systems shld be tailored to perculiar market conditions, am yet to see a system that works for all market profiles. for instance applying trend techniques to determine the price direction of EU will hardly yield result right now, giving the fact that its in consolidation. Knw when you system works best and avoid the market when it doesnt suit you method.

trading system should be robust enough to give you adequate information under any market circumstances. when a system is sound enough, it will inform you when a system is in primary, secondary or tertiary, trending or side ways market. it is imperative to develop a very robust system for this market cos thats the only way one can have the true edge though its very tasking and can take a long time but it will worth the while in the end

I have revoved eu & gu from my chart. They are indecisive as to where they are headed. Dont want to lose my demo acct to non-performers

bros i wouldnt advice that. Demo acct is for you to perfect your strategy and if the trading system you are using is not favouring the two pairs i suggest you refine it. the 2 pairs are one of the easiest to trade especially EU. a system that cannot perform under all circumstances , under any pair is not worth using. a system should give edge over any type of pairs and under all market condition provided u are trading technically, this does not mean that losing trades wont come even losing streak but it must come ahead at the end of the day cos the end justify the means in this biz

yeah thanks. lost on EU but made it cool on EJ 115pips and GJ 100pips and still running. u cant always win. still hoping to shot the EU if the parameter arrange, i just hope it doesnt happen in the night cos i dont trade then(dislike assian session). miss the train on GU so painful

todays market is kinda daisy. no real direction, just taking 5pips here 10/15pips there. its getting on my nerves.lost 41pips on eu today but gj and ej is giving it back.

lets see whether the current up swing on GU 1hr is finished and another leg down is for the grab today, the next hour candle is critical to this assumption it must close bearish otherwise i simply hang my arm on the shilling for another hour. my binocular is set. GJ is preppin to also resume its bear party if the up retracement is halt with a bearish candle on the hour as it sit on a major psychological point

what a crazy move. thats the beauty of candle close before taking a trade. it helps eliminate alot of bad entry/trades.

this was sweet though target didnt get hit ( close the trade +25pips though 30% was takenout at +100pips)cos of a wide bounce on hourly trendline.everything being equal the bear should resume witha MA squese in the making and if this happen we gonna see a pop through the crazy trendline otherwise i simply join the long train if the parameters are set

I want you to know that,the problem has not yet been solved.I tried to place a pending order this nite but the response was that,invalid parameter and when i tried it further i got another response that invalid SL /TP.

Please what do you think i can do about this I am using alpari or is it because i am setting it on my demo account or where do you think i got it wrong based on your understanding?

BUY STOP or INSTANT BUY
your stop loss shoul be below the price you are buying at whether pending or instant execution

SELL STOP or INSTANT SELL
your stop loss shoul be above the selling price whether you are doing pending or instant execution. and vise versa for take profit setting

Well yes your point is on point, you just don't post on this thread without explaining in details beejaay, this thread reads "forex alert thread", some might not know you're scalping for maybe 10-20pips and might end up following you taking this trade, thinking it was some major downtrend at the time you called this.

Please beejaay, for those people who rely on alerts from this thread, always explain any call you make, if you can't explain it, don't give any please, we have too many newbies here and you can scroll back to see them asking series of questions on trade calls and those complex issues.

As for me, i hardly follow any call here because no one else understands my chart than i do, i know what i put on my chart and i follow my chart tells me.

thanks for your comment. im not scalping as am not a scalper. i sold the secong leg of the recent down move which could extend for another 200pips down. there is massive confluence of MA on 4hrs (55ema,55sma,200EMA,76ema) and after which the week might go into a consolidating market. anyway this is just my own view of the market.
am also not in the league of following or giving trade calls which was why i have left this forum for a long time but i just dont know what happen to me today thinking loud. i trust my chart 100% and wont even follow richard dennis trade call no matter whatcircumstances i found my self i believe

After careful analysis and consideration the Director General of NYSC should tender his immediate resignation for posting Nigerian graduates to serve in the high tension states like Bornu, Bauchi where daily crimes and being committed and where Corpers were being slaughtered during the post election violence. He has clearly shown that he has no love and believe in what he is serving as the head if not he wouldn’t have posted graduates that had spent minimum of 20years of their life schooling and am very sure he wouldn’t have in his right sense post his own sons/daughters to those state. It has also been reported that he has given an order to give redeployment to Corpers posted to those states asking for it (why would a General in the Nigeria Army with years of tactics and experience behave in such a stupid manner).

How do you know what I do in private ? Am I the one emotionally making noise , publicly, about taking folks to Court for actions I will struggle to prove they are linked to? i have been reading these thread with keen interest and uptill now cant see any serious point been made by anti GEJ.from my own POV the debate organized by NN24 was not credible and should not stand for a national issue.NN24 organizers were all biased goons.how the hell in the world will u invite 4 candidates out of like 7 candidates? and we all call that a debate. are we seriously suggesting that the other non invited candidates are merely wasting there times nationally. i think NN24 is not being fair and the station is seriously biased and should be sued.these is like printing only PDP,ANPP,AC and CPC on the presidential ballot paper(im very certain the result will neva hold).i watched the debate live and i was very happy that GEJ neva attended cos if he had attended the debate it would av been tantamount to a national catastrophe and other excluded candidate would av made a case out it which obviously meant there is not level playing ground in the country electoral system.another obvious mistake of the debate was the mode of asking the questions.do  we all want our president to attend a debate where only 45seconds will be given to answer questionhow do u want to put your point accross in a clear terms for diverse people in a country like Nigeria( the debaters a program that was organised by channels didnt do that without giving out the topics before time) . we all want our president to be cut off while speaking.i think we all need to wake up and realized that presidential seat is a very respected seat and should be treated so.
