Christianity EtcRe: Inside TB Joshua’s Broken Temple by beejaay: 7:36am On Sep 25, 2014
BobNeli: How heavy the log of wood in peoptle's eyes. But no, it doesn't itch them. What really matters to them more, is the speck of sand in another man's. Bro. Well, among the seven gifts of the Holy spirit that I know. Criticism is not one. Why dnt you discover your calling and shine with it than waste a huge amount of effort, trying to bring down someone who has already established in his God's given talent? To be candid with you. Whom God has uplifted, no one can bring down. Focus your energy on something more profitable to you, than side talk. It only shows how insignifcantly your mind has been molded. The coverage of events are only ment for distant fibbly minded watchdogs like u. Who rearely believes anything but lies. How can you also convince the teeming population who are constantly present to witness the events life and direct. Those who needn't your kind of mischief clips to confirm the truth. Can't you see that your porpoted damage to the name of the innocent, can only succeed in spreading his fame futher than not? Go and coock up more stories with ghost names. More over, God heals who He (God) wants to heal. Bible said. I will give favour to whom I want to give favour. Dnt blame the man of God for a miracle not accomplished, he is not God. He is only an instrument. When he told you that God has not sent him to your freind whom you came with. That should have atleast confirmed to you that he doesnt brag nor take the glory for himself. That he doesnt have his own healling powers. He only waits to hear from the One who sent him before he acts. If you had little iodine in your thyroid gland. The people you claimed died after their miracles. Did you ever care to inquire the kind of life they lived after? In the bible, there were ten lepers healed. According to Jesus, where went the rest nine? For only one came seeking the healler of his ailment. Not just comfortable that his ailment has been healed and then went astray. Let me remind you something here. The reason why miracles abound with men of God is not just for their (MOG) glory. It is for the people to belive that it is God who sent them. And moreover, that that same God is capable of what He promises. But the sole target is spreading the goodnews and bringing men to God. So if in a case, you received your miracle and walk away from the giver of the miracle, the devil, might still take the better of you.
I just cant help but laugh at this..some people are just way dumb beyond remedy, even TB Joshua Dull miracle cannot heal this one

Christianity EtcRe: Mock The Atheist. by beejaay: 3:20pm On Sep 17, 2014
BobNeli: The human mind is like a blank sheet being filled with informations from experiences. In the case of an atheist. They are dull minds, unable to give answers to the numerous questions from their experiences. Thereby, leaving their sheets blank. Sometimes it becomes even very dificult to convince an atheist that he is a son of his own father. Because the subconscious is empty.

macof: Op made very strong points. I have always had this idea too

Personally I have learnt more from television, internet and meeting people than I ever did in school

There are some of my mates who kept getting the A's but their general intelligence is pretty low
I can say it anywhere that i did not learn anything from school academics..everything i know today is by my sheer willingness to know
EducationRe: 10 Reasons Why School Is A Waste Of Time by beejaay: 2:21pm On Sep 17, 2014
@Op am sure u are already seeing the effect of why school was a waste of time just reading all the comments on here already....what you pointed out are facts and will make any sane person reflect on the decay the planet is facing already..

I daily think about all this and am even one those that realize that my 4 years at the university was a waste of time. I can boldly say that i didnt learn anything useful and had to start re-educating myself. there is no way my kids will be going to any organized school if i ever have one

Ishilove: That's quite an interesting angle. Surely you must believe in something. Nature abhors vacuums, so there must be something you believe in. Some believe in self, some science, others nature etc.

@op, I know just one female NL atheist. MissMeiya. There may be more
I believe in Nothing also..there is really no reason to believe anything..i dont care whether anything exist or not, i really dont matter in the scheme of things from the universe perspectives so why bother myself with what i can never understand.....thats why i tout myself as an OBSERVER and not an atheist

BodyKiss: Nature is only taking its course. If you're a thinker, it's only a matter of time before you find yourself in reset mode. In my case, I'm a Humanist. I find myself in church only when I visit my siblings to avoid their face frawning and all should I refuse to go. I just discovered my true self, still thinking on how to burst the bubble to them.
well u better do and free once and for all. o have done that to even my parents, they are surprised YES but they have come to accept me for what i am (i blackmailed them emotionally into thinking that whatever i am or i do is the will of God so they should let me be and pray for me if they think am wrong rather than fighting me cos its God that made me what i am that they will fighting). now am free at home and you should know i live in a very religious muslim state (ilorin to be precise)....

but then am not an Atheist, i considered myself an OBSERVER
Christianity EtcRe: So Did You Hear About This Christian Terrorist? by beejaay:
tbaba12345: This is nonsense.

In the first 500 years of Islam, Muslims were technologically, militarily and economically the most advanced in the world – innovating many new technologies and expanding the boundaries of human knowledge.

Christianity was never the reason for the European dark ages, but rather the fall of the Roman Empire and the rise of barbarian tribes is the most glaringly obvious reason. Historians are generally agreed that the last great ancient, or classical period philosopher before the fall into the dark ages was the Christian thinker St Augustine!

For most of the last 500 years, technological advancement in the West started, and has mostly occurred, under highly religious non-democratic european monarchies and empires.

The vast majority of pioneering Western scientists were not Atheists, nor did they live under Secularism, but rather they were devout Catholics and even clergy (e.g. Roger Bacon, Johannes Kepler, Copernicus, Descartes, Pascal, Boyle and even the recent George Lemaitre, discoverer of the ‘big bang theory’…) or protestant Church (e.g. Newton) – and much scientific literature and almost ALL institutes of higher education and research were under patronage by the Catholic [and later Anglican] Church!

interesting. the world is just filled with similitude to draw and make observations from.
but then if man can create nothing, do nothing by himself, cant even create an opinion by himself then he is not guilty of any action he might have carried out because he was not acting on his own will but a will from outside him since his brain is a machine.

religiously he shouldnt be thrown to hellfire cos he is not guilty and god should ofcourse know this grin grin assuming somebody/something like that exist

PoliticsBoko Haram: Report Claims Governor Shettima Killed Gubio, Ngala by beejaay(op): 10:12am On Sep 10, 2014
Following the revelation by an Australian Negotiator, Dr. Stephen Davies, names of other alleged Boko Haram sponsors have emerged.

The latest said is the Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima.

A magazine, “power Steering” which is being circulated, alleged that Governor Shettima is behind the killing of late Alhaji Awana Ngala, former ANPP chairman in Borno State, who was tipped to succeed former governor Ali Modu Sheriff as well as Engr. Modu Fannami Gubio, the gubernatorial candidate of the ANPP, who was killed barely one week after he was appointed to succeed Modu Sheriff in the 2011 general election.
DailyPost reports that this is coming even as Ahmad Salkida, the self-exiled Nigerian journalist, widely reported to have an unfettered access to Boko Haram, described as questionable, claims by Australian negotiator, Dr. Steven Davis, of having links with the insurgent group.

The Borno State-born journalist, who reportedly fled to the United Arab Emirates over allegations that he was a Boko Haram sympathiser, stated that Davis should explain to Nigerians how he “came across” a member of the insurgent group who told him about the former Borno Governor and the immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika.

The magazine, which claimed a secret conversation with a detained Boko Haram member, Mustapha Kolo revealed that there is an existing relationship between the group and the Borno State governor right from his time as a commissioner, where he served in five ministries before his election as Governor of Borno State.

Mustapha Kolo revealed that the governor had been giving them money to further their course and had been meeting with their leaders over targeted assassinations of prominent Borno citizens and politicians, who did not share his own political ideas.
Mustapha Kolo said, “When he (Shettima) was Commissioner, he used to give us plenty money. He even gave us money to kill Fannami Gubio, so he can become governor, but he did not complete his payment; we were following him, he didn’t give us again”.

Curlieweed: The laws against the free cultivation and consumption of cannabis have no basis in logic or even common sense. We will continue ignoring these archaic and illogical laws until our government and elected representatives do the right thing and throw them into the dust heap of history.

Redundant laws like these not only restrict individual rights but because they're routinely ignored by otherwise law abiding citizens contribute to making people "hardened" and blasé towards keeping other societally beneficial laws.

Just legalize it!
people have been so brainwashed to think that psychoactive plants like weed are harmful to the body with total ceaselessness on the very important role this plant in boosting our immune system.

i will keep educating people around me the importance of this plant moderately...

whether they like it or not this ban will be lifted and the eyes of the general public will clear to see what their government have been making them lose health-wise

Global Commission on Drug Policy on Tuesday in New York, at its annual meeting, called for a fundamental change of global drug policies and decriminalisation of drug use.

Members of the commission are drawn from political leaders, including, former Brazilian president Fernando Henrique Cardoso, former Mexican president Ernesto Zedillo, former Colombian president Cesar Gaviria, former Swiss president Ruth Dreifuss.

The group also includes former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and Richard Branson, Founder, Virgin Group.
The commission called for a complete overhaul of the global drug prohibition regime and focus on the promotion of the health and welfare of people instead of continuing to criminalise drug use.

It agreed that there must be an immediate end to punitive enforcement of drug policies, including jail time for non-violent, low-level users and producers of drugs.

exactly..if one can think critically, it will be seen that what we eat on a daily basis is a combination of alot of things including dead animals, decayed corpses of Humans. every living Human body surviving on food and water is composed of uncountable numbers of dead human beings that have undergone recycling into the ecosystem
