Dee4Doyinsola: Please do you mean the person sent it Tuesday 3rd of November or 27th October? Please I'm just curious to know when mine will be returned. He/She said two weeks, 3Nov is just last week. 27th Oct is two weeks. |

[quote author=MOKENN post=95968730]Please who has paid for passport return?
Is it okay to pay when there is no directive yet to do so at the moment?
Or is it better to wait a bit for further directive on that?
This forerunner position be as e get o. Person don turn guinea pig.
The last mail you received actually said you should visit their site to know how to buy their products. I think that’s a directive. |

DeeWan: A friend of mine got the below mail from VFS today;
Dear Bleep, The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. xxxxxxx has been received from the IRCC Office on 11/12/2020 09:34:46 AM and will be dispatched to the Canada Visa Application Centre where you applied or at the courier address provided by you at the time of submission of your application. Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC. Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Please refer to the “Buy Services” page of the VAC xxxx for further information on courier services offered by the VAC.
When he checked the 'Buy Service' icon on their website, he discovered that the cost of the in-house one way courier is #12,500. He is planning to pay tomorrow so he can get his passport returned ASAP. When did your friend submit the passport? |

FariDk67: Good day everyone,please I would like to ask a question,I received my PPR on the 22nd of October and I submitted my passport via DHL on Tuesday 27th of October but I didn't receive a letter of acknowledgement from VFS so I decided to mail them today and they replied saying they just got my passport today and gave me tracking number,but after checking my tracking number there was a message saying that they received my passport today and it's in transit and has been dispatched to the IRCC office through the Canada visa application center Lagos office on 30th of October for processing. After using the tracking number to track my passport,the message I saw there was that your processed passport has been received at the Canada visa application center today 30th of October and is ready for collection.please I don't understand and this is the first message I'm receiving from them and it's my first visa application and whereas DHl delivered it to VAC in lekki on the 28th of October.please what should I do and what does this mean Please what is the VFS email address. That |

Akannitommy: No, I don't think you are exempted and so you will likely need to pay the N7,430. Since the biometric was not done and paid for in respect of the current application then you will pay transmission fee. I know this because I had a chat with the VFS office yesterday and asked the question. The case was for a PR who did biometric several years ago for a visit visa application which was unsuccessful. But now a PR is positive and passport request was given. I helped with payment and sending yesterday. They also said we could send to the Lagos VFS which is what we did. So my response is aligned with logic from this experience. How did you make the payment for Lagos VFS |

I take this opportunity to appreciate all gurus and everyone on here who keep giving their time and effort to assist in answering questions, even when many will come here to insult and accuse them falsely without any proof.
Special shout out to Frankrobbin and Qudkom for their unexplainable and unlimited assistance to make this application a success. They motivated my spirit when am about to quit and gave answers that quenched my doubts. I am impressed by their extensive knowledge and ability to share relevant information in an understandable manner. At last, the GOLDEN MAIL (PPR!) dropped in my mailbox today.

For those who have been rejected, please keep the hope, keep asking questions and continue to do the right thing.
