Even when you look at the international law. most of the oil, they claim is in delta state is really in ondo state. have you heard of 200 nautical miles people. It is a vertical line. So of the 30% we would have in benin republic under international laws most of the 30% of  them would fall into yorubaland.

So who is fooling. some of the oil you think is in bayelsa is not there. check google satellite picture. bayelsa really have little oil. it is river state that have most of the oil in Nigeria. And I think it should be more than 40% or close to half of the oil. and we are not taken that away from the north.

Do not blow up pipeline over a region that you even do not know the history. what is the capital of the niger delta. They do not know, because it as no capital. Yes the ijaws are been cheated. you are wrong akwa ibom, based on river niger tributaries and entire akwa ibom,entire imo,entire abia,southern anambra,entire rivers,entire delta,southern edo and southern cross river. are not in the niger delta.


Why you are wrong is because the defination of a river delta like in the case of the Niger delta. Is area where a river like river Niger, flows into the sea. But the river niger does not flow into the sea in Akwa ibom if you look at Google earth. So akwa ibom is not in the niger delta.

The River Niger does not flow into the sea from edo state or imo state or abia state or cross river state. So all of them are not in the Niger delta. Ondo state may even close to be part of the niger delta but technically map not be included. The source of that river looks like it is from niger but may not be.

So akwa ibom, edo, cross river, imo, abia are not in the niger delta. No way, only 3 state delta, bayelsa and rivers states are in the niger delta. it was obasanjo who in 2000 redefine what the niger delta means and this is where we have wahala. look go ask this boys,where is the capital of the niger delta. they do not know.

Cross river state have lost its status as part of the niger delta. There are only 3 state that were originally part of the niger delta. this state are delta, bayelsa and rivers. In 2000 president obasanjo redefine the word Niger delta and included 6 state to the niger delta. Which are ondo, edo, imo, abia, akwa ibom and cross rivers.  With the lost of its status as oil state cross river state is no more part of the Niger delta.

MEND tompolo claim they did not attack lagos, who did Igbos or Northerners.
ijaws are yorubas biological blood brothers.


The yorubas are not against the ijaws. Neither would OPC plan any sure attack on the Ijaw People.

Tompolo of MEND denied that MEND carried out the attacked. Those who carried out the attacked wanted to cause confusion between the yorubas and thier blood brothers the ijaw. Look Ijaws are children of Oduduwa.

It is abomination for the yorubas to attack the ijaws. And Tom polo claim MEND never carried out the attacked.

Tom polo claim the ijaws did not do it. I mean him. Look there is no reason for the ijaws to bomb thier bological blood brothers. No reason. the ijaws do not gain anything from sure bombing. KnowAll , you are wrong, if you look at the oil producing is getting 13% from non oil and oil revenue. Which is wrong? they should only recieve from oil revenue. and other state which produce the non oil revenue should be getting 13% for producing the non oil revenue. So their is a mistake here in the ministry of finance calculation. 13% should be based on all government revenue, and state that generate the non oil revenue should get part of the 13%.

And they are not even recieve the 13% if you look at the calculation.

Let look at the month of may 2009. You can see vat by side and others. The total revenue was N 440 Billion ,

state receive 111 billion , which means the southern state got about 40% of the month without derivation which is 44. billion.
Local govt got 84 billion, which is about 40% for south state. 40% would give you 33. billion for the south.

Now if you add what the state in the south got in state and local govt allocation. It is 44. +33. billion. which is 77 billion.

The federal govt receive 193 billion. Of this only about 20% comes to the south. Most of the money goes to the north project call abuja. and other project many in the north. Even while abuja still collect money from state allocation, the federal govt bump large amount of money into abuja. abuja receive as usually last month, like every month i would say . just received 25 billion for construction of just one road, which is more than all of the money all the 11 state of the 11 states that Yoruba, edo, delta and bayelsa state recieved in that money. This is one project compare to several project in the north in places like kano, kaduna and jos. the only place ever remember by the federal govt from the south some of the time is port harcourt because of fear of MEND. All construction by the federal govt on abuja like the stadium, road and others comes from the federal allocation and not from the allocation to the FCT.

20% of 193 billion is 38. billion for the south.

Allocation for that month based on derivation is 46 billion


Now if you add up state , local govt and federal govt money going only to the south for that month of may 2009 without including derivation.

44 + 33 + 38 = 115 billion .

which is just 26% of the total 440 billion of the revenue. Since most part of the south do not recieve allocation from derivation. the population of the state that recieve derivation so small compare to the one that do not recieve derivation. So the south only get 26% of the money.

even if you add derivation to it. It gives you 115 + 46 billion= 161 billion

The percentage of 161 in 440 billion is 36%

So how much does the north real get from 100% of the federal revenue . 100- 36 = 64% of the total revenue of Nigeria. the south get just 26% without derivation.

The yoruba state only get 10% of the revenue. while the north get 64% of the revenue for that month. That is the least the north recieve each money. 64% . and if you want to continue this please paste it on
