Ngige was made governor of Anambra state by Uba to control the state Treasury. Ngige refused to hand over the state treasury to Uba just as wike and fubara case.

But the shock about ngige case was that he was kidnapped. Imagine a state governor being kidnapped in his state. This is not acting. It actually happened.

Within this period, the court removed ngige and install Obi.

Obi cleaned up the political mess of Anambra that such nonsense that happened during the time of ngige is in the past for good.

Within his period in which Obi restructured the political landscape of anambra to something of sanity, he was able to conduct a local government election.

That is a big kudo to the man.

During his time more than half of the 36 governors who had no issues in their state didn't conduct local government elections till they handed over. The records are there.
