The security department of the company is contracted to a third party security outfit.
There are 3 boys and one girl working with the security outfit. The girl was to join some of the company staffs for an outing. One of the manager was hesitant about the girl going so, I asked the girl not to go.
The security boy in question said that the girl must go. I said no, she's not going. He repeated that the girl will go and before I know, he pulled out his phone and called the girl to go meet the manager so that she would be allowed to attend.
That angered me greatly.

Don't worry bro. Keep at the job and your confidence level would improve.

It could challenging working with notorious people as subordinate. But with this, is there a way you can scheme that guy out of the company or have him redeployed? Do it if it's possible, but keep an eye on that guy. Any little thing he does wrong, make sure you escalate it.

When I was dating my wife, we were in a car once and one taxi driver was just trying to muscle me out of my lane. My girl took it upon herself to caution the man and even called him Oko ashawo which I know means "husband of prostitute". Taxi drivers in Lagos are derogatorily called that.

I was very embarrassed by her actions because there were my friends too in the car. When we got to our destination I told her I was embarrassed by her actions and charged her to be more ladylike next time.

She was only 20 at the time. But she got the message and learned from that.
