HE PAIN AM REACH BLOCKOSS THAT WE ARE THE FOURTH ECONOMY IN AFRICA.WHERE IS ANAMBRA 10 NAIRA IGR? grin
Anambra and Lagos state did not collect bailout....

But Ogun state collected 2 times bailout
They owe debt 100times more than Anambra

Ogun state with their 2 times bailout, High IGR, federal allocation and others have nothing to show for it....

Other States are keeping their natural resources for their next generation But Ogun is exusting their own for the present generation...

Do you think Ogun state have more limestone than ebony, cross river and kogi...but they left it untapped just for the future generation...
But Ogun is selling out its own to Dangote and lafarge out of greed.

IMO state has the highest gas reserve in Nigeria followed by bonny in rivers state But they refused any company to exploit it...

Ogonis in rivers state refused their oil to be exploited... just for the future generation..

Enugu refused anyone to texploit their coal even when Emeka ofor bargained for a better offer..he was directed to kogi ...but kogi refused.

After what is happening in Niger delta, it is only an foolish person that will allow the resources in its domain to be exploited for a country that can break up at anytime...

Even the north has much more resources but they decide to exploit that of the south.... The Gold deposit in Kaduna can feed the nation for years....

Be wise

PoliticsIs It High IGR Or Infrastructural Development......... Which Do We Prefer? by beberebe(op):
I have come across most people arguing over high IGR on nairaland........

I observed that most gullible ones are so conscious of their state IGR instead of the infrastructural development to equate the high IGR

In a more civilized countries, citizens are always unhappy when a government releases the nation IGR and it do not equate with what is on ground..

I was propelled to ask this question:::::::::knowing fully well that it is the citizens that pays this money..., where some even pay out of comfort and pressure..

It is not about IGR, Or GDp but it is how prudent the money is been spent...

Some of this governors portray high IGR in order to get extra loans....but some gulliable people will always fail to understand this...

Some state that have high IGR....can not even carry out a project that is been done by some states with low IGR.....what is the reason for that?

A state like Ebony constructed 3 flyover at ones, dualized all their major roads even in afikpo, built the first air-conditionined stadium in Nigeria, completed the oochiudo estate, and an international market of 3000 shops and other infrastructural development just under 2 years....can we ask yourselves what have our gov. done for the past years with high IGR.

infrastructure is what we should be after and not high IGR....

I do not say that high IGR is bad but it should have a reflection in the infrastructure on ground...

For Your information, Lagos is no mans land......

And MTN Nigeria is partially owned by pascal dozie....

You guys should be more concerned about the infrastructural development in your state and not high IGR.....

Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa but how many countries are they faring better than.

sad even the northerners produce those stuff you mention their only resources still remains commerce its just because they have good human resources that's why they outshine others don't call me trubalist we are defending our interest and the interest of our country here against every blackmailing by any tribe. outside that u love every part of Nigeria we just type out of provocation. We want Nigeria success its this people that want the country downfall
If all tribe could put their differences aside and work for the progress of this country.... and all region working earnestly on the area they have comparative advantage,..
the country development would move at a greater pace.....

If the northerners can produce the raw material......send it to the west in order to produce a finished goods then to the east for marketing....everybody will be happy and progressing

like seriously no sentiment I know you mistaking typed that @bolded what does the eaterners has that made them spectacular to others its just commerce they have refuse to develop their land and they have channeled all their tiny human resources to Biafra agenda cheesy I see more northerners becoming richer as agriculture add more to our GDP compared to oil. 2019 Lagos would be refining its oil to its population and other southwest state so we need restructuring so that Nigeria would be competitive
I know you are a tribalistic.....
for your information, I am not your type....

The easterners are most likely to succeed because they have high human resources, which is the greatest....
When you talk of indeginous industrious, the Easterners carry the lead..a typical example is Aba and Nnewi....
in every 20 Nigeria, one must be wearing an Aba made...whether shoe or bag or cloth....forget about the foreign brand they place on it...it is a secret best kept in Aba...

Nigeria is a home to everyone....
Go to tudun bojuwa in kurna asabe in kano state and see how the SW possesses the whole place
