I have emailed all their addresses and called all their nos. They give me all those generic answers. It’s over 2 weeks now and still been unable to book it

Is visa issued 4 dropbox when notification is received that passports are ready for pickup? Any chance of rejection? Can the DHL folks open passports to let one know over the phone?

And yes they sometimes reject Dropbox applications.
As for the DHL folks opening to tell u over the phone. Haba why even ask? Of course it’s not allowed. It’s totally unprofessional.

I apppied for IW since March 1 and my profile has the notification 'Document Delivery Information' which i just saw today.

It's been 2 weeks since i submitted my passport. Does anyone have any idea what this means and why the delay? Much thanks.

Hubby and kids submitted 7th of February and it was like that for about 3 weeks. He got his back on 7th March and got 5 years. I submitted 14th feb and it’s been like that till now. Still don’t have mine back. So let’s just be patient and see.

I booked an appointment already but now, I wish to go with my 20 year old daughter. Should I include her as a dependent or part of family on the CGI website and fill a DS-160 form for her? And will the interview date be the same?

I believe u have to make pyt and fill her own ds 160 form. If it’s for IW u now have to get her own appointment date. I don’t know about interview and adding her as a dependent. So someone else should pls answer that.

Go to your portal,click on the feedback you will send an email to them,they will respond to you within 2 working days via your registered email with them,they will request for some documents like the 221g letter etc from you to be able to reschedule your follow appointment for you .

When u go to where u are to pick a date, it will ask u a series of questions to determine if u are qualified for Dropbox. If u are not then it will direct u to pick a date for the normal interview. So either u get the Dropbox or the normal interview date.

Since there is still a month, if u fill ur form and submit on time u should be able to get a date. U won’t know unless u try.

seems odd they would ask for a follow up interview without providing the date although the letter does state no sooner than 2 days after receipt of the notice i got my passport yesterday so will see if anything shows up on the profile tomorrow

Like I said I contacted them through the feedback and they replied to say I should check the calendar for a date. But no date shows up on my calendar. It’s completely blank. Pls what does this mean? I asked earlier? Do they release dates from time to time or what?

Hi guys. Pls my children were asked to schedule follow up appointments for fingerprinting. We have gone to do it on cgi but no dates appear. Do they release the dates from time to time or is there another way to do it?

Oh and for those asking, they have started giving the 5 years. My husband just got his own. He applied since Feb 7th and just picked up today.

He needs to go to https://www.ustraveldocs.com and click on schedule an appointment, log in and then choose an appointment date. It will ask him some questions to determine if he is qualified for Dropbox then he can do what it says and pick a date.

My mum went for the interview waiver program. She dropped off her passport at DHL Victoria Island and picked it upon Friday, 3rd February 2023 with a 221G slip asking her to come to US Consulate General, Lagos for an interview but there was no date stated. The DHL officer asked her to book an appointment via ustraveldocs.com. I tried to book a normal interview for her but we were unable to do that because the portal does not recognise her MRV again.

There is also no followup interview link/pop up on her CGI page.

She went to the embassy with the 221g slip and was told to send a mail to LagosNIV@state.gov but we have not received any response from them.

Please any advise on what to do?

I think you can contact them through the feedback option in her profile and explain to them she was asked to come for a 221g interview and ask them to schedule it. I did it for my daughter years ago when she was asked to come for one and they gave me a date.

Ok thank you Walmart. Same thing they told me. It’s my whole family that hasn’t been given a date and we applied individually so it’s a bit confusing for me.

Honestly it’s frustrating. Just called them again and they said wait. This is just for the mail to schedule. I’m even beginning to wonder if I did something wrong while applying.

Good day everyone, this is how my IW appointment date schedule went. When I was filling my profile I did not know I was meant to dissociate dependents but went ahead on the page till a page that said due to your responses to the previous IW question you should go back to step 2 to schedule a physical Interview “ which I obviously did not. I simply logged out from the profile . The following day I called the cgi customer care and instructed me to log back into the profile afresh, on getting to where the dependents are, I should dissociate them by clicking on the “x” icon. I did as instructed and completed the IW scheduling and by the following morning, I got an email to go ahead to book a date for drop off ( January and February were available as at then.
For my dependents, I sent their individual email addresses with their biodata page to the customer service and immediately a default password was sent which enabled to apply for the IW appointment date and immediately again, the approval email were sent and the dates were scheduled.

I feel this might help someone. Thanks

Believe u me I did all u said exactly and we are still waiting for the email. I just called them again and they said I should wait that everything looks ok at their end. This is 2 weeks and not one of my family members has gotten a mail to schedule an appointment. I truly don’t know what to do again. Pls if anyone has been in this position they should tell me what they did.

I am facing the same issue, I applied two weeks ago for myself and 4 dependents. Their approval came the next day, I have not seen mine. I have chatted the customer care. They asked me to wait for the embassy to respond.

None of us have received the email. I have communicated with them through feedback and call they said they will send the email when it is time. They say nothing is wrong with the applications cos I asked if there was any mistake. I thought most people receive the next day or maximum of 2 days. I don’t know if to schedule another appointment and see if the mail comes.

Pls how long does one wait to receive the email from them granting access for IW date? Been waiting for almost 2 weeks. My whole family applied with separate emails and none of us have received the mail.
