u mean I should save the subject and its method of requesting from the database in separate .php file and include "the file"; if the button/link is clicked

thats the most secure way i can think of, you wont have to worry abt smart students trying sql injections cos u wuont be querying the database per click of the link.
ot , i need to see ur algorithm eg ur step by stepapproach to solving this problem from the start till the moment you hit this rock so i can find a way around it for u.

but if am to do it i will use ajax to get the data on click of the link its fast n fun the page wont need to reload..

I am creating a demo Jamb CBT practice site with php (for personal improvement);
this is how I want the practice page to look
NB: I have already done the database job with questions in it already.
I can also request the question and store in an assoc_array and display the questions in the format above.
Now the problem is:
1. if you look at the pix above you'll see the subjects listed on the buttons above the questions (if u click on the other subject, the questions under the subjects will show)...

So I want someone to help tell me(Not necessarily a code but steps/algorithm on doing it) on how I can go on making the button with the subject on it, show the questions on the subject from the questions requested and stored in the assoc_array().

try using include statement.....

So u will have all ur page content intact but only dat section changes...




This will be the code to display the current subject page.. So u will treat each subject like individual pages...

E.g $s = $_Post['subject'];

Include "$s.php";

or if u know ajax or reactjs .. just call all d questions on from a separate php file into ur HTML file onclick of d link

Coz I dont know wat java can do that VB.net will do beta ..android runs java .

Am just saying if u want to pick up more users(hospitals).. Give them something very easy to use something that will be a total substitute to the paper file system.

Why not learn java build some thing that will run on d doctors laptop and tablet and mobile phone so he has his much needed info everywhere ....

Why not go crazy with html css n JavaScript (node.js) n build to run on the web

For simplicity PHP even fb uses it... All d features of perl n python u will just discover dat the major thing you need from a server side language is DB n no one does it beta dan php n mysql ....

If u love JavaScript then node.js

Developer is the guy that builds or develops the idea e.g the brains behind nairaland.
A programmer is d guy that codes the tools used for development e.g d guys dat built d core cms nairaland is running on.

In other worlds as a developer u make use of frameworks and tools, modifies dem to create ready to use apps .

Good afternoon... am a 200lvl chemist and I want to build my future in the IT sector as a server side engineer/ developer already I am good at php and can do few things in python (flask and django).

I want to build myself within the next 3 years before I graduate to be a solid server side developer but currently I only perform web works and sending data with json using ajax and php for android native apps.

my question is what are the technologies I need to geer myself up in , in other to compete world wide as a programmer , developer and server side engineer.

Wow is that not too much sir? I don't want it to be as big as those jovago or wakanow because am only dealing with hotels in Lagos.

All I want is an organised platform where I can list hotels, put their features and some pictures maximum of 4 and there will be a button to make a booking for a particular date. All bookings then comes directly to my mail and I confirm with the hotel if such date is available and if it is I send the client a confirmation email of their booking.

I will also want the booking emails sent to me by clients to be printable because that is what I will be taking to the hotels as evidence that the bookings came through my website

there is nothing like cheap or expensive domain but there are cases where u can go to a fake website make paymens and find ot your domain name has been bought but registered under another persons name so u have to pay d person to extra to release the domain name for you...
