Traditionally, the SE doesn't vote Against the ruling party at the Presidential elections. 2015 was a miscalculation because they thought Goodluck was going to win.

In 1999, they betrayed Ekwueme at the PDP primaries and voted Obasanjo at the elections.

In 2003, they betrayed Ojukwu who contested under APGA and voted for Obasanjo of PDP.

In 2007, they betrayed Orji Uzor Kalu of PPA and voted Yar'Adua of PDP.

In 2011, they voted Goodluck under PDP instead of Osita Okechukwu.

In 2015, they voted GEJ again, but he lost.

Opposition politics is new to the SE and they can NEVER survive it. One reason is that the SE hasn't had a central rallying force since the time of Ikemba. The present leaders are just fraudsters, thieves and crooks.

The SE votes are very inconsequential simply because they are predictable. Buy the leaders and the people vote as usual. That is what the present PDP and APC leadership is rubbing in the faces of the PDP members at the national level.

Mark this post, by 2019, the SE would vote massively for the APC even if it is an Hausa goat not even human being that is contesting.

This is the bitter truth.

When you read that passage, he is not talking about neglecting responsibility. The said man was neglecting a commandment of preaching the gospel using burial of his father as an excuse (there is no indication of whether the father of the person had died). And preaching the gospel does not mean you neglect your basic responsibilities.

What is more important is to follow your so called daddy in his true nature towards bereaved people.

And what will make any living person appreciate that is what you do to a living person going through the natural process of hurt when loosing a loved one. You heal. Everytime Jesus met a dead person, he raised the person. When he met the sick, he healed. And dropped his message. That made people believe him.

Some of you are just pure evil. You preach Christ when you see pain and hunger and death. Not even one word of comfort!! Not even one prayer for those left behind!

And if you want to let people know Jesus, show them love when they are hurt. Cloth them when they are naked. Heal them when they are injured. You have preached the message of Jesus Christ already.

Death is nothing to one who is dead. It is a big deal to one who lives knowing that a loved one is dead.
