Grassroot must be allow to grow from the savagery hand of governors.i work at the grassroot and i knw hw local governments are being by the governors with nothing to show for lg allocations.for example the allocation of moro and share local govt is around 135 million and 127 millions respectively per month but the state govt only gve them access to 35 and 27 million making 100million fron each local govt per month to pay salaries alone. There was even a month the chairman of ifelodun slumped because he was being gvin access to less than the usual 27million. We must join hand to rescue local govt frm the whims of super corrupt governors

I have noticed that when one fails to believe in GEJ, that person is automatically a Northerner or a S.westerner, if you believe you are a S. Easterner or from S.s.
I never wanted to believe that young people are paid to campaign online until i got to this forum. Most times i read posts with facts but when you continue posting and smearing in the name of campaign. I foresee many still voting GEJ even with the attached Cluelessness to his govt. people have started believing that these are all lies because of how frequent he is been attack. You guys should post constructively, how the govt you support will solve multiple issues facing this country. The OP have created between yesterday and today, not less than five threads and have commented more than 300times. If i may ask, does he have another thing doing apart from been online.
nice observation bros.the singular reason why gej will win come 2015 is the manner the opposition is going about their styles both online and offline.people around me here av started asking questions why the frequent ill-critical attack on gej,it makes everything look fishy

yeah you are right but i dont wish the kind of fire gold passes through for Nigeria cos everybody will be hurt in one way or the other

the truth is i cant help shake off the feeling that somethings are about to happen in this world.... gold is heading down towards 200EMA on the monthly chart and Oyel is diving down plus USD is gaining ground when it should be losing ground... Chinese just overtook USA as the biggest economy in the world and yet USD is appreciating. big thing is gonna happen in the next2-5years and i hope it wont consume us all

the things is OPEC cant force member countries to sell at a particular price, countries can sell at any price they so wish, and remember most giant countries aint really a member of OPEC ie USA, Saudi Arabia.

I also read somewhere that Saudi Arabia is gunning to begin selling its oyel at ridiculous price of 50$ before year end to weakling the action of Russia in Ukraine and Syria revolution, which means the Oyel price fall in the long run is not solely economical but with alot of political undertone... another thing to bear in mind is cheap oyel price will not affect the Gulf states like UAE, Saudi Arabia and the likes but will most likely crush Nigeria..
I fear for my country
last 2 weeks Oyel candle engulf 6good weeks of candle prices(which a month plus half) and a very full candle at that with with almost the same upper and lower wick and week close candle showed a massive bear strength with another full bear candle breaking the opening prices for this year, me think this thing is ending south big time and Nigeria will be caught in the bear bullet

Many do not realise that the USA controls oil prices and can get it to crash and rise when they want.

They have 2nd biggest capacity of oil production after Saudi Arabia, who they can blackmail and make do whatever they want with oil prices.

So What are the USA up to?

1. It has long been speculated that USA intends to break up Nigeria to several weak and more easily exploitable nations. They probably plan to do this by ferment unrest and conflict in Nigeria that would justify them intervening and and initiate the breaki up of Nigeria.

USA already has troops on the ground in Nigeria under the false pretext of searching for some phantom 300 Chibok school girls who were allegedly kidnapped by Boko Haram, which has also be speculated as being under the secret command of America's CIA.

I believe the USA would also use their Ebola epidemic hoax, together with their Boko Haram to terrorise and control Nigerians, once they start putting their plans into action. Remember the saying "a fearful man is a compliant man" ?.

This is the time for all people especially those that are living away from their region of origin, to start making evacuation plans to secure life and property of your families should the US succeed in initiating a bloody sectarian violence in Nigeria.

Oil price that was $110 per Barrel is now at only $88 per Barrel and falling..
seriously i have been getting concerned with the free fall of oil prices for some times now and going by the oil chart, the fall aint gonna stop soon sitting at 85$, before the year end we might see 60$ or lower if traders become aggressive.. am really scared for this country and its people. what will happen if and when crude oil theft/pipeline sabotage increased as a result of the fall. this country is sitting on a time bomb

i dey fear ooo

the reason why i quoted you was because u said God is clean and pure and he is always where is clean and pure and not where is unclean and impure and i said using the words common amongst u people that god is everywhere which means he is where is pure&impure, clean&unclean, heaven&hell, happiness&sereneness unless he is not omnipresent again

Lol, your funny.
If God wanted to force you to worship Him, you think he couldn't?

Hell is for people who choose to follow Satan. Satan left heaven cos of the sin he brought. Now understand that God is a... Permit me to use sinless or pure being. He won't allow impurity or sin where he is. That is why he allowed angels that believed in satan to follow him.
Now we have a choice to follow sin and end with satan or obey the bible and end with God. He even made it easier by sending his Son and also forgiving us no matter what we have done.

So brother please what is force here? Becareful what you say

Symphony007: He owes nobody any explanation for not attending the never ending jamborees that the executive puts together, nigeria is the only country I have seen where the entire federal government meets probably every month for one nonsense or the other, one, it is very dangerous, if a terrorist attack materializes in one of this venues we're gonna have a constitutional crisis, second, the blurs the line between the three arms of government, imagine the chief judge of the federation attending jonathan's two years in office forum, what is her buisness there? The entire u.s govt only meets once in a year and that's during the state of the union address. Aminu tambuwal does his job as speaker of the house and has never failed to attend a council of state meeting, that is what he was elected for so he owes no one an apology or explanation.
you really got me thinking in another viable direction and i concur with you. god for bid a terrorist attack materialize at such a function, it will be too disastrous for the country, the country will be thrown into leadership crisis which we aint prepared for.

I think attendance should be limited to those concerned only

However, in the Nigerian case, the mind boggles. It defies rational discourse because I don't know anywhere else in the world where history has been taken out of school curriculum.

padeolu: I quite understand the what you are saying. But i will try not to go out of context in communicating my view.
Truly, human isnt treating its environment (earth) well. But I still think it is unfair to attribute climate change to man's existience. As i earlier stated, the climate has always been changing and it will continue to change (with or without man).Even before man, the earth environment has gone through a period of excessive warming, which is quite warmer than what we "believe" to be withnessing, also, ice age, the earth has aswell had a much more rise in her sea level, etc.

The so called theory of climate change is based on cosensus and not some scientific fact. I've being closely following the climate change politics since 2009 and you'll be surprised that the whole climate change thingy is more or less a hoax. What we are actually withnessing is a slight variation or fluctuation from the climatic mean which is pretty normal. It has happened before, and it will happen again. why then are we worried?

Several studies has shown that the mars is getting warmer, will you aswell attribute that to man? bros, truth be told, urbanization and industrialization is indeed affecting the earth but the earth has a way of adjusting to this changes.

About the ban on CFCs. It was just immidiately after the CFC ban that the so called scientists come up with the issue of CO2 being a potent GHG. I still but womder why CO2 is considered a pollutant and O2 isnt. Isnt that also being unfair to the plants if we reduce what they their life depends on?
onpoint, the truth is that most people dont bother to find out, they go on with whatever they are fed with once the captions says "SCIENTIST SAID SO AND SO"
Christianity EtcRe: Nairalanders, Let's Discuss Climate Change. by beejaay: 10:17am On Oct 01, 2014
plaetton: Climates always change.
However, rapid industrialization over the past 200yrs has no doubt shifted and affected the natural environmental equilibrium in ways that are negatively affecting our ecosystems and threaten various biological life.
This may accelerate to a point in the future where the free natural things we take for granted may become scarce or unavailable. This is fact, this is common sense.

Since the Earth has been alive for 4 billion+ yrs, we , as conscious beings, have to worry about the sustainability of our ecosystems for the next billion years.

It is just a matter of simple arithmethic to see that given our current rate of consumption, our forests , wild life and freshwatter ecosystems would disappear in a couple of hundred years from now .

So, do we take proactive measures, no matter how little, to address the contemplated eventuality, or do we bury our heads in the sand, play ostrich or continue singing hail Mary ?
The bolded i know will speed up the climatic change by some percentage. Climate is always changing and will keep changing, sometimes I believe that climatic change is also a very important ingredients for Evolution of life on earth
