Politics / Tinubu's Economy Best For Exportation by Beautifulday: 12:03pm On Jun 03
The economy is bad, yes! But is it the best for economy for manufacturers who export to other countries especially Europe. The cost of production may be high but the equivalent of the foreign exchange will bring in massive profit.

For instance, the price of 500 naira biscuits in Nigeria will cost about 5000 to 10000 naira in Europe.

Imagine the windfall if we have good export system.

I overheard a child of about 8 years old in another compound having a conversation with another kid.

I didn't get the gist from the beginning but I paid attention from '....garri. Tinubu is a mad man. It is Tinubu that caused it. Thunder should fire Tinubu wherever he is'.

Maybe the kid drank garri as breakfast this morning or dinner last night. And he is blaming Tinubu for the hardship.

Since Buhari, that has been the norm

Is it outsiders that has been helping u to elect them.

Obi was and is still a bad leader.

Obiano and Orji Uzo were good in their first tenor but were corrupted by una Lagos politicians. They left governance and began to pursue Godfatherism.

Be deceiving urself same way u people have been electing bad leaders with ur economic impact.

How come ur region is not feeling the impact.

We have never elected bad leaders not even one. But your laws had made it impossible for any state in Nigeria to elect their leader. It has always been rigging and electoral fraud because of the frauds that people like you want to remain robbing Nigerians forever

There is something people don't know. In the history of CBN governor appointments. The CBN governors has always gone for courses in the US.

Did this present one go?

I think this tradition was broken with Gowin

What he has brought to the table in the last one year is misery to majority of Nigerians.

That is a wrong thing to ask.

He should return the economy to what it was when Buhari handed it over to him.

Wow! Biafra has a better analysis? No wonder they have consistently predicted the economic impact of Nigerian presidents from day one very accurately.

When he is done with his verification, you go testify.
Politics / Re: Minimum Wage: Let's Be Reasonable - TonyeBarcanista by Beautifulday: 11:31am On Jun 03
Wahala! Tinubu returning the economy to what Buhari left it will be his best achievement. If he can not return it to that, then he need increase workers salary to meet up with the daily price change.

Someone asked if them dey import yam that the price should be high?

Make una help me ask am if we dey import electricity because the price of electricity alone has finished the average salary of a Nigerian worker

Lies which stupid verification.

Same otti than ran diamond bank aground.

Same verification Yaya bello did in kogi state for 8yrs.

Yaya bello did it in Kogi 8years ago? Wow! Good for him. He is not Oti.

Otti left Diamond bank long before it was acquired by Access. If them check am well self nah your relative dey behind the down fall of Diamond bank.

Do you know why no serious investor has ever invested in Lagos? Because Lagos doesn't have working data.

Any investment you see in Lagos is either by Nigerians or corrupt pady pady investors who came to syphon Lagos government fund.

He is being realistic which u re not.

Your brother otti is still paying 18k to Abia workers With the increase in federal allocation.

With which data?

My brother Otti is not eractic like your brother Tinubu who announced removal of subsidy without working data.

Otti is conducting works verification to know how many are actually working before looking at what to pay them.

That is how government should work. No be the I built Lagos yet no statistics to show anything that can be used to study Lagos economy

Is the government aware that a tuber of yam is now between 8,000 to N10,000?
a bag of rice is between N70,000 to N80,000?
A bag of garri is about N50,000?
A full basket of tomatoes is now N150,000 (not even 95,000 as claimed by Bismark Rewane).
A Loaf of bread is N1500.
And we are not even talking about electricity bill (band A), fuel price, gas price, etc., yet.

And the government is talking about N60,000 minimum wage.

People that don't know how the economy work are asking if we import these things. grin

Countries that import most things buy less than the producing country if measured according to the GSP and earning ratio

FreeStuffsNG:
Fiscal and monetary control strategies to combat inflation. It's paying off gradually as the month on month increase in inflation has started declining from last month while govt revenue is rising up.

It's very difficult and almost impracticable to combat inflation, raise minimum wage significantly and expand the economy at the same time but the Cardoso-Edun combo is like magic in economics. They will over-deliver and exceed expectations at last. Petrol importation will likely end this month as Dangote Refinery starts releasing its petrol into the local market, freeing up more forex to FG which is at same time reducing electricity subsidies and funding big impact projects like Lagos- Calabar coastal highway, Sokoto - Badagry highway, etc

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

Talk is cheap

This your talk no cheap. It is very expensive. The government has to return the economy to what Buhari left it before they can add to it. Every adding is still in the deficit.

What inflation are you talking about?

We are not talking about paper economy. Enter the market and check the month to month inflation and you will find out that it is getting worse.

What a stunning display of moral gymnastics! You're essentially saying, 'Hey, Hamas might be using human shields, but let's focus on Israel's alleged killing spree instead!' (36,000, really? That's quite a creative stretch). But, oh, the irony! You're silent on Hamas' hostage-taking, murder, and rocket attacks on Israeli civilians.

If Israel didn't have a defense system, you'd be singing a different tune (or not, because, hypocrisy). Your double standards are a wonder to behold. Do take a deep breath; your self-righteousness is suffocating. And by the way, your hypocrisy is so strong it's almost palpable.

There are weapons that can overcome the defense system. Make them use an or build a better one
