Since I don't know how long it processing will take, should I indicate that am going to have a baby there or I should just leave at visiting. Thank you for your prompt reply...Am a little confused because of the time frame.

My advice is you go through the online route as that is faster and usually takes 6 weeks. All the best!!

Congratulations on your advancement with the application process. Was the test at their office same format as that of the online reasoning test?

I took my online test on the 2nd and got an invite for In-person test today, the 9th (1 week). Test is this friday.

Guys, what else can I use to prepare for the in-person reasoning test apart from the material that was sent?

How was your interview? Please can you give us hints? Were they behavioral or technical questions?
Also how long after your online assessment did they call for test at their office? And how long after the test at their office did they call for interview?

Hi everyone. Firstly I have to thank everyone on here. The information you have all provided has been extremely helpful to say the least. I have been reading through this thread since January from the very 1st page and I must say that a great job is being done with the updates on development with doctors and hospitals status on birthing non-residents.

Armed with the info I got off here I applied for visas for my wife and I in March through the online route and got our approval last week (March 7 - April 17). Great news!

Now, the question I have pertains to next steps to be taken. I am really confused and I think it might be due to so much information on here. What is the procedure exactly? Do I contact doctors who will then refer me to hospitals? Or vice-versa? Do we wait until we get to Canada to find walk-in centers who then refer us to a doctor and then a hospital? Or is there something I am missing?

I got in touch with an agency that assist in making this arrangement but I figured why not try to figure it out myself. Last agent I dealt with wanted to assist me in procuring our visas and requested for a ridiculous $1500 for the process and I was livid. I immediately started the visa process myself and thank God it worked out! So you guys and the internet are my last hope!

I'm sorry if this seems like I am repeating an already explained issue. If any one can assist I would be really grateful.

Hi twhizzy, from my understanding from this site, a relative can refer you to a family doctor who then refers you to a hospital.

Just completed reading from page 0-57. Quite insightful and thank you to those who took out time to explain to others.
God willing I should be applying for my visa end of Jan to travel by first week in June. I have seen that it has been strongly adviced to lay it out in the application if one is going for birth purpose and I intend to do that.
Does any one have most recent information on the option that is quicker? Paper or Online application?
