than 5k

Your car ac is low that is why you have to put it to the highest to feel the cold . Go and top up your ac gas and ask them clean the filter
