I'll explain. To those strong villagers that don't have access to adequate information, it would be difficult into talking them into voting for parties that does not sound PDP.


And if you recall, APC's aggressive campaign on and off of social media, coupled with electronic media campaigns gave them victories at the polls. Unfortunately, the PDP does not have the funds to throw around now, let alone pay for a new national secretariat.

Funny how you failed to mention the oil regions while leaving out your South East. Every state is presently mindful of not throwing money around, particualrly under the PDP. Just so you know, some of these governors would eventually defect to the APC, and the need to fund the PDP is nothing but useless. Does it not interest you that the only vocal PDP governors are Wike and Fayose? Go do the maths.

It does not work that way. The PDP used to be a brand, the biggest political party in Africa. Creating another party just like that would destabilize a whole lot. And the idea of bringing the new party to popularity and limelight would always be there. As it stands, there are no marketable candidates in the PDP. Creating a new brand all over would cost the party years, which they cannot afford.

The party is broke and desperately needs money to survive, and there is no guarantee that breaking or splitting would ensure victories at the polls in 2018 and 2019.

What he is telling us is not new of course but what about ekiti state poultry farm scandal that Obasanjo used to nail Fayose during his first tenure that got him impeached . Obasanjo has nothing to loose again as he is already out of active politics but Fayose has everything to loose the way he fights everybody as if he is a saint.
