KnowAll , you are wrong, if you look at the oil producing is getting 13% from non oil and oil revenue. Which is wrong? they should only recieve from oil revenue. and other state which produce the non oil revenue should be getting 13% for producing the non oil revenue. So their is a mistake here in the ministry of finance calculation. 13% should be based on all government revenue, and state that generate the non oil revenue should get part of the 13%.

And they are not even recieve the 13% if you look at the calculation.

Let look at the month of may 2009. You can see vat by side and others. The total revenue was N 440 Billion ,

state receive 111 billion , which means the southern state got about 40% of the month without derivation which is 44. billion.
Local govt got 84 billion, which is about 40% for south state. 40% would give you 33. billion for the south.

Now if you add what the state in the south got in state and local govt allocation. It is 44. +33. billion. which is 77 billion.

The federal govt receive 193 billion. Of this only about 20% comes to the south. Most of the money goes to the north project call abuja. and other project many in the north. Even while abuja still collect money from state allocation, the federal govt bump large amount of money into abuja. abuja receive as usually last month, like every month i would say . just received 25 billion for construction of just one road, which is more than all of the money all the 11 state of the 11 states that Yoruba, edo, delta and bayelsa state recieved in that money. This is one project compare to several project in the north in places like kano, kaduna and jos. the only place ever remember by the federal govt from the south some of the time is port harcourt because of fear of MEND. All construction by the federal govt on abuja like the stadium, road and others comes from the federal allocation and not from the allocation to the FCT.

20% of 193 billion is 38. billion for the south.

Allocation for that month based on derivation is 46 billion


Now if you add up state , local govt and federal govt money going only to the south for that month of may 2009 without including derivation.

44 + 33 + 38 = 115 billion .

which is just 26% of the total 440 billion of the revenue. Since most part of the south do not recieve allocation from derivation. the population of the state that recieve derivation so small compare to the one that do not recieve derivation. So the south only get 26% of the money.

even if you add derivation to it. It gives you 115 + 46 billion= 161 billion

The percentage of 161 in 440 billion is 36%

So how much does the north real get from 100% of the federal revenue . 100- 36 = 64% of the total revenue of Nigeria. the south get just 26% without derivation.

The yoruba state only get 10% of the revenue. while the north get 64% of the revenue for that month. That is the least the north recieve each money. 64% . and if you want to continue this please paste it on

if nigeria was the only nation , britain is building prison in. It send a red signal that thier is foul play. while would nigeria be the only country in britain that is be focus on. i think the nigeria govt should reject the offer. And they may decide to do that, since the G8 have disregarded thier feeling in making the decision.

Look on the day nigerian discovered that michelle obama had yoruba root. the gas price in canada went from C99 to 95 per litre in one day.

I can see trouble for the G8, one is the fact that the northern based goverment is planning to go nuclear. which is danger for the lifes of the southerner. And we know the north can use nuclear weapon against the south. noone in nigeria doubt that. and we would blame the G8 if this happen.

if the G8 does not play game with the south. they would teach the G8 some nigeria politics, and i can tell you, it would affect the pocket of everybody in the west. Lesson the south control the oil in nigeria, not the government. the south fix and determine the flows. the north have no hand in the oil section. if they claim they do not want something. stay away from it. Go and ask IBB or abacha how the south plans its politics. the south can be mean to nation they consider thier enermy. Do you want they to continue to kidnap your citizen. stay away from nigeria and its leaders. the better for you, inviting the nigeria president, tell the kidnaper and pipeline blowers you like the nigeria government. And I can tell you, you just put your citizen and oil into more danger.

If you add up how much the north get from oil revnue it is 55 + 25 = 80 of the revenue from oil. out of the 55% to the federal govt only less than 10% get back to south.

So the north have been getting 70% of the oil revenue.

North when nuru ribadu was head of EFCC. Nuru ribadu mostly  arrested 95% southerner, while northerner have been the brain behind the government fraud in nigeria. at least 70% of the government fraud in Nigeria are done by northerner, but what did Nuru ribadu do , his stat shows 95% of the arrest he made were southerner. Nuru Ribadu was a bias EFCC chairman.

It was Nuru ribadu and el rufia that cleared yar adua, making claim that yar adua was the most holy person on earth, he is now going about claim about yar adua. I do not think him and el rufia has an moral ground to be president.

look when it comes to obasanjo, if he does not support the yorubas this time around. He would be finished since he is see as the man who betray them in the first place  with the census. President obasanjo does not have any street major in yorubaland named after him. people on the street someone joked would move out of the street if they do. And all of obasanjo life, he has never supported the yorubas, but the north, but what he does not know is that his name would be forgotten in history forever and would be remember for enslavery the yorubas people the second time.

Here is the hidden agenda in the nuclear plant, they have seen the satellite pictures and know that the north is a minority. They would rig 2011 election. And the PDP would rig the election. And that why they are preparing for it. They want nuclear power form of weapon because they know, the USA can not attack them if they have nuclear weapon.

We speak more for the yorubas interest than any group on earth. Personal greed or desire is not part of it. Some yorubas may be greed. But if they change do not take place. I can tell you the yorubas would take up arm.

The cost of build a nuclear plant is about  $1500 per KW, some times $2000 per kw. now google and compare with thermal gas station, you would see it is low. Now ask yourself if our gas is free, which we are wasting. it mean the cost of generating electricity is so low from thermal station.

Then can the world ask Nigeria, why would they want to get electricity at nearly $2000 expect if there is no hidden agenda in it. There is an hidden agenda in it And we want our people in benin republic. And give the north 70% of the oil.

This is how 95% of yorubas, edo, delta and bayelsa lives. so it makes no different to thier lifes if the north get 70% of the oil.
we are ready to risk jail and be imprisonment for the yorubas, that give up struggle to have the yorubas, edo, delta and bayelsa into Benin republic.
