I would like to ask a question, if anyone has been through this before.

Is it possible to travel to Nigeria during school break for marriage while on study visa. Will this affect re-entry or any future post study visa.

If anyone has done this before, please help advice.

Sure it’s possible. In fact I know someone coming to naija in December for this same purpose

Yesterday, there was a ghost update- Then When i checked didnt see anything. But when I send today I saw the Original passport request letter for visitor permit for Mum and Study permit for the Child.

My Timeline

This is my first application
Applied: may 29th 2021
Did biometrics: 1st june 2021
Did upfront medical on 28th may 2021, then medical was updated to pass 2nd june 2021.
Eligibility review and background check i wasnt even checking all those ones, so i didnt know when they started
BVL: 28th September 2021
PPR: 19th October 2021

My admission from centennial college was for september 2021 but i had to defer to january 2022 cos of visa delay, i also sent my new LOA for january 2022 to them via webform and email.

After i received my bvl on 28th september 2021, i started bombarding lagos,kenya,accra and london IRCC with mail everyday,

To God be the glory, ppr finally came in today

I thank God for everything.

Timeline:

Visitor permit for Mum August 17
Study permit for Daughter( 13years) August 17

Upfront medical for the student was done end of october

IOM will definitely upload your result. You might need to call to find out from them

Hello everyone, I would like to find out if there is anyone who did medicals at IOM last week and whether the medical results have been uploaded. I received the medical request on September 22 but was not able to do the test until last week. I am concerned that the 30 days timeline (which will expire on Thursday, October 22) for doing the medical exam will elapse before my medical result is received by IRCC. Should I write to the IRCC for an extension? Please advise. Thank you.

You necessarily don’t need to submit before doing upfront. However, with the situation of things like available slots, I’ll advise you submit your application and book for the nearest available slot for your medicals

Can someone please assist me with the vaccine card scan. After scanning, it appears enter card number. Then i typed the number under the barcode. But this is the results i get. Does it mean mine was not recorded at all ?

Did the screening on 6th Oct and it was passed 14th.

How many days are in a year that one needs to wait for 150days to submit the new LOA?

Dunno where you got this info from though..

If your delayed application has passed your resumption date, you will need to defer and once your school gives you your new LOA, you will need to submit it asap to avoid the delay of IRCC requesting for it..

Just the way applicants submit Upfront Medicals cos of the delay of Medical Request, that is how it is..

Please do not wait for 150 days before submitting a new LOA, time waits for no one...
