According to Equal access international AREWA24 was launched in 2014 to fill a glaring void of locally-produced Hausa language entertainment and lifestyle programs that reflects pride in Northern Nigerian life, culture, music, film, art, cooking and sports

I'm one of the biggest fan of Arewa24 since the launched of the TV station. Their recent series film "wow" me to pen down this article. I have been wondering why they don't take proper action by leveraging technology to expand their audience reach.

I put myself under a question, do they really have a professional video content creators??...Why are they limiting themselves while they have opportunity to expand beyond the horizon. "Dadin Kowa" and "Kwana chasa'in" got a lot of traction within northern Nigeria and among Hausa people living in abroad. "Dadin kowa" characters described a typical lifestyle of a poor man living in a poor society, facing too much hardship, struggles and challenges.

Kwana chasa'in is a typical mirror image of Nigerian politics and politicians which I recommend for every citizens of Nigeria to watch the series. How possible is that after all the series were filmed in Hausa language. And guess the most funniest thing...NO ENGLISH SUBTITLE!!!

Had it been there is English subtitle, a lot of Nigerians would have love to watch the series. It pain me for not being able to recommend it to my friends whom are not Hausa by tribe. The dress code is super elegance, admirable, and culturally well defined. The play of some youngsters, fashion gangs, and design riders in fashion modeling pitched the heart of many to squeeze their pocket just to look GOOD��. Indeed, dressing is one of the major pedals that elucidate and describe individuals' status.
When you're looking good people believe that money is flowing in your pocket. This went to the extent that many had gained reputations, respects and ultimately valued in their society. It is now common to named a Hausa man "Alhaji" wearing babban Riga sewn with (getzner) shadda materials even if he never had the opportunity to perform pilgrimage.

In a nutshell, the word 'Alhaji' is not just a name but a mighty reputation given to those that were opportune to performed hajj.

There is understanding and unity among Hausa people and their culture. There is so much information to share with the world concerning the positive impact of cultural transformation on Hausa fashion styles.

Professional fashion designers trying their best to craft new and unique styles that best define Hausa culture and at the same time goes inline with the modern fashion styles. Perhaps, a personal blog could help in sharing this unique fashion flux with the world. Your response on this post will determine my final decision to unleash this recently discovered niche. Noticing that there is no one talking about Hausa fashion style presently on the internet (blogging precisely) gave me the idea of how lucrative the niche could be and off course, it would be welcomed by the world because of the way we love to explore other people's culture, we care for culture, live for culture, especially we the African.

The Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on Wednesday cautioned students against carrying on with the road way of life called "The Marlian".

"Marlians" are hardcore supporters of music star, Naira Marley, genuine name Afeez Fashola.

The Rector of the Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic, Ogun State, Kolawole Oyeyinka, has cautioned the students of the institution to avoid cultism and unfortunate activities fit for tarnishing the image of the school or be prepared “to graduate rashly”.

The Zamfara government has dropped the outing of 20 of its students who were prior screened to make a trip to China for studies under the express government's sponsorship.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that Gov Bello Matawalle had tied down affirmation for 200 poor students to study different science and technology related courses.

They were sponsored to study in India, Sudan, Cyprus, China, among others.
